As Director of Risk, I have found RiskSmart to be a highly effective platform for making risk reporting clearer, sharper, and more useful for senior oversight. RiskSmart is now embedded into our BAU risk reporting to the Executive Committee and has been brilliantly received. It enables senior leaders to quickly pinpoint and focus on what matters most, particularly risks that are outside of appetite and need attention, escalation, or action. The reporting is one of the best I had seen for risk reporting by the leadership team, which reflects the value RiskSmart has brought to our governance approach. RiskSmart is highly intuitive and simple to use. The look and feel of this cloud-based system is love at first sight (I have been unimpressed and frustrated with every established big bank GRC system I have used prior to this as they were clunky and complicated). I would highly recommend it to anyone as it has gorgeous UI UX and a customer support network that cares and are with you at every turn. I have over 20 years of experience in the field of ORM within financial institutions, and I haven’t come across a more user-friendly and flexible system for managing risk. The reporting module should be enhanced with AI capability. Other AI tools I’ve seen in other systems provide control-gap red flags and suggested actions to improve risk and control ratings. RiskSmart has powerful functionality with a clean and simple end user experience. Making risk management understandable and valuable for business users can be challenging but RiskSmart enables end users to derive tangible benefit from time they spend engaging in the RM process and the RiskSmart platform. Although we are a relatively new customer, I can already see that RiskSmart can accelerate a proactive risk management culture and embed understanding of risk management fundamentals across all lines of the business. What do you dislike about RiskSmart? This is not a dislike but it a consideration for end users. RiskSmart is flexible and scalable so establsih a strategy to help shape the system to your needs. It doesn't have to be detailed but deciding on the best approach for your company needs important. The support team are great and will be there to offer support and ideas of how outcomes can be achieved but understanding your priorities and goals will support the initial set up and deployment. RiskSmart is bringing together siloed risk management and complaince processes and controls. The system adds value across the reporting lines and provides oppportinity for metrics and data we have never been able to produce historically. The platform is very user friendly and intuitive. It allows us to manage our risks more effectively, as well as makes reporting much easier. Customer service is great. Quite a lot of adjustments and customisations had to be made when we started to use the platform, and RiskSmart team was very helpful during this faze, and also when we needed other help with the platform after that. RiskSmart is an excellent tool to manage a wide variety of risk management requirements. Although we are in the early stages of our intergration, the platform allows us to give our risk managers a comprehensive and easy to use view. Any issues we have encountered, the team are on hand and happy to help us resolve. We have been able to customise sections of the platforum to suit our needs, and the team take all feedback for improvements onboard. There isn't anything specific I would say I dislike. All feedback is taken onboard and they are happy to say what is/isn't possible interms of there developement plans.
