We were able to explore new feature such as the performance review, 9box, LMS and others. It was great to see how Rippling presents those features. Some of them were not exactly what we expected so we decided to switch, but it was still interesting to still learn more about the platform. The performance review module is one of my favorite. Easy to set up, adjustable and customizable. Every time we needed assistance from the Rippling team, they were there for us as well, it was easy to communicate with them. The 9box-calibration module would be something, it is very different from what we are used to seeing in the marketing, seemed a bit confusing. Something that is very important is that in the performance review, the master admins can see the everything *of course*, however, it means they can see how people evaluated them. There should be something that could be done about that. I understand they are master admins, and by being one, I believe we shouldnt be able to see that specific information. The experts that helped me set up the tool were super knowledgeful. The policies are simple to set up, and we were able to create "workaround" policies that were specific to our complicated approval process. The tool isn’t strict enough with receipts. I had an employee who was able to upload 10+ receipts to a single expense, and I wish it would have automatically kicked that back and required her to submit them one by one. Also, while this is more specific to our company than the tool itself, we use a different accounting platform and I wish it could integrate with Rippling Spend. Rippling is comprehensive in its product offering and I believe it is the best HRIS on the market. That being said, the best thing about Rippling is the support team. I can't say enough about how great the support and implementation team is. They definitely go the extra mile when it comes to assisting with launching the product in order to tailor the features to your organization. They are responsive, patient, and incredibly resourceful. I like that Rippling is connected to nearly all of my company's tools! It syncs to our training system, project management tool, and our financial apps with ease. My current process has been to manually apply employee deductions and 401k amounts. I'm so excited to use Rippling to make that process easier and quicker. The self-implementation was a key factor to our success with Rippling. We were able to do it at our own pace while still getting support from the Rippling team. The downsides I've found are when you're in the implementation phase, you cannot use the chat feature for help. You must connect via email with your implementation manager. Which is great for most options, but for smaller issues I wish I could've used a chat function. An item I've seen in the contract but haven't encountered yet is that whatever headcount for employees you sign up for for that contract term, that's the lowest number you can have for the term. So, if you sign a contract for 25 employees, and you lose 5 employees, you would still be paying for 25 employees until the term is up. I wish there was a prorating system in place of this. What I like best about Rippling Spend is how simple it makes tracking and submitting expenses. Everything is in one place, so I can easily see transactions, upload receipts, and monitor approvals without confusion. This product provides a selection of modules that can be mixed and matched according to your needs. It takes care of payroll, taxes, all the necessary forms, expenses, and even manages credit cards. There were some glitches in the past, but those have now been resolved. I did notice a few minor limitations when attempting to fix system-generated glitches, which, upon reflection, is understandable. Since the forms were created automatically, any changes would also have been applied automatically, so resolving these issues required a rather lengthy workaround. I like the interface of Rippling Spend; it's pretty easy to understand. The help tooltips are also something I like, as they helped me navigate through tasks without needing to ask HR questions.
