In terms of performance, the speed and availability of the site in the browser and the app are pretty good, as I have yet to experience downtime. However, for complex reporting and data requirements, you will find some very basic, common fields that are found in other off-the-shelf HRIS missing here. **What do you dislike about Rippling?** I strongly advise against using this product for India-based teams. It is built entirely for the US market, resulting in a poor user experience for Indian employees. The implementation process traps you into using their mandatory vendor partners. You cannot run payroll unless you sign up with their bank, and the benefits module will not work unless you use their chosen insurance provider. They do not disclose these forced partnerships until the contract is signed. Furthermore, the compliance module is highly unreliable. They botched our EPFO entries on the first payroll run and have failed to fix them despite months of escalation. I truly believe that things like my social security number is safe, which took some time for me because I'm always skeptical about putting such personal and crucial information online and in plain access. With past platforms, we ran into constant issues getting certain pieces of data to work together, and it ended up wasting a lot of our time. Rippling feels like a much better way to move forward. It's too much to go into here, but we were not getting what we needed. With Rippling, I have SO much control over our reports and data, it's been overwhelming! The ability to drill down into almost every piece of data that we have in the system is helpful on a daily basis. Then, having a support team with two different specialists is something that has been a game changer in the amount of time we're spending on the system. For example, our previous platform wanted us to pay an additional $25k/year to have a dedicated support person, but with Rippling, we have TWO support persons, and don't pay anything extra! ### 43. I like that Rippling has workflows available so that we are able to automate as much as possible. **What do you dislike about Rippling?** I dislike that workflows cost additional money. I also don’t like how unclear it is what’s included and what isn’t. Rippling is sold as an all-inclusive solution, but we often don’t find out that a key advertised feature isn’t included in our package until late in the process. I wish there were free access to the API so we could build our own solutions when Rippling doesn’t offer something, or when it’s too expensive. I hate that Rippling charges for this, especially since it creates extra work for us. Ever since I started using it, it has completely changed the game in payroll. No software has the same capabilities with the smooth and easy to use interface. I do not dive much into their AI intelligence but I know they make sure they have every capability for their users. I truly enjoy their platform and I think it is the best on the market. Sometimes with the authentication I may get stuck there for a second. When you click on the pay period, the type is so small it's unreadable and you cannot zoom in to see important pay breakdowns or other key details unless you download the PDF.
