The Rise system allows us to deliver multiple messages. It can be updated daily if events require it. I've had a need for support. It has worked fine. Suborganization branches allow groups to maintain collections of displays under the larger schoolwide umbrella, and teachers can have control over the display in their room, so schools who may have used Covid relief funding for remote learning displays in classrooms now have another option for using that hardware. The video player has a small footprint and can acccommodate a range of host devices, and if you have a stock of older managed Chromebooks, there's no better application for these than as sign-players. It has become an everyday tool for our school community and easily be implemented in stages with a core display set serving as the backbone and smaller groups branching out when ready. The system also allows for the use of emergency management apps to use the CAP protocol to deliver information to the displays to support the management team's efforts in securing the school. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** Everyone would like products to have lower pricetags, but Rise Vision is a good value purchase with options for pricing per display to get started and very good terms for a site license for unlimited displays. Competitors ofter more features and options but at a price point that is way out of our league. Rise Vision gives us all the features we need at the fraction of the cost of some competitors. Rise Vision's simplicity and ease of setup has a tradeoff. There are times when we'd like to use older displays that can't provide a full 16:9 "letterbox" experience, and it can be tricky to find workarounds in order to display the whole slide or screen, but this is a temporary problem using old equipment, and most recent video gear or computing platforms will easily handle the required 16:9 aspect ratio. **What problems is Rise Vision solving and how is that benefiting you?** Visual communication allows for more modalities for messaging. Images and animation grab attention more effectively than text alone. Rise Vision helps us reinforce our messaging in communicating our mission, community news and events, and is an outlet for student creativity when you give them the controls. Let's start with the ability to have such a cast number of templates for so many different subject areas. The ability to integrate Google into the presentations, the ease when it comes to having multiple screens all with different signages going on. The ability to contact customer support and not onyl get a reply quickly, but the needed knowledge to complete your task you are seeking help on. The eas of use when it comes to cross platform use, so no matter where you are you can change signage and display information with little/no issues arising. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** The least favorable thing about Rise is accessability to their software that creates their templates for end users. There should be a way that the program allows users to work within their templates easier. I would think that this would also allow Rise to have a greater ability to create user templates as there would be a potential for using end user creations and share them to all. **What problems is Rise Vision solving and how is that benefiting you?** I would like the end user ability to learn how to do some of the unique aspects the Rise team does with their signage templates. Other than Canva, is there a program they could offer that could help create athletically pleasing signage. I have a google calendar displayed with our district calendar so that all events are constantly scrolled as well as a large area used for a photo gallery. Everyone seems to respond well to the imagery we constantly display and change out. For my purposes, Risevision does the job well. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** Overall, I don't have a lot of negative things to say about Rise Vision. I run it on a Chromebox in my school lobby and once we understood how best to configure it has been a snap to use. As with all products there are little things that would make it better. When viewing presentation in editor it would be nice images are listed if it provided a thumbnail. This would make it much easier to determine which items I want to quickly delete. Premade K-12 digital signage templates!? and separate teacher user accounts!? The premade K-12 templates of Rise Vision that integrate our school colors help expedite the process of meeting digital signage deadlines for the numerous daily events and holidays. We have 7 TVs that we frequently use and are up every school day. Plus, THEY MOVE! The templates are pretty, and like gifs, so they move around and make you look at them. Hundreds of templates to work with, weather, lunch menus, crosswords, and everything a school needs. I was glad the integration was easy since they also work with Google Slides, and you can upload images; since we didn't want to recreate the wheel, this was a fast solution to help us not lose the old content from the other platform. Our media specialist has a calm mind when we allow teachers to have their own separate accounts so they can manage their own content without messing up anyone else's work and schedules within the platform. There are numerous ways to do the same thing within the platform so you won't lose what you are currently working on. For example, if you add a new TV, other than leaving and going all the way to the home page, there is a setting you can assign that displays on the same page you were on to whatever users or schedule you want. The digital signage kiosk display boxes we got from them were free with the unlimited accounts license. They were super easy to set up, and I have yet to experience any issues with them; they were really plug-and-play. The training was easy to book, and support always replied in a timely matter. One of them even video chatted with me when we couldn't figure out what setting was wrong on my TV (not even their product), and he spent the time patiently troubleshooting with me, and it ended up being that the HDMI wasn't compatible with the TV itself. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** Since you can do the same thing on most of the pages within the platform, that may cause confusion when first starting to use the platform. It does get more manageable when you realize that you can do much of the same things on whatever step you are when creating a new template or adding a schedule. **What problems is Rise Vision solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps us expedite and communicate with students and parents faster. It helps keep the attention of students more than a plain picture. It's very easy to use, it's easy to delegate and allow others to take ownership of their own monitors/content. I love being able to use HTML embed code as well. When I finished my first few slides, the finished product made me look like a professional. The templates are polished and easy to work with so they can fit your school and what you are trying to do. It integrates with our Google Workspace for log in and sharing of documents for display. The people are responsive and open to discourse. It was already on the campus when I joind the team. I was able to figure it out with ease. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** There is not a specific dislike but a suggestion. I would like the Rise app to talk to Facebook somehow. 95% of the content I place on RISE I also place on Facebook. **What problems is Rise Vision solving and how is that benefiting you?** The message that goes out is universal.
