Navigating the website is challenging. I find it difficult to use and often struggle to find my way around.

I know of nothing that Rockbot is solving or any benefit it is to me except for the music selection in the stores.

Good music selection.  The few times I've had issues, Rockbot was easy to work with.

I own a restaurant.  Rockbot was less expensive than our previous provider.  We like our music selection,  Rockbot has good service.

It's ease of use when making a schedule and how it is able to add in holiday playlists set to turn off at specific times.  The set up was incredibly easy, and this runs every day in our store without any thought!

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

Sometimes the integrations with personal Spotify doesn't work properly, but that is used barely a couple times a year by our team so it doesn't bother us!

**What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rockbot helps us play music in our retail store without any stress.  It has a diverse library that has something that everyone can enjoy.

**What do you like best about Rockbot?**

I get to select the specific songs and music I like for custom playlists. I have rather ec;ectic musical taste and  my guests often ask about the music.  I requested some special music be added to my playlists and Rockbot has been very helpful in doing that. I have multiple lists and am able to enjoy a curated selection of my favorite tunes.

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

I wish I could be a little more finite, so I could make a playlist and have it play in a certain order...would LOVE album play option, but I found ways to make it work pretty well!

**What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have to use a streaming service for the business and it is the best option for me to be able to really create my own playlists.

**What do you like best about Rockbot?**

I love all the customizable features this software has. We can record and play our own messages that our customers can hear. It's like having our own commercials at no additional cost. One of the worst things you can have at your business is FM radio playing. Between all the political and divisive ads to a competitor's ad playing inside your business you don't want any of that to set the mood in your business. System is very easy to use. We use it daily and change the playlists during holidays. The music catalog is vast and diverse. From songs that we all know to discovering new music. I've found myself adding songs off the playlists to my personal playlist.

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

This might have changed already but they didn't let you play a specific song in your queue. If I remember correctly you can add an artist or playlist to play next but it plays songs at random not the one specific song you might be looking for.

**What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Legal, we aren't playing FM radio music in our store and not breaking any copyright laws. We also are avoiding playing any commercials from outside sources that could set the wrong tone.

**What do you like best about Rockbot?**

At our price point, I'm comparing Rockbot to Sirius/XM for Business or Spotify for Business - I like that users can select songs with the app and that we can put a display with what's playing next up in our lobby/social area.

Super easy to setup and get going.

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

The music quality is often very bad (we can barely hear lyrics, for example) and there are very few controls with the player for music quality, audio, etc.  Additionally, the inability to do song selection from the screen requires our employees to download an app to their phone (which many of them don't like to do).

The lack of any controls about what is displayed on the lobby TV screen from the player is also not great.

**What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We like to have music quietly playing in our Lobby and Kitchen areas throughout the day and have the ability to play it louder and with specific songs/playlists (e.g. Holiday Music) for parties and events.  The service & player are cost efficient and provide a pretty good selection of music options for our attendees.

We've been using Rockbot Digital Signage across 11 of our hotel properties, and it’s been a total game-changer! Our breakrooms have been completely transformed with a steady stream of corporate updates, property announcements, milestone celebrations, and even videos. It’s super easy to update the content, and we love that multiple users can access and manage what’s displayed. Plus, the ability for corporate to lock certain slides ensures important info stays put – no accidental deletions! Rockbot has definitely made our communication smoother and more engaging. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

While our experience with Rockbot has been great overall, we did run into a few bumps. Some properties had trouble getting online initially, and a few email addresses weren’t able to log in. There was also a time when the site was down, preventing us from accessing our account. Additionally, depending on the property, there may be occasional firewall issues. These are all fixable, but it’s worth noting!

Rockbot is solving the problem of efficiently communicating updates across all our properties. It allows us to push out information in real time and communicate important happenings from anywhere. This has streamlined our communication process, ensuring that both corporate and property-level announcements are easily shared and accessible to everyone, no matter where they are.

**What do you like best about Rockbot?**

The quality of the service and hardware that Rockbot has created is great.  Most of the time we rely on the physical Rockbox players but occasionally we need it for an event and we can quickly start the app on a portable device and the product just works.  After plugging in the hardware the Rockbot plays just connected and we were up and running in minutes.  We have multiple player located in multiple building and it was very easy to configure schedules to turn the music on and off along with scheduling different types of music throughout the day.

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

When I've told others about Rockbot the only thing I didn't like was the web interface can be a little confusing at first but working with the product that is a hurdle that is easy enough to overcome.

**What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are looking at options for playing background music in several locations around our College along with background music at student events and wanted to make sure we were covered to play music legally.  Rockbot checked all the boxes and made that a very easy process

One thing I dislike about Rockbot is the occasional limitation in song availability or playlist variety in certain genres. While the platform generally offers a solid selection, there are times when I can’t find specific artists or tracks that would really fit our brand’s vibe. Additionally, the app can sometimes be a bit slow to load or sync changes across devices, which can be frustrating during busy hours. A bit more customization and smoother performance would make the experience even better.

Rockbot is solving the challenge of managing music in a professional setting while keeping it engaging and on-brand. Before using Rockbot, we struggled with finding the right playlists that matched our business atmosphere and complied with licensing requirements. Rockbot takes care of both—offering licensed music and curated playlists that fit our vibe perfectly.

It also solves the issue of customer engagement. With the Rockbot app, customers can request songs (within set guidelines), which makes them feel more involved and enhances their overall experience. This has helped us create a more welcoming and personalized environment, which in turn supports customer satisfaction and retention.

It's very reliable, music never stops because of equipment or service.  Any problems I've had have been internet related and rockbot staff helped me troubleshoot the issues.

Nothing really, I've used it for 7 years and experienced no issues.

Music is important to my business.  We can easily create and edit playlists.  My entire team is able to effortlessly contribute to making playlists and we can access countless options available through Rockbot too.

Licensing restriction issues with certain record companies.
People working at the company do not know original versions of songs vs. re-recording or live version.
Wrong album covers displayed for songs.
Having to request for songs.
Not being able to allow certain explicit songs on a playlist vs a blanket ban on explicit songs.

**What do you like best about Rockbot?**

We found Rockbots' platform very intuitive, easy to set up, and administer from the site admin side. End users (building admins) are pleased with the selection of songs and ease of setup for their locations. I have worked with Rockbot support and sales on several occasions when we needed help or just had a question about how to do something. Their support team is great and will do their best to help you.

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

Rockbot can be on the expensive side. There is an upfront cost for a streaming box (one-time purchase).

**What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have five locations with business musci being streamed from Rockbot at each. There is one admin portal that a administrator can manage and delegate each site to a "building admin" that controls the music for there location. It is easy to get started and setup.

**What do you like best about Rockbot?**

The most helpful thing about rockbot is our ability to login as administrators with one log in and see our umbrella companies with all our sub companies underneath. While it took some adoption, it is nice to be able to curate music that is appropiate for each business type, and we very rarely have  interruptions to the service due to the devices storing music for offline moments! Implementation was easy and when we have needed support, it was painless. For a product we use daily in 5-6 outlets, we are very happy!

I don't have anything bad to say about rockbot. All of our growing pains were due to change and adoption internally!

I like that I can control the music for all five of our locations from the palm of my hand.  Each location can taylor their music selection and I can review it.  Quick and easy, awesome service.

Some functions are only available thru a desktop interface and not on a phone.
Would be nice if more functions were available on a phone.

We have approximately 40 locations with Rockbot and from my first interactions with them I knew this was the right company to work with. 
The sales team is great - throughout all our deployments I've had to contact the service department once and had a great interaction there as well. 
The portal is super easy to use and most importantly - everything just works...

**What do you like best about Rockbot?**

Rockbot was easy to setup and get in service. We ran into some issues with our firewall, but customer service helped us and it was resolved the same day. The music selection was great, we enjoyed the option of having this run our audio and video displays in our stores. We were long time customers of Muzak/Mood media but they priced themselves out of being an option. I wish there were ways of creating custom messages besides just uploading your own but overall the product is great with a fantastic price point.

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

Custom messaging making for overhead commercials, you are on your own. Other than that, the service is great!

It runs our music and messaging systems for our stores.

Rockbot has a good collection of music that allows us to control the mood of our space.  We operate a Fitness Center and need upbeat music.  We have utilized other software but Rockbot has been the best so far.  Setup and changing the music has been easy.  We have it playing in multiple facilities constantly.  When we had issues with the sound machines, Rockbot sent new ones immediately.  We just plugged our existing system in and it integrated perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

That the music machines arent able to do wifi and ethernet.

Rckbot allows us to set the mood in our Fitness Center by having a great selection of upbeat music to choose from.

Recently, Rockbot has been playing nonstop overnight even though the settings state that it should automatically turn off at night and turn on in the morning.

**What do you like best about Rockbot?**

I replaced our restaurants' licensed music provider with Rockbot. The legacy provider had hardware and an interface that was pretty difficult to administer. Rockbot is much more modern and user-friendly. Setup was a breeze, and I can administer the devices remotely via web browser, which is key in any multi-location business.

Another huge plus is that we can actually build our own playlists (which play on shuffle) and aren't limited to pre-designed playlists. The catalog includes nearly any song you could possibly want. And if you do want to use pre-designed playlists, there are a ton to choose from. The scheduling features work really well, too, so you can have different playlists at different times of day.

Other great features: if you lose internet briefly, you won't lose music. About an hour of upcoming music is cached in the device for this purpose. And the administrator can see a precise history of songs played. This has been helpful when a customer has asked for the name of a song, or when an employee reports that a song on a pre-designed playlist was not a good fit for the venue and we can ban that song.

I've contacted customer support a few times, and I think that once a tech is assigned, the techs have been native English speakers.

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

We originally used a Spotify playlist sync, but it stopped syncing and that feature was put on pause by Rockbot. At first I was disappointed, but it has worked out absolutely fine and I just add and remove songs within the Rockbot interface. In some ways, that's better anyway since I don't need to double-check that the sync occurred.

**What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As restaurants, we need to have licensed music and Rockbot takes care of that for us! It's also important to be able to administer the devices remotely, since we have multiple sites, and Rockbot makes that easy.

Everything is great. The biggest thing I appreciate is that they've kept my pricing the same since I started with them many years ago. That is huge for me. I am very loyal to Rockbot but if my rate went up, I would be force to start shopping elsewhere even if that meant I would not have as good of a user experience. So kudos to Rockbot for not being like every other company and keeping their pricing flat for their loyal customers.

**What do you dislike about Rockbot?**

Really, no downside. If I had to pick one, I would like the app to have the ability to edit playlists instead of having to use a web browser.

**What problems is Rockbot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple music on set schedules customized to my clientele. We used to have to have the staff remember when to change the music station. Rockbot automates this. Staff can now skip and ban songs that don't fit with our atmosphere from the mounted iPads. It's wonderful.

Simple user interface.  It is really easy to navigate and ability to create zones for specific users..

The billing process can be somewhat confusing, as I receive separate invoices for each subscription linked to my account. It would be much more convenient to have a single, consolidated annual charge for the entire account, which could then be adjusted whenever players are added.

can't change the playlists yet as MR MIKES head office controls and dictates what songs play on playlist. Was told that we would have ability to dislike songs so they do not play on our playlist.

Well, I do not think Rockbot is solving any problem as there are many service provider providing same service. However, Rockbot was easier to install and start using.
