The system is very self-service. Each year at open enrollment, our team had to enter all benefits details and build out the full user experience ourselves, with minimal implementation support.

When we decided to move to another HRIS/payroll vendor, Rippling informed us that access would be cut off on the last day of the contract and would not allow a transition period to retrieve stored documents.

Our new vendor, on the other hand, expedited implementation and had us running payroll within four weeks.

The only service we kept with Rippling was their spend/credit card platform, which charges a fee simply to be on the platform (unlike many other vendors). Similar to our HRIS experience, the account management approach felt very sales-driven.
