## Riverside Reviews
 ### 1. Riverside SUPERCHARGED My Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher E. | VP, Talent Quality and Digital Engagement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

The AI tools help out my workflow tremendously! I also needed to reach out to their support through chat about a specific issue, and they were very thorough when walking my through finding a solution (that's a BIG deal with the projects I work on).

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Occasionally after uploading a video the audio & video will be out of sync with eachother (especially towards the end of the clip). I found (through a lot of research and trial-and-error) that if the video is more than about 7 GB in size I needed to compress the video to a smaller size first before uploading. There are a number of ways to do it and still retain the video quality, so it's an easy fix. This info might already be posted on their website as well, but I think it would be beneficial to have a reminder prompt pop up before uploading a video file.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do a lot of video editing for a podcast I help produce for my employer. Riverside is absolutely amazing for not only recording the show and it's remote guests, but also hosting the episodes afterwards. And the AI tools to help trim out all of the filler word, pauses and fluff.....COUNTLESS hours saved by Riverside doing the heavy lifting! Now I only use Premiere Pro for specific assets added as a final step, whereas before Riverside I used it to carry the entire workload. The pricing is also an incredible value!

 ### 2. Practical Platform for Remote Webinar and Walkthrough Recording

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** VINAY P. | Mechanical Design Engineer, Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What stood out most for me was how Riverside reduced the effort required to create clean, professional recordings during project discussions and presentation-sharing activities.

I used it mainly for recording walkthroughs, webinar-style sessions, and explanation videos where audio clarity and quick editing mattered. The separate audio/video tracks were genuinely useful because even when internet quality fluctuated, the final recording quality remained stable.

The AI transcript editing saved a lot of time during longer recordings. Instead of manually searching through videos to trim sections or extract key points, I could directly edit through the transcript and generate shorter clips much faster.
I also liked the automatic subtitles and Magic Clips feature because it simplified converting long recordings into smaller shareable updates for presentations and communication workflows.

The interface felt modern without becoming overly technical, and overall performance during recording and exporting remained reliable in regular usage.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The platform works well overall, but there are occasional syncing and browser-related issues during longer remote sessions.

The built-in editor is convenient for quick work, though larger recordings sometimes take longer to process compared to dedicated editing software.
I also felt that some advanced export and customization features could be more flexible in lower-tier plans.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Riverside, most recording activities depended on standard meeting platforms, which often created audio-quality issues, unstable recordings, and additional post-editing effort.

For example, while recording project explanations and technical walkthroughs remotely, fixing audio mismatches and preparing usable clips consumed unnecessary time.

Riverside simplified this process by combining recording, transcription, editing, subtitles, and clip generation into one workflow. The AI-assisted editing and transcript search reduced manual editing effort significantly, especially during longer recordings.

As a result, creating presentation-ready recordings, webinar content, and technical walkthrough videos became faster, more organized, and easier to manage during ongoing coordination and knowledge-sharing activities.

 ### 3. All-in-One Podcast Recording with Smart Clips and Scan-Friendly Transcripts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily H. | Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I love that it gets rid of all the recording pain points for me - it has all my files in one easy spot, it suggests clips so I don't have to dig back through the episode, and it provides a transcript I can easily scan to find things I want to amend or to pull my own quotes!

The last software I used didn't have a holding room / permission to join button, and having that allows the producers of the pod to get their thoughts together before letting in a guest. I also use it on old episodes of another podcast I do to get transcripts and create social media meterial and blogs! I've found so many ways to work the software into my day to day use and replace both Zoom and Descript.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The only bummer is that I have to make sure the person on the other side doesn't leave - but since it leads to the best possible quality audio/video, I can't really complain!

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving all the post production more than anything. It saves time on episode descriptions, clips, finding specific moments we can only sort of remember. Because it does the actual recording stuff so well, I'm able to play around in these other arenas where the software is adding benefits to my finished product.

 ### 4. Efficient Podcasting with Great Clips

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan D. | Life coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside has helped me be more efficient in my podcast recording process. I love the magic clips for YouTube shorts and Reels, the ease of editing transcripts, and the sound and video quality in the recordings.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

There's a big learning curve when it comes to editing and sharing. I'm figuring it out, but with lots of help from Claude.ai. For my visualization videos, it's much easier to record the video on Riverside then jump over to iMovie to finish adding looped music and removing video for dark screen. I'd also like better b-roll footage. I've decided not to use it with the clips it currently offers (mostly male-dominated executives that often don't match the narrative of my podcasts and Shorts.). Otherwise, I love how easy it is to create clips, edit videos, and share to YouTube and podcast platforms including iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, iHeart Radio, etc.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm saving a ton of time editing transcripts and videos, creating YouTube shorts and Instagram reels. And I love that it adds on screen captions and other titles/subtitles. Once you learn the process, it's really simples and quick to create great podcast episodes, videos, etc. The price for all of this is fantastic and the AI is getting better.

 ### 5. Easy, Powerful Podcasting with Riverside—Great AI Features, Support, and Pricing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Air Conditioning G. | Chief Cooling Guy President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

The ease of the use is fantastic. I have over 30 podcasts already and I had never done this before. The AI features are great especially enhancing the voice, the music, the B roll inserts THIS IS THE BEST. The performance has been amazing. My videos are fun to watch and whenever I have any questions, their support is always available to help and gets the issue resolved. Usually its becuase I didnt know there was a special feature or easy link to fix what I needed. The pricing is perfect. It has a lot of stuff for the price. It integrats really nicely with social media platforms. IN fact I publish to Spotify directly from Riverside. Love it Love it!

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Nothing so far. It has really been great for me as a starting Podcaster.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside allowed me to launch my podcast for my industry in the HVAC world. I help explain topics for homeowners so that they are more informed when they start their journey of purchasing their next hvac system. What to look out for and what terms mean so that they are better informed.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Riverside! We're glad to hear that you find the AI features, support, and pricing to be beneficial for your podcasting needs. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to provide you with a great experience.

 ### 6. Why Riverside Helps Business Owners Finally Start Creating Content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris I. | Executive Board Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What I like most about Riverside.fm is that it makes creating professional long form content simple without overcomplicating the process. It helps business owners actually start recording instead of obsessing over gear and production.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

What I dislike about Riverside.fm is that while it’s powerful, it can still feel glitchy at times. Upload issues, browser problems, audio syncing, and occasional lag can frustrate less tech savvy clients. It’s great when it works smoothly, but troubleshooting can slow down the process.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside.fm solves the problem of making professional remote content creation simple and affordable. Instead of needing a studio setup or complicated production process, I can record high quality podcasts and videos with clients anywhere. That benefits me because it speeds up content creation, lowers production barriers for clients, and gives us long form content we can repurpose into clips, blogs, social posts, and YouTube content.

 ### 7. Simple to Use with Handy AI Production Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riley G. | Product Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

It's very simple to use including building registration pages that reflect our brand, hosting the live webinar, and post-webinar production. The production tools are very handy including the AI tool that allows you to dub over misspoken words - I've used this several times - and the audio enhancers - love this. I haven't yet used all of the features but so far I'm very happy. The support team was very responsive and helpful the one time I had an issue.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Not so much dislikes but things I hope they're working to improve:
There's definitely some background bleeding that reduces the visual quality of the output.
For the registrants/attendees table - there are a few things I wish I could do like exclude company attendees from the overall metrics as they skew the results (company attendees tend to stay the entire webinar)
I feel like the Hubspot integration could do more powerful things. Right now it feels a bit light and unfinished.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to host webinars and create video content in-house.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're happy to hear that you're enjoying the simplicity and functionality of Riverside, as well as the support from our team. Your feedback on areas for improvement is valuable to us, and we will take it into account as we continue to enhance our platform. Thank you for choosing Riverside for your webinar hosting and video content creation needs!

 ### 8. No more unpleasant surprises

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diann W. | Business Strategist & Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I just hit a major milestone with my podcast, ADHD-ish - 300 episodes. Over the 5+ years I have hosted a weekly podcast, I have used 4 different recording platforms prior to Riverside. While each one had features I liked, only Riverside had everything I wanted, plus rockstar customer service. And, Riverside just keeps adding more features and enhancing both quality and ease of use. I love the flexibility to record solo or guest episodes, audio, video or both and on the rare occasion when I have a problem, Riverside's responsiveness is second to none.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Because I record both solo and guest episodes, I wish I could set up two different studios without having to upgrade.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had pretty frequent problems with file uploading issues when I used Squadcast but since switching back to Riverside, they have disappeared.

 ### 9. Easy-to-Use Riverside with Excellent Quality and Helpful AI Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sinisa G. | Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I really like how easy Riverside is to use—it makes recording and producing content feel straightforward. The video and audio quality are excellent, and the AI tools are genuinely helpful. Magic Audio stands out in particular because it balances sound really well, boosting quieter speakers and smoothing out overly loud ones. I also appreciate that subtitles are generated automatically and that I can edit videos directly on the platform, which saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Occasionally there are some technical hiccups—for example, the upload percentage doesn’t always display correctly, which can be a bit confusing. I’ve also run into issues with guests’ audio, like their microphones not being recognized or inconsistent sound quality. It would also help if echo cancellation were enabled by default to prevent common audio problems, especially for less technical users.

Pricing is ok, some plans are on the expensive side, but starter ones are fine.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It integrates with HubSpot, which is a big plus. Whenever I run into issues, their support has been stellar and really responsive. The studio itself also delivers great audio and video quality, especially for the plan I’m on.

 ### 10. Riverside Makes Virtual Interviews Effortless Across Devices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside makes setting up virtual interviews a breeze. I like the versatility in what can be used to conduct interviews with interviewees, as well. Not just computer with webcam, but tablet and phone. Extremely helpful to have that flexibility.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The in house video editor is okay, but it isn’t always intuitive or robust. And sometimes runs very slowly.

Also, I record my audio in 48k and Riverside states it does, as well. However, when I export videos, they export at 44.1k and I don’t understand why. Also, so I have experienced uploading a video to be hosted and shared that uploads fine, but will fall out of sync on other websites that Riverside shares to. This is remedied sometimes by re-uploading, but not always.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to get the best quality audio and video from those I interview without me having to either fly them in or for me to travel there.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Riverside's versatility helpful for conducting virtual interviews across different devices. We appreciate your feedback about the in-house video editor and the audio export settings. We'll definitely take your comments into consideration for future improvements.

 ### 11. My production department. Superior quality. All the Editing. Auto Reels. And Great Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marit W. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I love that the 2 perspectives are recorded separately so there's always clean audio and video. I love that the editing is started and the magic clips are created for me for social media. It's so superior to any other recording system! It doesn't integrate directly to calendly, but Riverside showed me how to get it connected. Now it automates it for me so all of my podcast recordings and webinars are a breeze! Their pricing is comparable to Zoom for so much more value. It replaces an employee. I edit my own hour long podcast in about 90-120 minutes and really like the results. Then, I use clips of that which Riverside automatically sorts by subject and scores for their effectiveness. I can even use AI to adjust my video so eye contact is direct! The magic sound seems to take all the background noise out that my microphone and studio don't filter and makes it sound more dynamic. I 'am a walking billboard, telling everyone about how effective it is, how powerful it is, how cheap it is, and how simple it is to use! I just want them to make all my software now!

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Nothing. truly. I have used Zoom, Teams, and Streamyard, among several others. None are as intuitive, or hold a candle to the ease of use or the results I get.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gets me a high quality audio AND video recording, it lets me handle sign ups for my webinar, seamlessly with my automation systems, I had never hosted a webinar before but I was able to use the software easily to get the results I wanted. And the editing tools for both audio and video let me edit visually by text or by audio. I love that I can control the audio for both channels so if someone interrupts the other, I can mute that in post. It prevents me from having to hire a editor to keep my small business and podcast moving forward. Because it also generates images from the podcast and clips for shorts and reels, I'm able to get the free exposure on social media to build interest in the episode before it's released. It's my entire marketing team!

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you are enjoying the superior quality and value of Riverside! It's great to know that our system has been able to provide you with clean audio and video, as well as streamline your editing process. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to have you as a satisfied customer.

 ### 12. Easy, All-in-One Podcast Production with Amazing AI and Recording Quality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew C. | Founder/CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Super easy to use. Proactively solves problems and gives clear, easy-to-follow instructions on how to fix them. An all-in-one podcast production environment so I don't have to have a bunch of different software. Incredibly good quality recordings and the separated recordings of each speaker really helps my editor. The AI is amazing at creating shorts as well as show notes in whatever style you want. Integrates well with other software. And the pricing for everything you get is better than anything I've found out there.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

It doesn't work in Safari. Very minor issue though

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have everything I need for both my podcast and my client's podcasts in one place which makes managing multiple podcasts incredibly easy. I was using a bunch of different software before and struggled to keep everything organized. Now our processes are a lot simpler and easier to execute.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're delighted to hear that Riverside has streamlined your podcast production and provided excellent recording quality. We appreciate your feedback about the Safari issue and will work towards resolving it to enhance your experience.

 ### 13. High-quality podcasting made simple and professional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trent V. | Transportation Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I love how Riverside.fm makes it easy to produce professional-level podcasts and video content, even as a solo creator. The local recording feature ensures crystal-clear audio and video, and the interface is intuitive and streamlined. I also appreciate the ability to invite remote guests without sacrificing quality. It saves me time and helps me create polished episodes consistently.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The occasional syncing issues between video and audio can be a bit frustrating, and sometimes the post-production rendering takes longer than expected. I'd also love to see more customization options for video layouts. But overall, these are minor issues compared to the platform’s overall reliability and quality.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside.fm solves the biggest headache for podcasters and video creators: getting studio-quality recordings remotely. Before Riverside, I struggled with laggy Zoom calls and poor audio. Now, I get high-res audio and video from every guest, even if their internet cuts out during the call. That means less time fixing issues in post, more time creating great content—and a better experience for my audience.

 ### 14. Simple Setup and Clear Recording for Clinic and Teaching Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist and manage a homeopathy clinic. i also do online consultations and create health education and teaching videos, so recording is part of my regular work.

Riverside is simple to start and does not take much setup. I can quickly record videos for patient guidance or diet explanation, which saves time during clinic hours.

For online consultations, I sometimes record small videos to explain routine or diet. The audio and video quality is clear, so patients can understand properly without repeated explanation.

I also find some AI features useful in my work. The thumbnail option helps in creating a proper preview easily, and Magic clips is helpful when I need to take short parts from a longer video for quick explanations. Features like transcription and basic editing also help when needed.

It fits well in my workflow, I can record and directly use the content for patients or teaching. Overall it makes my work easier without making things complicated.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I don’t have any major issues. when I record multiple videos in a day, managing and naming them properly becomes important, otherwise it can take a bit of time to find the exact recording later. It’s not a big problem, just something I noticed during regular use.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my daily work, I have to explain same diet plans and basic instructions again and again to different patients, which takes time and sometimes I have to repeat things.
Riverside helps me here because I can record one simple video and use it again. I just share it with patients, so they can watch and understand better. It also saves my time in daily work.

For online consultations also, it is helpful because patient can watch the video again if they miss something on call, so follow ups become easier.
I also use it for small teaching videos, so I don’t have to explain same topic many times. Overall it makes my work a bit easy and more clear.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Ishan, using Riverside in a clinical and teaching context is such a meaningful use case — really glad the setup felt simple and the recording quality is holding up in that environment. Thanks for sharing!
– Dor from Riverside

 ### 15. Fast, Rockstar Support That Saved My Videos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole P. | Syndicated Columnist | “Kindness is Contagious”, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Their support is FAST! Today I recorded, edited and exported 2 videos then proceeded to delete them before downloading them. After a few minutes of panicking and researching how to fix it, I gave up and emailed customer support. Ken with Riverside was a ROCKSTAR! He found them both and uploaded them to my dashboard without ever once mentioning what a moron move I made. I am a fan for life!

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

It doesn’t play well with Safari so I always have to remember to use my Chrome browser. Also there are some features that aren’t supported yet on the phone app.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a way to record and edit my podcast without any editing experience. Riverside is perfect for that. It’s super user friendly for the non-tech people out there.

 ### 16. My Go-To Platform for High-Quality Podcast Recording

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wes A. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I love how easy Riverside is to use without sacrificing quality. The platform is incredibly intuitive, so I can focus on the conversation instead of worrying about the tech. The recording quality is consistently high, which is critical for a professional podcast, and the editing tools are powerful but still simple to navigate. It saves me a ton of time and makes the entire process, from recording to final cut, feel seamless.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

There’s not much to dislike. Occasionally there’s a minor technical hiccup, but it’s rare and typically resolves quickly without impacting the overall experience.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside solves the challenge of recording high-quality remote conversations without the usual technical headaches. It ensures both audio and video are captured locally, so I don’t have to worry about internet issues ruining an episode. That reliability gives me confidence when recording with guests, and the built-in editing tools streamline my workflow, saving time and allowing me to focus more on creating great content instead of managing production.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Wes, being your go-to platform is something we never take for granted — thank you for the trust and for sharing!
– Dor from Riverside

 ### 17. Easy Editing, Amazing Co-Creator Tools, and Truly Helpful Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** terrence p. | Podcaster, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I absolutely love working with Riverside FM, editing is much easier and if I have a problem I can always use chatbot or talk to a real person, although the chatbot is really good at finding the problem which is another plus for using Riverside. The ease of learning the editing tools and the co creator tools are absolutely amazing! Also having the help videos on YouTube are also really helpful. My overall experience has been great and whatever issues I have there is always a way to help and grow in producing my podcast

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I don’t have a downside to using Riverside, even when I first started and was new to podcasting and didn’t know how to edit, it was a wealth of knowledge on the website and YouTube channel

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has created ways to put my podcast on All my outlets and it has even created a website just for me to share my podcast!!

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Terrence, easy editing + Co-Creator tools + support that actually helps — love that all three landed well for you. That's exactly the experience we want every user to have!
– Dor from Riverside

 ### 18. Feature-Rich but Unreliable and Buggy

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaila S. | Marketing for Small Business, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I like that Riverside makes it really easy to record, edit, and draft copy for final show publishing. I also love that I my Riverside Studio has a dedicated URL, so I'm able to send recording links to my studio guests without having to manually pull unique links.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

While Riverside has a ton of fantastic and incredibly helpful features, I'm afraid it has been incredibly unreliable over my past year of use. The time I've saved with their amazing editing tools and copywriting has been overridden by time spent troubleshooting and fixing things. (Not sure if their R&D team just doesn't exist, or is too busy developing new features without smoothing out existing? This signals too-rapid business growth, so they need to slow down a beat to take inventory.) I have had issues where I go to edit or export tracks, and I'm simply unable to. Imagine spending time recording or editing your episodes then trying to get them to the next stage, and suddenly there's an error! More frustratingly, the software is unclear about the errors, so either A. nothing will happen when it's supposed to, or B. a random error message will appear without further context, so you have no idea how to fix it. It's also impossible to find where all of my uploads live, so I don't know where that media is, and there is no way to better organize it. It is difficult to get a hold of a human through their AI chatbot. And, when I am able to get a hold of a human, it's a 50/50 chance that they will actually fix the problem in a timely manner. When I've asked for partial refunds to at least compensate for a fraction of the time that I've spent having to fix their buggy issues, they just point back to their terms of service, which to me shows that they cannot guarantee their product. Customer support has been lackluster overall. Initial setup of Riverside could have been smoother. There are technical specs that needed to be set up, and there was very little guidance on how to do that. So, I made a lot of mistakes that could have been prevented with simple UI info markers. Because Riverside is so unreliable and buggy, I'm afraid to move my show hosting onto Riverside, even though Riverside has that capability.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Riverside to capture video and audio for my podcast and edit the show. It helps with editing, creating transcripts, chapters, show summaries, and generating episode keywords.

 ### 19. Riverside Makes Podcast Recording and Sharing Simple from Day One

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric P. | Podcast Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside has made podcasting simple and seamless for someone like me who had no experience whatsoever with content creation. We are in our 4th year of making our podcast, and while we had to learn a lot about content, editing, and marketing, the technical side of recording and publishing has been easy from day one. Also, Riverside has added quite a few features in that time, like Magic Clips for example, that make sharing our work even easier.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

A small number of times, downloads did not complete properly for one of our guests. When this happens, the Riverside team is very responsive, and they have always resolved the issue. But these instances can be a bit frustrating because I cannot edit an publish a show with one of the tracks missing.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to make a podcast but had zero experience. I signed up for a Riverside account, and we were able to record and publish a podcast within a few days. There are a lot of challenges with content creation, but Riverside eliminated the ones related to recording and publishing.

 ### 20. Riverside Makes Podcasting Easy—With Outstanding Customer Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

As a non-techie person, Riverside makes my podcast possible for me to do by myself, from everything from the recording to the editing to the putting out to the world. I love, love, love the software.

I also love the customer service. As a business owner, podcaster, YouTuber, and author, I work with a lot of different companies, and Riverside is by far my favorite as far as the software and the customer support.

Thank you so much.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I would like to be able to more efficiently get the perfect thumbnail with the picture I want.

The other point I was going to mention was being able to really efficiently get the "magic clips" that I want, but you sent me a way to do that already. I need to look into that further before I can tell you if it is working for me or not.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only thing I can say about this is that when I have issues, customer support is amazing in terms of their response, kindness, and help in resolving the issues I'm having.

 ### 21. Riverside: User-Friendly, Intuitive, and Always Improving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy W. | Creator, Host and Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside is super user-friendly and intuitive. There are regular updates and improvements that the team communicates well so you know what's new, what's changed or what has been enhanced. I've described it to folks as "Canva for video editing and production."

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I want the Co-Pilot to be more intuitive and for updated transcripts from finished episodes (versus the original, uncut interview) to be available so that time stamping for clips is easier. Giving Co-Pilot timestamps to clip out of a finished episode would be so much easier.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a one-person podcaster, starting to bring in volunteers to help with clipping and editing. Everyone has been able to easily jump in and learn Riverside on their own thanks to its intuitive interfacing and the library of how-to videos.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Riverside user-friendly and intuitive. We appreciate your feedback about Co-Pilot and updated transcripts, and we'll definitely take that into consideration for future improvements.

 ### 22. Easy All-in-One Podcast Recording, Editing, and Posting That Streamlined My Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I really enjoyed the easy to use recording options to kick start my podcast and creator journey. Once I started and saw all of the features I could add on with the pro version, it was a no brainer! Record, edit, and posting all in one - not only saving me multiple login accounts and hundreds in other softwares, but it's streamlined my workflow tremendously. Can't wait to try out going Live with YT too! And my 10/10 to recommend usually comes down to the magic clips - game changing!

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I wish the iPad version had the option to go live on YT. The editor and accessing video recordings are a little wonky and intimidating but once you get the hang of it, it gets better. I also think there are A LOT of features which again can seem overwhelming so sifting through it all takes time when I'd rather just get the work done the way I can in that moment.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving me money with one pro account for recording WITH teleprompter, an editor WITH AI, and ready to post social media generated clips. So much time saved from not having to login to so many accounts and faster editing options.

 ### 23. Let's me be a creator without having to worry about the tech

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel K. | President - CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I like that the way to schedule, set up and record podcast are so simple to set up and guide through.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The only thing I would put out there for improvement is the processing speed when making edits. The translation also would be great to be able to adjust later on during processing (sometimes I forget to change the studio language before recording and then I messed up)

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was not a podcast recorder before I started using Riverside, HOWEVER now I really can focus of creating the content on the fly without stressing about tech stuff. Basically, I discovered a passion for recording podcasts now

 ### 24. High-Quality Edits and a Smooth, Easy Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kip C. | Marketing Architect, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I enjoy using Riverside because the edits are consistently high quality, and the editor is genuinely easy to use. It’s allowed me to create hundreds of short-form videos over the past few months, and the overall workflow feels smooth and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Sometimes it can be slow and lag when working with bigger files. But it doesn't happen often.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They’re making it possible to get high-quality edits in a fraction of the time with their AI tools. In particular, the Improve Audio AI feature is a game changer, since audio is one of the most important factors in creating strong video edits. I also love how easy it is to add captions to videos using their Brand tool.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Riverside! We're glad to hear that you find the edits to be consistently high quality and the overall workflow to be smooth and straightforward. We understand the occasional lag with bigger files, and our team is dedicated to optimizing performance for all users. It's great to hear that our AI tools, such as Improve Audio and the Brand tool for adding captions, are helping you create strong video edits in less time.

 ### 25. Great Platform for Recording High-Quality Podcasts and Interviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura B. | CEO, founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside makes recording podcasts and interviews simple and high quality. I love that it records locally, which keeps the audio and video clear even if the internet connection isn’t perfect. The platform is easy to use, the separate tracks make editing much easier, and it helps streamline the process of recording professional content for podcasts, interviews, and online conversations.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Sometimes the upload or processing time can take a little longer than expected, especially with larger recordings. Occasionally guests who are not familiar with the platform need a little guidance to get set up, but once they are in the studio it works smoothly.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside solves the challenge of recording high-quality remote interviews and podcast episodes without needing expensive studio equipment. It allows creators, businesses, and podcasters to easily record conversations from anywhere while maintaining professional audio and video quality.

 ### 26. All-in-One Podcasting in Riverside: Record, Edit, Schedule, and Publish with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarinah P. | Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I love that I can do EVERYTHING for my podcast all within one platform. I even set up my Youtube/Spotify/Apple Pods right through Riverside. My sister and I host together, and I can connect two mics and a camera, then record, edit, schedule, and post everything all within Riverside. Literally TYSM. Podcasting used to overwhelm me, but that changed once I found it.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I feel like I keep making the same few edits to some of the Magic clips, and it doesn’t always apply my settings when it generates new clips.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It streamlines the entire (overwhelming) podcast recording, editing, scheduling, posting etc experience. I can get EVERYTHING I need from auto transcriptions, on screen captions, tons of multi-platform shortform generative clips (perfect for Reels/Tiktok + Shorts, etc). Lots of editing tools. And the AI tools that I use are super effective, like the audio enhancer, and the button to remove pauses, uhm's, etc.

 ### 27. Streamlined solution for remote video and audio podcasting sessions.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | Sr. Video Editor & Director, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

The browser text based editor has really come a long way in just a short time. We initially selected Riverside just as a recording platform and edited off of the platform but I have to say with the exception of a few tweaks we edit all of our YouTube episodes and 90% of the audio episode right inside the Riverside editor. It's that good. Audio sweetening, color correction, captions, formatting. It's all there and it's snappy and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Live streaming to YouTube and FB isn't always the most intuitive process but some of this is due to limitations of those platforms specifically.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My problem was how to record remote sessions from halfway across the country and keep the quality of the video and audio high. Riverside accomplishes this because I and my guest are both uploading original files within the app during our session. Even if one of us looks a little blurry during the interview I know what they're uploading is a full quality video file for use later. It's extremely convenient and frankly a much better solution than Zoom.

 ### 28. For Anyone Starting a Podcast, Implement Riverside: Easy Magic Clips, Hooks, and Smart Comments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi S. | Content Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I like the ability to easily record a podcast from my home studio with a guest anywhere in the world. I can leave comments in the recording for either myself or my teammate to finesse quickly to become a professional audio and video podcast. As a bonus, I really love the magic clips and hooks feature.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I wish you could create graphic thumbnails, eliminating another step for me in publishing to YouTube or social media.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It speeds up the journey to publishing podcast episodes. I started in late December 2025 recording episodes for the Look Up Mindset. By Feb 4th, 2026, I went live with my 1st episode and had until June 2026 scheduled.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the ability to easily record podcasts with guests from anywhere in the world and that you find the magic clips and hooks feature helpful!

 ### 29. Riverside, My Content Swiss Army Knife

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jermaine W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I like the ease of use for Riverside. I can turn on the camera, go and when it's finished, edit with ease. I've increased my content simply because I don't fear the pain of editing.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I'm not sure what I truly dislike, perhaps I'm annoyed about the live streaming/webinar feature being a whole new plan vs a one off or temporary add on.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed of content production, multi camera angles at an event, uploading and editing on the go from anywhere. Although I do most edits on the computer, I like being about to review the footage from anywhere on any device from the cloud.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Riverside easy to use and that it has increased your content production. We appreciate your feedback about the live streaming/webinar feature and will take it into consideration for future improvements.

 ### 30. Riverside offers services that speed up my work and improve the quality of the content I produce.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peterson T. | I am a consultant working with five different non-profits., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Editing saves time, and the AI tools that generate clips and short reels are decent and keep improving. I appreciate being able to add my clients' branding to videos, and the audio enhancement is awesome. The recording quality is very high, and the videos come out sharp and crisp.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

It is not as good at audio editing. While I now use video in addition to the regular podcasts, the flow of audio for video and audio-only is very different. The editing tools that remove filler words and pauses require extra editing on my part to create the smooth sound I want for the podcasts. Also, it decides what "filler words" are, and I would like the option to add a list of words and phrases that I can flag. For instance, "I think that," "I mean," "And" at the beginning of a sentence. I can, of course, do this through the search function, but that is cumbersome.

The AI assistant that can produce text and thumbnails is just ok. It could be much better. As a result, I either edit a lot of what it suggests or I use ChatGPT or Gemini.

There is another issue I have been trying to bring to Riverside's attention. They are very good at responding to support issues, but I cannot get anyone to respond to this dilemma I have.

Riverside is Israeli-owned, and some of my clients and their guests, because of political reasons, have reservations about working with companies out of Israel. Riverside is not on any of the "boycott" lists, but my clients want assurances that Riverside is not connected with the Israeli government or actions in Palestine. From what I can tell, it is not. It is a good product, and the people running it may hold personal political beliefs, but the platform and the company seem neutral on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

I need to provide more assurances to my clients, but I cannot until I hear from someone in Riverside management. Otherwise, I would have answered the question, "How likely is it that you would recommend Riverside to a friend or colleague?" with a 10.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating fairly accurate transcripts easily. Cloud storage for video. Recording guests remotely.

 ### 31. The Foundational Tool for Our Content-Led Growth & Investor Storytelling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander V. | Founder & CEO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What I value most is how Riverside turns my most valuable asset—my time and expertise—into a scalable, high-fidelity content engine. As a founder, I'm constantly explaining our complex software to investors, potential hires, and early users. With Riverside, I can record a perfect, multi-camera product demo or a technical deep-dive with a co-founder in one take, regardless of our locations. The local recording feature is non-negotiable; it guarantees that every screen share, every line of code, and every nuanced explanation is captured in pristine quality, free from internet glitches. This allows me to produce investor update videos, onboarding tutorials, and community AMA sessions that look professionally produced, without the cost or time of a production team. It's founder efficiency at its best.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

For a resource-constrained startup, the pricing, while justified, sits in a considered tier. The per-host model is perfect for our core content creation, but as we scale, inviting multiple team members as occasional hosts for departmental videos requires planning. A more flexible "guest host" add-on or a modestly priced tier for growing teams would lower the barrier for broader internal adoption beyond the founders and marketing leads.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the critical early-stage challenges of building trust and scaling founder-led marketing. For a technical SaaS product, seeing is believing. A crystal-clear demo video created with Riverside is more effective than a dozen slide decks in moving an enterprise deal forward or securing a follow-on meeting with an investor. It also powers our content-led growth strategy. We repurpose long-form interviews with industry experts into dozens of short, engaging clips for social media, driving organic traffic and establishing our thought leadership. Riverside transforms me from a bottleneck—the only person who can give "the demo"—into a force multiplier, amplifying our message and accelerating our path to product-market fit.

 ### 32. Ensuring Uncompromised Clarity in Medical Communications & Global Trial Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Simon V. | Managing Director, Biotechnology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What I value most is Riverside's ability to capture and preserve critical medical and technical discussions with flawless audio-visual fidelity, which is non-negotiable in our field. We use it to record detailed trainingmodules for clinical trial investigators across different countries, ensuring every protocol nuance and device usage instruction is delivered with crystal-clear precision. The local recording feature is indispensable—it guarantees that a principal investigator in a remote hospital with limited bandwidth is recorded in perfect quality, eliminating any risk of misinformation due to poor connection. We also use it to create authoritative educational content with our key opinion leaders (KOLs), enhancing our scientific outreach.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

For a regulated industry, while theoutput is perfect, the platform could enhance its value with features tailored for compliance. For instance, built-in user authentication for viewers of sensitive training materials, or more granular access controls to restrict content internally, would be beneficial. Additionally, the ability to attach verifiable timestamps or generate automatic transcripts with speaker identification would be a powerful addition for audit trails in clinical training documentation.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the critical problems of training consistency and knowledge preservation in a global, high-stakes environment. Inaccurate training in clinical trials can lead to protocol deviations, impacting patient safety and study validity. Riverside ensures every trainer, regardless of location, delivers information at the same high-quality standard. It also allows us to build a permanent library of expert knowledge from retiring senior scientists and regulatory affairs specialists, turning individual expertise into a durable institutional asset. This directly contributes to regulatory compliance, reduces training costs, and accelerates the onboarding of new clinical sites and staff, ultimately de-risking our path to market.

 ### 33. The Indispensable Tool for Technical Demos, Developer Advocacy, and Clear Idea Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcus T. | Founder & Lead Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What I like best is how Riverside removes all friction from creating high-fidelity technical content, which is core to our developer-focused growth. As a founder who codes, my time is the scarcest resource. I use Riverside to effortlessly record crystal-clear, multi-camera coding sessions, API walkthroughs, and architecture explanations with remote co-founders or early users. The local recording feature is non-negotiable; it guarantees that every line of code on my screen and every nuance of the explanation is captured in perfect quality, independent of internet hiccups. This allows me to produce professional tutorial videos, investor update demos, and communitycontent without needing a production team, saving countless hours and preserving technical authenticity.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

For a technical creator, I'd appreciate more granular control over the audio post-processing. While the default quality is excellent, having access to advanced settings to fine-tune noise suppression or equalization levels would be beneficial when recording in less-than-ideal acoustic environments (like a home office near a busy street). Additionally, native integration with developer tools (likethe ability to push a transcript directly to a GitHub repo as documentation) would be a powerful addition for technical workflows.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the critical early-stage problems of building trust and scaling knowledge transfer. First, for a complex software product, seeing is believing. High-quality demo videos created with Riverside are our most effective sales and fundraising asset, making abstract concepts tangible. Second, it scales my expertise. Instead of repeating the same technical onboarding for every new developer or client, I record it once with Riverside. The separate audio/video tracks allow me to easily create short, focused clips for social media (like TikTok or Twitter) to explain specific features, driving organic interest from our exact target audience. It turns me from a bottleneck into a scalable content engine, crucial for a startup with limited bandwidth.

 ### 34. The Game-Changer for Closing Retailer Deals and Empowering Our Sales Force

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael C. | Sales Director, Consumer Goods, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What I like best is how Riverside turns abstract sales pitches into tangible, compelling experiences that close deals. In the CPG world, getting facetime with key retail buyers is harder than ever. Instead of sending another PDF spec sheet, we now send a crisp, 3-minute video demo of our new product line, recorded with our head chef and R&D lead using Riverside. The local recording feature ensures every detail of the product's texture, preparation, and unique selling points is captured in stunning HD, regardless of where our experts are located. This level of polish and convenience makes our brand stand out in crowded buyer inboxes and has directly accelerated our sales cycle with major retailers.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

For a sales team focused on rapid execution, the platform's primary orientation towards content creators means some sales-specific workflows aren't fully optimized. For example, the ability to quickly add clickable CTAs (like a link to a sample request form or a distributor portal) directly onto the video player for viewers would be a powerful addition. While we can add links in the description, having them embedded would streamline the buyer's journey from interest to action within the same immersive experience.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the critical sales challenges of scale and differentiation. First, Scale: We use Riverside to create a library of standardized training modules for our national sales force and broker network on new product features, rebuttals to common objections, and shelf-merchandising best practices. This ensures consistent, high-quality messaging in the field. Second, Differentiation: Our personalized video proposals cut through the noise. Seeing and hearing our team's passion and expertise builds a level of trust and connection that a static presentation never could. This tool has become indispensable for both arming our internal team and directly engaging buyers, directly impacting our win rate and speed to shelf.

 ### 35. The Scalable Content Engine for Our Product-Led Growth & Customer Advocacy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anika S. | Head of Growth, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What I like best is how Riverside operationalizes and de-risks our entire content production pipeline, which is a core pillar of our Product-Led Growth strategy. We rely heavily on customer success stories, expert webinars, and deep-dive tutorials to drive acquisition and activation. Riverside's local recording guarantees that every interview with a global customer or industry expert yields broadcast-quality audio and video, regardless of their location or connection. This reliability allows us to scale content volume without sacrificing quality—a non-negotiable for maintaining brand authority in the competitive SaaS space. The separate tracks are a growth ops dream, enabling our team to repurpose a single interview into dozens of polished clips for social, email, and our website in a fraction of the time.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

For a growth team focused on scalability and automation, the lack of deeper integrations with our core marketing stack (like HubSpot or our CMS) is a slight friction point. While the output files are superb, automating the upload of final videos to a designated asset library or triggering nurture campaigns based on published interviews requires manual steps. A more robust API or native Zapier/Make.com integrations for workflow automation would perfectly align with the "set-and-forget" ethos we strive for in growth operations.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the critical growth challenge of building trust and authority at scale. In B2B SaaS, prospects need to see and hear from real users. Riverside empowers us to consistently produce high-fidelity social proof (case study videos, podcast testimonials) that converts. It also turns our internal subject matter experts into accessible content creators through easy-to-record tutorials. This stream of quality content directly fuels our top-of-funnel, educates our users (reducing support costs), and builds a community—all measurable drivers that lower our CAC and increase LTV. It's not just a recording tool; it's a scalable asset factory for our growth engine.

 ### 36. The Non-Negotiable Tool for Producing High-Impact Content That Drives Growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex T. | Growth Marketing Consultant, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What I like best is how Riverside directly translates into business growth for my clients and my own practice. As a consultant, my credibility hinges on the quality of my output. Using Riverside, I can effortlessly produce studio-quality podcast interviews with industry experts or detailed case study videos with clients, which serve as powerful social proof and lead magnets. The local recording feature is the cornerstone—it guarantees that every remote conversation is captured in pristine quality, ensuring my final deliverable is never compromised by a poor internet connection. This reliability is priceless when working with high-profile guests.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The pricing model, while justified for the value, requires careful consideration for an independent consultant or small firm managing multiple, fluctuating client projects. The per-seat cost for hosts can add up when I need to run concurrent recording sessions for different clients. A more flexible "pay-as-you-go" credit system or a project-based add-on would be incredibly useful for variable workloads, allowing me to scale usage up or down without committing to a higher fixed monthly seat.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving two core problems: demonstrating tangible value quickly and scaling my influence. For clients, a professionally produced video case study or podcast episode showcasing their success is a tangible asset that fuels their marketing long after my engagement ends. For my own practice, the ability to rapidly create high-fidelity content from any conversation allows me to build a visible library of expertise, attract better clients, and command premium fees. Riverside turns every strategic conversation into a potential growth asset.

 ### 37. All-in-One Podcasting Made Easy, with Responsive Support and a Great Community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I love using Riverside for my podcast! It's super easy to use and I really like how it's an all in one platform. I can record, edit, and host just with using Riverside! No need to buy other software which is super helpful.

Also, the Riverside team is incredible! I've submitted support tickets and they have been super responsive and the answers are well explained reducing the need to go back and forth with the support team.

Also, the community is fantastic!

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Nothing really comes to mind. I feel like they are super open to hearing customer feedback and they release a ton of new features.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I started my podcast, I wanted something that was easy to use and I didn't want to purchase multiple softwares to manage my podcast. Riverside is easy to use and an all in one platform.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying using Riverside for your podcast! Our goal is to provide an all-in-one platform with responsive support and a great community, so we're glad to hear that's been your experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James W. | Digital Strategy Consultant, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What I like best about Riverside is how it elevates the professionalism and impact of our client-facing deliverables. In consulting, our reputation hinges on the quality of our work. Riverside's flawless local recording ensures that every remote expert interview, stakeholder workshop recording, or webinar we produce for a client is crystal clear in both audio and video, without any dependency on participants' internet quality. This reliability is non-negotiable when presenting to C-level executives. The separate tracks also give our production team the flexibility to create polished highlight reels and branded clips that extend the life and reach of our strategic content.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

What I like least is that for a consulting firm that manages numerous client projects simultaneously, the per-host licensing model can become a significant operational expense when multiple consultants need to lead independent recording sessions. While the value is undeniable for key projects, a more flexible team or project-based pricing tier would better align with the variable nature of our workflow.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the critical problem of delivering inconsistent or amateurish multimedia content in a high-stakes professional environment. Before Riverside, remote recordings for client case studies or industry reports were a reliability risk. Now, we offer podcast-style interviews with subject matter experts and polished video presentations as a standard part of our service, enhancing our perceived value. The key benefit is a stronger brand authority and the ability to repurpose deep strategic discussions into marketing assets that attract new business.

 ### 39. The Operational Efficiency Powerhouse for E-commerce Content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah J. | E-commerce Operations Lead, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

What I like best about Riverside is how it streamlines and de-risks our entire content production pipeline. As an Operations Lead, my priority is reliable, repeatable processes. Riverside's local recording guarantees studio-quality audio and video every single time, eliminating costly re-shoots due to internet issues. The separate tracks for each participant save our team countless hours in post-production, allowing us to publish product tutorials and customer testimonial videos faster than ever before. It's a game-changer for operational efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

What I like least is the initial per-seat cost, which requires a clear business case for larger teams. While the ROI is undeniable for our core content creators, expanding access to every team member would need careful budget planning. A more granular, role-based pricing tier could be beneficial for growing companies like ours.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving two major operational bottlenecks: inconsistent content quality and slow production turnaround. Before Riverside, coordinating remote recordings with suppliers and influencers was a logistical headache with unpredictable results. Now, we have a professional, reliable process. The key benefit is scalability—we can now produce a higher volume of high-quality video content for product launches, training, and social media without linearly increasing our time or stress, directly supporting our sales and marketing goals.

 ### 40. Bridging the gap between studio-quality production and high-velocity performance marketing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael R. | Director of Performance Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

In performance marketing, "Creative" is the new targeting. At Velocity Growth Partners, we need high-fidelity video assets that we can rapidly iterate for client campaigns. What I like best about Riverside is its local recording technology. By recording 4K video and uncompressed audio locally on each participant’s device, we eliminate the "Zoom-quality" jitters and low-res artifacts that usually kill a high-spend ad's credibility. The Magic Clips AI is also a significant operational win; it allows my team to take a 45-minute strategic interview and instantly extract 10-12 high-impact vertical shorts for TikTok and Meta ads, drastically reducing our post-production overhead and improving our speed-to-market.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

While the AI-driven text-based editor is revolutionary for quick cuts, it still lacks some of the advanced color grading and multi-layer compositing features found in Premiere Pro. For our high-tier enterprise clients, we often have to export the separate tracks (which Riverside makes very easy via the XML export) to finish the edit externally. Additionally, while the HubSpot integration is great for webinars, I’d like to see more direct integrations with performance tracking tools so we can see which "Magic Clips" are driving the highest conversion rates directly within the Riverside dashboard.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside is solving the problem of "Production Bottlenecks" for our agency. The Impact at Velocity Growth Partners:

Asset Scalability: Before Riverside, producing a high-quality videopodcast for a client required a physical studio or a complex remote setup that often failed. Now, we can record anyone, anywhere, at 4K quality. This has allowed us to increase our monthly creative output by 3x without increasing our headcount.

Enhanced Lead Gen: We use the webinar and "Audience Mode" features to host live sessions that sync directly with our CRM. Because the recording quality is so high, the "re-watch" value of our webinars is much higher, leading to better long-term lead nurturing. It has transformed our video content from a "one-off event" into a library of high-performing, evergreen marketing assets that drive measurable ROI for our partners.

 ### 41. It just works. Every time.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

It does the one thing I need it to do and does it flawlessly. I record a podcast with remote guests and I need high-quality, synced audio and video files on the other end. Riverside nails that every single time. The interface is dead simple, guests never have trouble joining, and I've never lost a recording. I know the platform has a huge feature set beyond what I use, but honestly the core recording experience is so solid that I've never needed to explore further. That's the best compliment I can give a tool: it just works.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Honestly, not much. If I'm nitpicking, I'd love the option to record even higher quality raw files. For a podcast where audio and video quality really matter, having access to less compressed source files would be a nice upgrade. But that's about it. I don't have real complaints because the core experience has been consistently reliable for me.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote podcast recording used to mean choosing between convenience and quality. You could hop on Zoom and get a reliable connection but terrible audio, or you could ask every guest to do a local recording and hope they hit the right buttons. Riverside solves that by recording locally on each end and syncing everything automatically. I get studio-quality files without putting any technical burden on my guests. That means I spend my time on the conversation, not on troubleshooting.

 ### 42. Enhancing Operational Communication with Clear, Actionable Recordings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grayson C. | Facility Management Professional, Facilities Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

My role requires clear communication with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff. What I find most valuable about Riverside is its reliability for recording crucial walk-throughs and inspection meetings. When documenting a building's condition before a major renovation or reviewing safety compliance issues, the local recording feature ensures we have a perfect, uninterrupted record, regardless of spotty Wi-Fi in basements or on construction sites. The high-quality audio is essential for capturing specific details discussed, and the video provides a clear visual reference that is far superior to written notes or blurry phone videos. It creates an indisputable record for our files.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Some of the more advanced editing and AI repurposing features feel less relevant to my core operational needs. The interface, while powerful, can be slightly overwhelming with options geared more toward content marketing. A simplified "documentation mode" with straightforward tools for adding chapter markers, highlighting timestamps for action items, and easily exporting a compressed file for archival would be a more tailored fit for facility management use cases.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside solves the problem of inaccurate or lost information during critical property assessments and contractor meetings. In the past, miscommunications about project scope or condition reports could lead to disputes and cost overruns. Now, we have a definitive, high-fidelity record of every conversation and visual inspection. This benefits us by improving accountability with vendors, providing flawless documentation for regulatory compliance and insurance purposes, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned from the same source of truth, which ultimately protects the company and streamlines operations.

 ### 43. Enabling Professional Client Presentations with Broadcast-Quality Simplicity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophia M. | CEO, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

As a CEO focused on digital transformation, I need to communicate complex cloud and AI solutions with absolute clarity to clients and stakeholders. Riverside has been instrumental in elevating our client demos and internal training. The ability to record flawlessly in 4K video and separate, studio-quality audio tracks means our technical presentations look and sound professional without needing a production team. The "local recording" feature is a game-changer; it guarantees that a poor internet connection on either end never compromises the quality of our final product. We frequently use the AI-powered tools to quickly repurpose a long product demo into short, impactful clips for social media and sales enablement, saving our marketing team countless hours of editing.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

While the core recording and editing tools are excellent, the platform's analytics for published content could be more robust. As a business user, I would like to see more detailed engagement metrics and viewer insights directly within Riverside for the videos and podcasts we host and distribute through the platform. This would give us a clearer understanding of how our content is performing and help us better measure ROI.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside solves the critical problem of scalable, professional content creation for a B2B technology company. Before, creating high-quality demo videos or recorded presentations required either complex, multi-software setups or expensive external agencies. Now, my team and I can produce broadcast-quality explanations of our AI and cloud solutions quickly and reliably from anywhere. This benefits us by accelerating our sales cycle with impressive client assets, improving internal knowledge sharing with clear training videos, and strengthening our brand authority with polished public-facing content—all while significantly reducing our production costs and time.

 ### 44. Riverside Makes Remote Podcast Recording Easy with Stunning Local Quality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon B. | Grant Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside's local, high quality recording is certainly the best feature. It's cost effective and incredibly easy to use. It feels familiar (like Zoom), but has advanced features that set it apart as the ideal for remote podcast recording.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

There's not much to dislike -- I think the editor isn't great, but I'm more of an engineer. It's nice that an editor feature is included for those that are getting started. I also think the AI Co Creator could use some work, but it's not bad.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote podcast recording used to be complicated and expensive. Riverside makes it easy, affordable, and accessible. Even low-tech guests can have a great recording with just a few instructions.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Brandon, "stunning local quality" is such a great way to put it — that local recording architecture is something we're genuinely proud of. Thanks for noticing and for sharing!
– Dor from Riverside

 ### 45. Effortless Podcasting with Riverside: Fantastic Transcripts, Editing, and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarra I. | Manager Marketing Tech, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside is extremely easy to use, and I love the integrations with Google and Gmail. The transcription is fantastic, and the editing tools are straightforward (I’ve never edited a video in my life). As a first-time podcaster, I’ve found this to be a great platform, and it feels like there are endless features to explore.

I’ve also been really impressed by how much the Riverside team tries to support their clients. We’re not just customers to them—or at least, I haven’t felt that way. Even with some of their larger email sends, they still make a real effort to add value every week.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I still haven’t found anything about Riverside that I dislike—if anything, it’s that I no longer have any excuses not to keep scheduling podcasts, recording, and growing my channel. :D

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I didn’t have a platform to record a podcast on, and I’m just starting out. This is the most friendly, easy-to-use platform I’ve found so far. I haven’t run into any challenges; if anything, I learn and grow every time I use it. I truly love it.

 ### 46. Riverside saved my episode!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janis R. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

They saved my interview! I was recording a show with two prominent experts when my connection suddenly failed. The internet tech later discovered that someone had deliberately tampered with my line—crazy. At first I was sure my portion of the interview was gone for good, but Riverside recovered it beautifully. I’m honestly their biggest fan.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Some of the basic features aren’t very clear. For example, it took me a while to figure out how to rename my episodes.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t have to worry about the quality of my guests’ connections, which lets me relax and focus on the interview.

 ### 47. Reliable, High-Quality Recording That Removes Remote Podcasting Friction

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe C. | Council Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside does one thing well—it gives you a reliable system to produce high-quality content without adding operational friction.

The platform is straightforward, the recording quality is strong, and it removes a lot of the typical failure points you see with remote podcasting.

What matters most is consistency. If you're building a podcast as part of a broader content engine or brand strategy, Riverside helps you execute without babysitting the tech every session.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Riverside is a strong tool, but it’s not a complete system—and that’s where most people get it wrong.

1. It doesn’t solve your workflow
Recording is clean. That’s it.

It doesn’t handle:

content planning
guest prep
distribution
repurposing

If you don’t already have a documented content system, Riverside just gives you high-quality raw footage with nowhere to go.

Why it matters:
Raw content without a system doesn’t create enterprise value. It creates backlog.

2. Post-production still requires structure
Yes, it records locally. Yes, quality is strong.

But:

File management can get messy
Editing still lives outside (or requires another layer of tools/process)
Teams without SOPs slow down fast

Why it matters:
Content velocity is what drives ROI—not recording quality.

3. Not built for scale by default
For a solo creator, it’s fine.

For a business building a content engine:

No built-in KPI tracking
No production pipeline visibility
No accountability layer

Why it matters:
Buyers don’t pay for content.
They pay for systems that produce predictable outcomes.

4. Over-reliance risk
Teams start thinking:

“We have Riverside, so we have a podcast system.”

You don’t.

You have a recording tool.

Bottom line

Riverside is a tool, not an asset.

It becomes valuable only when it’s plugged into:

a documented content system
a production workflow
a distribution engine
a KPI dashboard

That’s the difference between:

content that sits
vs
content that compounds value

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside solves a production reliability problem.

Most podcast setups break down in three places:

poor audio/video quality
internet-based recording issues
inconsistent guest experience

Riverside fixes that with local recording + simple remote setup.

1. Problem: Inconsistent recording quality

Before tools like Riverside:

Zoom compression kills quality
Internet lag ruins conversations
Recordings fail or get corrupted

What Riverside does:
Records locally on each device, then uploads.

Benefit:
You get broadcast-level quality without a studio

That matters because:

quality impacts brand perception
poor production lowers authority
bad content doesn’t get reused

2. Problem: Technical friction kills consistency

Most founders don’t stop creating content because they lack ideas.
They stop because the process is annoying.

What Riverside does:

Simple guest links
No complex setup
Minimal troubleshooting

Benefit:
Lower friction = higher consistency

And consistency is what actually builds:

audience trust
content library
long-term value

3. Problem: Remote content is operationally messy

Without structure:

files get lost
recordings are scattered
teams waste time organizing

What Riverside does:

Centralizes recordings
Keeps sessions organized
Standardizes capture

Benefit:
You reduce operational drag

4. Problem: Founders need leverage, not more work

Recording content shouldn’t feel like a production company.

What Riverside does:

Removes the need for in-person studios
Enables remote guest interviews at scale

Benefit:
You can produce more content without increasing complexity

The Real Value (This is what most people miss)

Riverside doesn’t create value by itself.

It creates leverage inside a system.

When used correctly, it becomes the top of your content pipeline:

Record once
Repurpose into 10–20 assets
Distribute across channels
Drive inbound + authority

That’s where the ROI is.

Bottom line

Riverside solves:

quality
reliability
friction

And that benefits you by enabling:

consistent execution
scalable content production
stronger brand positioning

But the real return only shows up when it’s tied into:

a documented workflow
a repurposing engine
a distribution strategy

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about Riverside. We appreciate your insights on the strengths and limitations of the platform. Your perspective on the need for a complete content system and the importance of post-production structure is valuable for us to consider for future improvements.

 ### 48. High-Quality Streaming with Minor LinkedIn Scheduling Hiccup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daria R. | Team Architect, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I like that Riverside helps me create high-quality videos, no matter the Internet connection. The platform provides clips, transcripts, and allows me to schedule live events. I appreciate having recorded conversations all in one place, so I don't have to jump from one resource to another. I can make clips and go live directly on Riverside. What I like best is the high-quality video I get as a result.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I cannot streamline on two LinkedIn profiles. That's a challenge. It's also not very intuitive, and I sometimes made mistakes in scheduling events without a picture or without the right description.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside helps me go live and record high-quality video, providing transcripts and clips for editing. It works well regardless of internet connection, allowing me to schedule live events and keep everything in one place.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Riverside, especially regarding the high-quality video and the convenience of scheduling live events. We understand your frustration with the limitations on LinkedIn streaming and the scheduling issues. We're committed to addressing these concerns and enhancing the user experience for all our customers.

 ### 49. Overpriced compared to the competition

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brady M. | Founder, CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

The software is good, when it works; however, our team has had problems with some of the features not always working properly.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

We ended up spending $20,000 to produce 15 YouTube videos with this service. After a year and a half, we found that it was too much for what we need. We tried working with the company to downgrade to a more suitable plan for our small business, but they were unwilling to work with us. Their contract has absolutely no “out” clause, so they can strong-arm you into staying.

In a year, we’ve had 3 different account managers. Perhaps the way they treat customers who have spent quite a large sum of money with them, is also how they treat their team internally.

We CANNOT recommend them.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside is like many other online interview / meeting software.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand your concerns and will review our pricing and contract policies to ensure they align with the needs of our customers.

 ### 50. Seamless Podcast Production with Riverside

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beth B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I love how Riverside is the most user-friendly platform I could imagine. It's easy to navigate, record, invite guests, and edit. I like the ease of editing the most because it's very simple and perfect for a novice podcaster like me. Riverside being so easy means it takes less time to get things done, with virtually no learning curve, so I can hop right in without feeling like I'm learning an entirely new software. The initial setup is beyond easy with a simple login and sending invites to other users, making it absolutely perfect for getting our podcast off the ground and running.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

N/A

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside is user-friendly, making podcast recording, guest invitations, and editing straightforward. It saves time with a simple setup, requiring little learning curve, perfect for novice podcasters.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you find Riverside so user-friendly and easy to navigate! We designed our platform with simplicity in mind to make podcast production as seamless as possible.
