The only negative I've experienced with the platform was unclear and outdated documentation. While trying to locate a lost device, the documentation presented a map with a more precise view, but that applied only to devices registered as supervised in Apple Business Manager, and the documentation failed to make that limitation clear. So far there isn't anything I dislike about Rippling, just a few things have a steeper learning curve due to how granular you can customize the settings and policies. This will be a great thing once I have a more in-depth understanding of the nuances of the system, but I did create a few issues for myself by playing around with the settings for certain apps that impacted the rest of the company. For the Password Manager, the security features stand out most to me—especially the built-in 2FA support and the encryption. They give me confidence that my credentials (and the company’s) are genuinely protected, not merely stored. The browser extension has some quirks. Occasionally, it doesn't auto-detect login fields correctly, or I have to refresh the page for it to prompt me to save or fill in credentials. After switching from other HR platforms, Rippling stands out for the level of control it gives administrators to make changes quickly and confidently. The platform is genuinely intuitive, every tab, page, and data point feels thoughtfully organized, which keeps workflows moving and has saved me hours I didn't expect to get back.

The integrations with benefits and 401(k) were seamless, and the Rippling teams supporting those integrations have been responsive and great to work with.

Payroll has been a gamechanger. The ability to approve in real time and prepare well in advance of each pay run has dramatically cut down the time I spend on processing, a significant improvement over my previous platform.

On pricing, I appreciated the transparency. Everything is broken out clearly, so I know exactly what I'm paying for rather than trying to decode a bundled total. That kind of straightforwardness goes a long way.

Overall, Rippling has delivered on its promises, and then some. The AI chat feature resolves questions immediately, which means no more calling an 800 number, sitting on hold, and ultimately being told someone will "look into it." That alone is worth the switch. Rippling can not handle benefits for our employees (10) without many errors even though they are our broker. They offer no support to make the corrections for the errors they create. They want to charge us for us to make corrections. So now as a small company we will pay for the differences in benefits that they failed to do correctly and we will make the changes to the previous 10 payrolls so that the end of year reports are correct. We will have to do a monthly reconciliation of all benefit costs for each individual...we could not do this if we had more than 10 employees but this is a workload we did not plan for. I've found that Rippling's best value is that it is everything in one place. If I was to nitpick, it would be this- As Rippling is constantly adding new features/integrations/etc, navigating the platform can occasionally feel somewhat overwhelming for users who may only need to access a small subset of the overall functionality.

Support is awesome and the product is very robust. The company is innovative and seems to be focused on how to continually improve the product. In the payroll platform, it would be a huge help if we could rearrange the data columns. As it is now, it leads to a lot of unnecessary scrolling and makes it harder to view what I need at a glance. I also wish there were integrations with more background check providers. On top of that, an integration with Bullhorn would be a game changer for staffing clients. There are a lot of things about Rippling that are “great,” but what really sold me was how easy it is to have every part of the HRIS in one platform. Because it uses a native programming language, each part of the system can “speak to” the others, which creates a seamless user experience. You can see this everywhere, from reporting to something as simple as resetting passwords. With past platforms, we ran into constant issues getting certain pieces of data to work together, and it ended up wasting a lot of our time. Rippling feels like a much better way to move forward. I'm still learning a lot about the system, but every day I find a new feature that is more exciting than the previous. I just found an HR Ticketing System in the App Creation Lab, and this was something we were preparing to purchase as a standalone software, but now we can use Rippling to track employee issues/questions, and how we're responding as a team! So far, the most annoying part of Rippling is the ads. My entire life seems like it's made up of advertisements, and I was hoping not to see those in Rippling, but I've started to notice that almost every time I login, there's a new banner ad for a different Rippling feature. I'm not opposed to learning about the ways we can enhance our system, but putting an ad right in the front and center of the platform is not something I'm thrilled about, and my employees are not going to want to see that, either. I'm hoping I can have that removed and will be reaching out to our support person to see about that soon. Other than that, I'm really happy!
