## Rippling Finance Reviews
  ### 1. Subpar System, Very DIY and High-pressure Sales Tactics

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

Nothing. Unlike every other credit card/spend vendor we have, Rippling charges you just to have an account with them.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

The system is very self-service. Each year at open enrollment, our team had to enter all benefits details and build out the full user experience ourselves, with minimal implementation support.

When we decided to move to another HRIS/payroll vendor, Rippling informed us that access would be cut off on the last day of the contract and would not allow a transition period to retrieve stored documents.

Our new vendor, on the other hand, expedited implementation and had us running payroll within four weeks.

The only service we kept with Rippling was their spend/credit card platform, which charges a fee simply to be on the platform (unlike many other vendors). Similar to our HRIS experience, the account management approach felt very sales-driven. Despite multiple conversations where we clearly declined expanding our credit card usage, the same questions continued to come up.

After I directly communicated that we were not interested and did not appreciate the pressure, we were asked to attend an “urgent” meeting regarding a supposed risk issue. Ultimately, there was no actual risk. This was just another attempt to revisit expansion conversations.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing. It's just a credit card and expense management platform like all the others.

**Official Response from Annacy Sampas:**

> Hi there -- thanks for flagging this to us. We're sorry that your experience with Rippling didn't live up to expectations. ### 2. Simplified Expense Tracking with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel L. | Alumni and Member Care coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

I love using Rippling for tracking expenses, uploading receipts, and requesting reimbursements because it makes these tasks incredibly easy and accessible. The process is so straightforward and quick, saving me valuable time. Additionally, Rippling simplifies viewing my time off and departmental spending, which is a significant advantage in managing my work responsibilities. The interface is a standout feature for me; it's intuitively designed, with clear menus and categories that facilitate access to necessary information smoothly. Compared to other platforms I've experienced, Rippling's interface makes finding information effortless by having well-organized drop-downs and menu buttons that appear when needed. This clarity leads to a more efficient workflow, allowing me to locate and record the information I require without frustration. The transition to Rippling has been a positive change for our team, especially after using other tools like Google Forms, as Rippling has enhanced usability and efficiency across our staff. Moreover, the initial setup was simple, adding to its overall efficacy as a valuable tool in our work environment.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Sometimes when I'm uploading receipts, there seem to be excessive or different looking menus that pop up instead of taking me directly to the same screen every time. Depending on which part of the receipt recording I click on, the navigation experience can be inconsistent and disruptive.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling simplifies expense tracking, receipt management, and viewing time off, with a user-friendly interface that enhances accessibility and speed for managing my departmental logistics.

**Official Response from Annacy Sampas:**

> Hi Rachel! Thanks for leaving a review of Rippling! We're so glad you're enjoying Rippling Spend and we're taking back your feedback to our team. It seems like your 1-star rating may not fully reflect the positive experience you've shared in your written review. If this was unintentional, we’d be grateful if you could update your rating to better align with your written experience, as your feedback helps others discover Rippling and supports our ongoing efforts to improve. Thanks again!

  ### 3. Dishonest Sales People

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas W. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

Rippling has a large amount of features, though most simply do not work. The workflow editor is nice, however that app also has a ton of bugs.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

The sales people are incredibly dishonest. Being generous, 50% of what the sales person told was true. Additionally, while they say you can get a support person to help you within 2 minutes, most of the time that person cannot actually assist you, and they need to create a support ticket which takes months to resolve. Once your issue gets move to email support the company is incredibly disorganized and Rippling's internal communication is horrendous.

The migration process, which they say they handle, takes over 100 hours of the user's time to implement.

What they tell you is included in your price usually is not, and they want more money to give you the basics of what they promised during the sales calls.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payroll

**Official Response from Annacy Sampas:**

> Thank you for your feedback, Nicholas. We’re committed to continuous improvement, and feedback—positive or negative—is an important part of that process. A member of our leadership team is reaching out to you regarding this feedback. We are committed to actively working with you to ensure a successful partnership with Rippling.

  ### 4. Unusable product. No support. Lots of Down Time.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian B. | Director, People and Culture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

The marketing page and website showcases interesting integrations that seem quite promising when considering Rippling as an option.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

1. Awful Support stucture. I don't have customer success contact, so every question needs to go to the support chat. The first level of support is unable to answer business-specific questions, so every chat needs to turn into a ticket. Each ticket then takes 24-72 hours before I receive a response. The response is usually, if not always, the result of someone clarifying the problem instead of offering solutions. The offshore support team hasn't been able to provide a solution to any specific questions. I feel constantly stuck in a game of phone tag and misunderstanding.
2. Sales team lacks knowledge. This is the type of company that says whatever they need to say in order to close a deal. That person will neither be around nor helpful to solve problems after the contract has been signed. Nor will anyone else.
3. Bad UI. Nothing is intuitive
4. Rippling is not set up to service an international company with any level of scale.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My hope would be that Rippling could help with US and international payroll.

**Official Response from Annacy Sampas:**

> Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. We’re committed to continuous improvement, and feedback—positive or negative—is an important part of that process. We know your Account Manager is in touch and actively working with you to ensure a successful partnership with Rippling.

  ### 5. Frustrating Implementation

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

the lack of support makes everything I mentioned previously not work smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Rippling needs to train its support team

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time it takes to complete administrative duties.

**Official Response from Annacy Sampas:**

> Hi there -- thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback on Rippling. We're very sorry that your implementation experience with Rippling didn't meet expectations. As this review did not leave contact information, we're unable to contact you directly to inquire further or resolve any support tickets. ### 6. Worst HR system ever: overpromises & underdelivers

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie L. | HR Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

The one positive: their ATS works well — clean interface, easy to use, and it made recruiting easier. But let’s be honest — you don’t choose an HRIS for the ATS alone.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

I really wanted to like Rippling, but after over a year of using it, I can confidently say it caused more headaches than it solved. On paper, it sounds like a dream: one platform to manage everything HR and IT. In practice? Constant bugs, poor customer support, and features that almost work — but not quite.

We ran into frequent sync issues with payroll, benefits setup that never quite worked right, and random glitches that made it impossible to trust the system without double-checking everything manually. It felt like we were paying for a beta version.

The worst that happened was around payroll: they were never able to provide our official tax forms. We ended up having to bring in (and pay for) an external firm to get them done properly — which completely defeats the purpose of using a payroll platform.

Support was no help at all. They clearly didn’t understand payroll and gave us vague, copy-paste responses that showed zero ownership. When you’re dealing with compliance and people’s pay, you need a team that knows what they’re doing and actually cares. Unfortunately, Rippling failed us on both fronts.

Support was hit-or-miss at best — long delays, unclear answers, and often no real resolution. When you’re managing people and pay, you can’t afford guesswork or tech that breaks without warning.

We’ve since moved on to another system, and honestly, it’s been a huge relief.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None.

**Official Response from Rebecca H:**

> Upon receiving this review, our team promptly reached out to the customer to better understand their concerns and offer support. While we regret that the customer’s experience did not meet expectations, we remain committed to continuously improving both our product and the clarity of our global support.

  ### 7. Major Functionality Failures & Unfair Billing Practices

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

they offered a non-profit discount, but that is all that is good about them

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Product failures caused payroll delays and inaccurate part-time hours. Rippling failed to file required state wage reports, resulting in penalties. QuickBooks integration for expenses and credit cards doesn’t work. Highly problematic service for organizations needing reliability and transparency. Unfair billing based on max seats that can never decrease ("As per your contract, you start with a specific number of seats. These seats are calculated based on the Billing Type designated for each subscription. If during the contract you increase the number of minimum seats by hiring new employees, you are signaling a change in your seat count minimum and your monthly payment will increase based on the seat counts added.").

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for payroll, Accounts payable and employee expenses. It does none of these well. We switched when we outgrew Gusto, but I really regret going with them. Payroll glitches every other month. Our state wage report was not filed and we got fined. They said there was no limits for transaction amount - but they will not do payments over $500k on a regular basis

**Official Response from Annacy Sampas:**

> Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. We’re committed to continuous improvement, and feedback—positive or negative—is an important part of that process.

As this review is anonymous, we’re unable to reach out directly, but we’d welcome the opportunity to learn more about your experience and address your concerns. ### 8. Better options out there

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

Interface is user friendly, visually appealing website.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Limited capabilities for tracking multiple accruals for time off.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It continues to provide paychecks but I haven't found many benefits over other software's personally.

**Official Response from Annacy Sampas:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us on G2. We appreciate all feedback, both positive or negative, as it helps us improve our products. We're glad to hear that our payroll and interface works well for you and will pass back your feedback on our time off accruals. Thanks again for your feedback,

  ### 9. Stay away - features promised, but nothing works

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ela H. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

nothing, I don't understand the good reviews and sales team promised all these features which don't work

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

The onboarding team sits off shore and does not work Pacific time, this makes onboarding take extremly long as emails don't get answered till the next day. One of the main reasons we wanted to move is that they integrate with employee navigator, but that integration does not work well. We have been with Rippling for a month and will probably just move back to our old system.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

they were supposed to be used for HR, expense management and A/P, but the experience has been terrible, so it's not benefitting us

**Official Response from Rebecca H:**

> After receiving this review, our team audited the account and reached out to the client. It was determined that one of the issues stemmed from an incorrect product subscription listed in the contract, which prevented the successful setup of Employee Navigator. Once the issue was identified, the team worked closely with the client to complete onboarding, successfully launch payroll, and ensure they had the necessary tools to set up Employee Navigator

  ### 10. Better then the last 3 HR software we have used.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Udayan M. | Logistics Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

✅ Time-Saving – Made payroll (and life!) much easier.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

It does not take screenshots, It would have been best if it took screenshots.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It a very good app for HR management, it helps us to track attendance & payroll

  ### 11. Falls short expectations for anything beyond the basics

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carin P. | People Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

Ripplings payroll is nice in that you can see where there are discrepencies between previous pay runs.

The timecard feature is easy to review.

There is some reporting that has been valuable.

Their AI is good and when you talk with an agent in the chat they are helpful most of the time.

I really like Mineral but the integration isn't very helpful

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

1. Too many customer service reps to count and all of them are focused on selling
2. Implementation was a nightmare and we had to do it twice because they overpromised on a feature that they couldn't actually support (and this was not caught until launch day)
3. When you launch it takes weeks for the time off to accrue correctly and you have to manually catch what is wrong
4. Reduced FTE features are poorly thought out and disconnected
5. Managers can't see time off balance in the time off request module so they have to go to a separate section to view the employees balance
6. Any semi-complicated reports cost extra
7. Any automation / notifications cost extra
8. Employee's don't have access to the support chat unless you hack it and make them "admins" which means that all employee support needs come to HR
9. Flex balances and HR enrollments are routinely wrong and there is no pattern or reason that it's wrong
10. Any errors take weeks to fix
11. Their task list in your dashboard is often showing random tasks that are not applicable to you and require investigation

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling was supposed to solve merging our entities under one view, minimizing errors that our old system Gusto used to constantly have and automaing workflows. It actually has fallen short of all expectations.

  ### 12. Bait and switch from sales process on

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison B. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

Seems like it has good features; the HRIS foundation is unique

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

The sales process feels very deceptive. I had three separate meetings and demos to assess the product and meet with other stakeholders, to assess transitioning to the HR and Spend modules. Once it was determined that HR would not be transitioning, all conversations with Rippling ceased. We also never received any communication about the free product promised us for demo-ing the product after months, which is consistent with many other comments online.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None at the moment.

**Official Response from Annacy Sampas:**

> Upon receiving this review, our team reached out to Allison directly to review their experience with our Sales team and sent the prospect the form for the free Stanley Tumbler we were offering for a demo. The customer has not responded to our outreach.

  ### 13. Bait and switch

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

It has some automated onboarding if you can figure out how to use it.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Very counter intuitive interface. Very limited customization for even basic HR functions. Very expensive and poor implimentation. CS stinks - no phone access, just some bot and then when you ask for a human are transfreed to someone in India who doesn't know anything. Constanty being upsold for products which, again, don't have basic functionality. Bait and switch sales process.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding, pyroll, compliance, LMS.

  ### 14. Terrible solution, worse customer service

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon W. | Director of Enterprise Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

Nothing, Rippling is a cheap solution with non existant resources or support.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Rippling is a cheap solution with non existant resources or support. Claims denied, no resources to contact to help.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling is trying to offer HR management, however, their solution is terrible. There are no resources to help employees manage items on their own, there is no customer service or support to help and any claim or submission is ultimately kicked back to the administrator who has now knowledge of and can not solve the issue. This process ultimately causes way more work for the company admin to try and solve, but again very limited resources to help the admin support or solve the problem. The backlog of unresolved items take months and create more and more unnecessary work for admins and employees.

  ### 15. Nightmare experience with Rippling as a Startup CEO

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

The concept of using an all-in-one solution for US employees and Global employees was compelling. The search bot on their support site (AI-powered) was good. The sales people were great to talk to, then it all went downhill from there...

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Please do not make my mistake, choose Deel or another solution:
- Software is overly complicated and not easy to setup, configure or use
- My insurance broker could never get the back-end connection to work properly. Rippling didn't deduct the right amount for employee insurance withholdings. And since Rippling doesn't offer Aetna, we had to completely go outside the system.
- I received 2 large tax bills from 2 states stating that (Rippling) didn't withhold enough taxes. I contacted Rippling and they said "2 weeks for tax team to investigate" -- how am I sure they even filed taxes for me to these states?
- EOR nightmares. We have employees in India. They take a deposit for each employee (standard). However, when you terminate an employee, they force you to wait 60 DAYS to receive the refund. And those refunds don't come on time. You have to raise support tickets to get refunds. They tell you "they are waiting on engineering" -- what a joke. Deel will refund these deposits after 5 days. For small startups, this lack of cashflow can be a killer.
- EOR issues - they constantly tell you that "engineering" has to fix issues we were having.
- EOR issues - India employees couldn't adjust Provident fund amounts.
- Mysterious extra charges for Rippling seats - they overcharged me for many seats, conduct an audit that took 1 month, and only refunded me a small amount.

At the end of the day, Rippling is a horrible company to work with. I'm shocked at the 4.8 stars review on G2 crowd. Their customer service (in India) is generally slow, overly process driven, and their core system only works well at charging you (early - they never trust you to pay your bills on time) but works poorly at issuing refunds for money owed to you.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I signed up with Rippling to handle global payroll. The sales pitch was good, but the reality of their platform and service was severely lacking.

  ### 16. This company is actively deceiving its customers - cancel before its too late.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

We had a terrible experience - the UX was fine but nothing special. They overcharge you for mundane things that you can do for a fraction of the price - don't be fooled.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

This company is misrepresenting the work they are doing for customers. I've received several notices of non-compliance and short-payments for payroll related items that Rippling was responsible for. I have sent several emails since June with no response and am looking into the right paths of escalation to get to a resolution, including legal action.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They will solve your problems in theory - except they don't actually follow through with all of the compliance-related requirements associated with being a payroll adminstrator. Issues include payroll tax miscalculation as reported to federal and state agencies, misrepresenting the product during the sales process, and delivery of taxes late to federal agencies.

  ### 17. Bait and switch

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

The concept of a modern platform with vast integrations capability

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

It cannot accurately process payroll, which creates complex payroll errors and great dissatisfacton with our employees

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

credit card use

  ### 18. Taking a financial loss to replace Rippling mid-year because it is so terrible

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sasha C. | Vice President, People Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

I suppose it does a lot of different things. The problem is it doesn't really do anything particularly well.

It's very integrated (meaning it offers core module, payroll, benefits admin, IT management, etc. all-in-one); however, none of these is done well.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

I don't have enough time to list out all of its flaws...mainly because so much of my time is spent trying to deal with Rippling's customer "support" or correct errors in our data that Rippling has created. But to name a few:

1. Customer service is really awful. Reps are almost never able to resolve even the most basic of issues. We've had numerous customer success and technical support managers since starting our working relationship and none of them lasts long, so the long-term "improvements" that we were promised over a year ago never come to fruition and we have to start over with new reps frequently.

2. They claim to be a global platform but they really have no comprehension of compliance needs in any location beyond the US. We can't even use the basic PTO tracking function because it is not set up to properly do absence management in countries that require unique accrual schedules, where PTO is tracked in days instead of hours, etc. This was made even worse after we created custom policies in each location to TRY to manage this as best that we could, and then Rippling went ahead and created their own "default" policies per geography with inaccurate accruals based on statutory minimums, etc. (instead of our more generous policies) and reassigned all of our employees, completely messing up their balances and requests. It took HOURS to sort out the disaster Rippling created.

3. They do not have separate and unique profiles for contractors and employees. So, if you have a contractor who you convert and hire, it looks like that employee's date of hire goes all the way back to when they started as a contractor. This makes proper benefits management a DISASTER because someone's eligibility window in the US has ended before they even were actually hired as an employee. Rippling continues to advise us that this isn't a problem and they don't intend to fix it.

4. They charge a fortune for API access so that we can essentially access our own data via API.

5. Non-compliant for global document retention.

6. Through what was admittedly our own error, someone's comp was changed with the wrong effective date. But through Rippling, it is not possible to administratively correct this. They claim it will create an "inaccurate legal record" if we fix the error. The problem is now someone's personnel record is....inaccurate. In the legal record. I have never seen an HRIS where you can't create a correction with notation. This is a huge flaw, and again, one that they refuse to correct.

7. Glitches and bugs ALL THE TIME.

I cannot stress enough that this is NOT a platform that we would ever recommend. I have worked with many platforms in the past including BambooHR, Gusto, Kronos, Ultipro, Workday, and more. Truly any of these is leaps and bounds better than Rippling. Please, don't make the same mistake we did.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling is honeslty only creating problems for us. We are abandoning our contract mid-year at great expense because the number of problems the platform has caused is an even greater cost.

  ### 19. Disappointing

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsten H. | Principal/Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

The only benefit we've found is that the system is easy to use for on-boarding and off-boarding employees. All other functions are better handled by other providers.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Least helpful - lack of phone number or person to contact for immediate support.
Payroll - Takes some configuring to setup and has very limited reporting functions. Our previous provider was much better. Selected Rippling partially becasue of it's integration with WorkFlow Max but it turns out the process to get them to interact was so complicated we gave up.
Benefits - Thought using Rippling as our health broker would simplify the integration. Turns out it is a do-it-yourself system without any human input on the other side. Found out that our vision benefits did not take affect as they should have right before an employee had an appointment. Could not get a real person to resolve this issue for nearly two weeks. Have never interacted with our broker and don't even have contact info for a licensed broker.
GSuite integration - Thought this would simplify creating email accounts, etc. When I integrated the services it automatically put me in the most expensive category that cost about 3x our previous cost. Once I realized this and changed our services, it takes 2 months to take affect since they bill 2 months in advance. It is nice to automatically create the account when on-boarding, but it doesn't have an option to delete the account when off-boarding so you still have to do it through google. Also, now that we get gsuite through google our IT person can't work with google directly, which is a huge pain.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Clunky reporting, bad support, poor billing practices, annual contracts.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None, it's a terrible tool

  ### 21. Good idea, awful execution.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Rippling Finance?**

The technical concept and story for Rippling is innovative and desirable. The actual execution is too opaque and misleading.

**What do you dislike about Rippling Finance?**

Pricing is volatile and changes very frequently. Support is awful: no phone support, limited chat support, slow email support. Advice from Rippling support may be illegal in some states. For example, Rippling has advised multiple times that we reverse payments while adjusted payments are processed. But that violates California law on the timing of payments. If they could perform net adjustments, we would be fine, but reversing pay for a day or two is illegal as it would leave the employee unpaid according to the state. Rippling jumps into the role of 3rd party provider in several situations without providing clarity that they are taking a paid role. For example, they want to be your healthcare broker, your IDP license partner, 401k broker, etc. That's fine if they indicate their role. But RIppling omits any reference to their role as a paid participant. And those payments they make while providing no value have no bearing on the fees we already pay.

**What problems is Rippling Finance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software is broadly capable for payroll, document collection, etc. But reporting is weak.
