Most new motor carriers get their first FMCSA contact the hard way: a new-entrant safety audit letter, a 12-month window, and a filing cabinet that was never set up for it. Roadworthy HQ is a DOT compliance workspace built specifically for US carriers running one to ten trucks. Driver qualification files track every 49 CFR §391.51(b) item — application, MVR, road test, medical certificate, annual review — each with the correct retention window. The drug and alcohol program module handles §382 random pool calculations at current annual testing rates, logs pre-employment and annual FMCSA Clearinghouse queries, and generates consent forms. A DVIR log, annual inspections, and a maintenance log are kept per vehicle. Document intake is suggested, not guessed: upload a PDF or a photo and the workspace reads it and suggests the document type and the dates on it; you confirm before it is filed, and the CFR retention window is computed from the type you confirmed. Retention is enforced by the database itself: every document gets its CFR retention window on upload, purges run on a two-step grace period, and an append-only event log preserves the history. One click exports the audit binder as a ZIP with a manifest. Pricing is flat and public — $39, $89, or $149 per month by fleet size, with no per-driver fees, no contracts, and no sales calls.
