**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

I find Rippling extremely useful because of its simplicity and ease of use. The interface is very intuitive, so tasks like approving leave or checking the company calendar are quick and hassle-free. I also really like how easily administrative access can be granted just one click, and access is enabled within seconds. This saves a lot of time and removes the need to depend on IT.
The secret store is also a great feature for securely sharing information within the team. Even the initial setup of Rippling was smooth and took hardly five minutes.
Overall, these features make my day-to-day work much easier, and Rippling has become an essential tool for me.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

I do face some challenges with the mobile app, as it doesn’t offer all the features that are available on the web version. Navigating to the calendar on mobile can also feel a bit cumbersome at times.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I primarily use Rippling for device management and calendar-related tasks, and it has really streamlined my daily workflow. It cuts down the need for admin support and makes approvals and leave tracking much easier to manage. I also find the Secret Store extremely useful for securely sharing sensitive information within the team. Overall, it helps me work faster and stay organized.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

I love how intuitive and structured Rippling is — everything connects through workflows that build seamlessly on top of one another. It makes setup and ongoing management incredibly efficient, especially as new modules or processes are added. The automation and integration across systems are a huge plus.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

There isn’t much to dislike, but a few areas could use more flexibility for organizations with complex or nontraditional structures like ours. Some workflows and reporting tools feel a bit rigid, and a few features we needed required workarounds. That said, the platform is evolving quickly, and the support team has been great about helping us find solutions.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling has been a game changer for us. We manage multiple entities under one umbrella, and previously our HR, payroll, and IT processes were fragmented across different systems. Rippling has allowed us to consolidate everything into one centralized platform — from onboarding and payroll to device management and permissions. It’s saved us a tremendous amount of time, reduced manual errors, and given us much better visibility and control across all our organizations.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

Rippling has truly transformed our workflow. What was once a complicated and disorganized onboarding process has become nearly effortless, almost as easy as a single click. The platform is genuinely useful, and whenever we have questions, we receive prompt and clear responses instead of just a list of links. This responsiveness is especially valuable when we need quick resolutions. The initial setup was also much more straightforward than we anticipated—it really felt like a plug-and-play solution for both HR and IT. Overall, Rippling provides a seamless and secure way to manage transactions. It has become an app we rely on every day.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Rippling has been very helpful overall, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. Some of the customization options seem somewhat limited, and there have been occasions when responses were slower than I expected or lacked detail. Additionally, the pricing is not very transparent.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

I like that Rippling puts everything related to HR and work in one place. The interface is clean and easy to understand. I don’t have to jump between tools to check payroll, training, or company info. It feels organized and smooth to use.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Sometimes things take a few extra clicks to find, may be security is too high. I tried to create the automatic reports or whatever once and was facing some cjallenges, i was newbie to that field may be that was the reason. Nothing major,  some features feel a little hidden. but there’s room to make navigation faster.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling makes HR tasks simpler and faster. Instead of tracking payroll, onboarding, approvals, and access management manually or using separate systems, everything is handled in one platform. It saves time and reduces confusion, especially during onboarding or policy updates. It also helps keep everything accurate and consistent.

Rippling is very user-friendly and simple to navigate. It has helped us streamline our processes and save time on many manual tasks. The customer support is excellent; the chat service is always helpful and connects us with support quickly. Rippling continually adds new features to support a wide range of functions, making it even more valuable for our company.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Rippling is overall an excellent and user-friendly platform. However, there are a few areas where I would like to see further development. For example, I hope they make the benefits administration section easier to understand and add more features to the benefits report. It would also be helpful to have a notes section within the employee profile, dedicated to internal office use, where managers and HR can record notes about employees for purposes such as compliance with state and federal laws, disciplinary actions, and onboarding or offboarding processes. Additionally, I would appreciate continued expansion of global payroll support to include more countries.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling serves as a comprehensive platform for our employees, allowing us to manage recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding all within a single system, along with additional features. We rely on Rippling to streamline and automate many of our manual processes. The platform has been instrumental in helping us create numerous workflows, which has resulted in significant time and cost savings. By utilizing these workflows across various departments, including payroll, onboarding, and offboarding, we have been able to avoid the need for an additional staff member.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

Rippling is the most user friendly HRIS system that I have interacted with and I have interacted with over half a dozen other platforms. The system is very intuitive and you can get to the data/information you need with very few clicks. All of the data/information is right where you would expect it to be.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Rippling could make the Recruiting platform, specifically reviewing resumes more user friendly by allowing the reviewer to see a snapshot of the resume without downloading it. This just adds additional time in the process for the reviewer.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a very clunky and expensive system previously with Workday. Rippling is significantly more cost effective and solves all the problems we had in our old system. Rippling has a freshly built out system that was built to be an HRIS system. Not a system that started out as a payroll system and had a bunch of clunky add on systems attached to it.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

Rippling has been extremely user-friendly for both myself and my team. I especially appreciate that RPass is integrated, as it allows everyone in the company to securely store both personal and company passwords. Rippling support is fantastic and are always available to help with issues I have, especially when working with custom integrations and connections to other tools. We use Rippling every day and it has become a bedrock of our IT infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

As an all-in-one system, I have noticed that Rippling sometimes lacks certain features that are available in other leading platforms. While they are making efforts to enhance the system and introduce new features, progress can be slower simply because of the extensive functionality already built into the platform.

Rippling allows us to have many separate systems housed under the same roof, which increases communication between different areas of our business.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

The manner that all of the apps are well-organised and easily incorporated into Rippling is what I adore most about it.  I don't have to constantly remember passwords thanks to this and the Single Sign-On feature, which makes them easily accessible.  In order to ensure that we achieve all deadlines, Rippling also notifies us of pending chores.  It is simple to use and implement at work because to these qualities.  The manner that all of the apps are well-organised and easily incorporated into Rippling is what I adore most about it.  I don't have to constantly remember passwords thanks to this and the Single Sign-On feature, which makes them easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

The mobile app's usability, in my opinion, needs to be enhanced.  It has several restrictions that I can only get around if I use a laptop or desktop computer, which isn't always the case, particularly when I'm travelling.  The initial setup is a little complicated as well.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

I really appreciate Rippling's intuitiveness, which makes it easier for everyone, from the admin team to those just needing to request time off or view a pay slip. The system's nimbleness allows us to change access, reports, and how things are tracked or presented without the hassle of submitting a ticket and waiting. I also like the responsiveness of Rippling's support team. The implementation team is quick to respond and super helpful, with routine meetings to keep us on track. If something goes beyond their scope, the general support team is also quick to respond and comes prepared with thoughtful questions. Plus, there's a robust helpsite and Rippling U for additional support.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

I wish the user permissions could have more detailed controls. It's mostly categories now and can't be detailed. There's also some features that aren't available if someone doesn't have full access to the entire company/companies. It's currently pretty high level and they are tied together, but sometimes you don't need someone who can see pay rates to also see SSNs.

Rippling brings global sites into one platform and provides opportunities for automation.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

We are using Rippling primarily for IT and access management. It makes it very easy to have all our employees in one place and get them set up with single sign on for all the apps they need based on their department or work location. For any websites or apps where we need to share a team password, we now have a Chrome extension (RPass) to save and access those passwords securely. There are convenient automations that happen when we onboard or offboard employees. The specialist we were assigned made implementation easy, with friendly and patient support.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

The portal is a bit confusing because of all the options available, but once it's set up properly I think that will be less of a concern. I wish the RPass extension had more features to rival better password managers like Bitwarden. Some of our employees prefer to use Safari, and it would be nice if it worked with that.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

What I love about Rippling is it is a one stop shop for all of your HR needs. From passwords, to data, to time off, to spending, you name it. It's so user friendly and seeing where everything is stored and organized is so intuitive. This is the third HR software platform I have used and it makes me excited to use it and get in to work for the day. The support team is always readily available and helps me to figure out how to use it better.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

I don't really dislike anything about Rippling, but like any software they are still growing, improving, and adding. There are some things I would like more built out like the Review Cycles I wish they were on a timer where they would pop up again a year later just like work anniversaries do, but these things come with time.

Rippling is solving the problem of content back and forth with tons of different platforms that aren't integrated with one another. It makes it easy to make changes with people's deductions, benefits, and a host of other items.

The automation features are a huge time-saver—especially for onboarding new employees, updating benefits, or processing terminations. I also appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with other tools we use, like Slack and Google Workspace. The dashboards are clean, and the step-by-step workflows make even complex tasks feel manageable.

While Rippling has a lot of strengths, there are some areas that could be improved. Reporting can feel a bit limited or not as customizable as I’d like, especially when trying to pull niche data across different modules.

I appreciate Rippling's intuitive and great user interface, which makes it easy to navigate and ensures a pleasant user experience. The fast service with quick and accurate responses when I have questions is incredibly valuable, making interactions seamless and efficient. The single sign-on feature is particularly beneficial as it eliminates the need to repeatedly enter passwords, streamlining the login process and enhancing security. I also find it extremely helpful to have a clear overview of all employees within the organization, as well as the organizational chart. This feature enhances collaboration by making it simple to identify the appropriate contacts on other teams. Additionally, the platform simplifies processes like open enrollment and applying for reimbursements for FSA (dependent & health), making these tasks a breeze to manage and alleviating administrative burdens for users.

I find the lack of an AI chatbot in Rippling to be a drawback. Having an AI assistant would greatly enhance the user experience by allowing for easy queries about health plans and employee benefits. This could streamline access to important information and make the platform more efficient.

Rippling brings HR, payroll, benefits, and IT into one platform, which saves a huge amount of time and reduces errors. Instead of bouncing between systems, everything from onboarding to device management is connected. The automation is a game changer, new hires can be set up with payroll, benefits, and software access in minutes. Reporting is also much cleaner than other systems I’ve used, and the integrations make it easy to connect with the rest of our tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Because Rippling does so much, the platform can feel a bit overwhelming at first—there’s a learning curve if you’re new to it. Some of the advanced reporting and customization requires more setup than expected, and occasionally I need to lean on support or documentation to get it right. The product is evolving quickly (which is mostly a positive), but it means features sometimes feel a step ahead of the documentation.

Rippling has eliminated the need to juggle multiple disconnected HR and IT systems. We can onboard employees in minutes, with payroll, benefits, and software access all handled automatically. I find it incredibly convenient that everything I need for administrating my employment is handled in one clean, modern app that’s accessible via browser, desktop, and mobile apps. This efficiency and ease of use are what make Rippling stand out for me. Additionally, the initial setup of Rippling was very easy, which made transitioning to it smooth. Overall, Rippling has proven to be a preferred platform, comfortable to work with and satisfactory enough to earn my recommendation with a score of 10 out of 10.

The functional aspects and the UX/UI design of RPass are both abysmal. It's buggy, inconvenient, and has an unattractive interface, which significantly detracts from the user experience.

I wish that the system allowed you to upload a copy of your signature. The two options currently are to write your signature (with your mouse or your finger on your touchscreen) or type your name in. Additionally, I appreciate the Mobile Device Management (MDM) capabilities, which allow us to push scripts and updates efficiently across our workspaces. I implemented Rippling when I was an HR team of one, and even without a dedicated implementation team, I was able to configure and launch the system with minimal assistance, thanks to Rippling’s intuitive setup and helpful guidance. The onboarding and offboarding workflows are seamless, new hires get set up quickly with background checks, email provisioning, and system access, and offboarding is just as efficient. Payroll is reliable and accurate, benefits administration is smooth, and the custom workflows and intuitive interface make daily HR operations much easier. Support has been outstanding — the general support team is responsive and most issues are resolved within minutes, and we can easily escalate to our dedicated rep when needed. What I like least about Rippling is the lack of built-in credential tracking and limited advanced workflow options. We’ve had to create a workaround to track certifications, but it doesn’t support expiration dates or linking certification numbers directly to the record. I’d also like to see more pre-built compliance reports (like VETS-4212) and enhanced performance reporting features, such as grading scales or customizable review templates. In addition, some useful tools like Kudos and credential tracking come at an extra cost, which can add up quickly. Overall, while the platform is strong, a few enhancements to reporting, credential management, and workflow depth would make it even better.

Rippling has built a password manager, RPass, into their suite of products. For the majority of our softwares, our team uses the single sign on feature via Rippling. They simply login to Rippling, and click the logo of the platform and the integrations check credentials and log them in. For password sharing, we like that we can control the functionality of 'use not view' where a user can login with the credentials, but does not have the visibility to see the password. We also appreciate how easy it is to update and share passwords based on the department structure we have built in Rippling, so certain parts of our org chart can get access, without providing access to everyone or needing to manually enter names. As with all things, Rippling's customer support is strong, and their technical support team is always on hand to help with any problems - we've found them to be incredibly responsive and supportive. If you are planning to use Rippling as your HRIS, setting up Rpass as your password manager can be an extremely efficient, cost effective, security focused decision, and a strong added value to partnering with Rippling.

Other password managers have the ability to share more than just passwords. For example, we would like the ability to share API tokens, secure notes, or documents. This functionality does not currently exist, but would be nice to have. Also, it would be extremely helpful to have support on keeping the passwords relevant and up to date. A feature that flags when a password has not been used or updated for a certain amount of time would be extremely helpful to our security admins.

Multiple team members have also mentioned using the org chart regularly. I personally have utilized the platform regularly to run reports, etc. Our implementation manager was also very helpful and made the process fairly simple.

Rippling is extremely accessible for both administrators and employees. Our company has used Rippling as our HRIS provider since January 1, 2025, and the onboarding team made the implementation seamless. We continue to be impressed by the system’s simplicity and access to the customer service team. Employees use it daily to track time and attendance, payroll, benefits, signed documents, and the company org chart. We have also integrated our 401(k) and background check providers with Rippling, and the experience has been excellent for both administrators and employees.

Rippling has been the best HRIS provider we have used however, the limited features available in the app make it more challenging for those who prefer using the app or have minimal access to the desktop version. Although we faced a few technical challenges, the dedicated implementation managers have been very helpful and responsive, and followed up any issues internally to help us reach a resolution.

We have discovered some gaps with payroll that require manual calculation and intervention. While Rippling Support has been responsive and generally helpful, sometimes the amount of back-and-forth required and resolution times have been frustrating, especially when there are technical glitches/issues that require engineering for resolution. Sometimes these issues have impacted time-sensitive processes such as payroll.

I like the time off and training features of Rippling because they are very simple to follow, making it easy to manage these aspects effortlessly. Additionally, I find the initial setup process of Rippling to be quite straightforward, which is great as it saves time and reduces complexity when getting started with the software.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

I feel that the ability to leave comments on employee benefits or payroll-related issues would be a significant improvement. Currently, this feature seems to be lacking, and it could enhance communication and feedback processes within the platform.

I use Rippling to address all HR concerns, including employee training and benefits, with straightforward time off and training features that are simple to follow.

It is easy to use and implement, whether for single sign-on on different apps, for payroll, or for managing training. The customer support team is easy to reach out in times of doubt. I use it every day and have not faced any issues using it.

I hoped there was a separate tab with all the new updates as sometimes employees miss out on it.

Rippling helps save a lot of time by having different features like benefits, payroll and details stored in a single place without having to do back and forth between different platforms to update data.

What we appreciate most is how much it assists us with both onboarding and offboarding processes. Additionally, it verifies the bank account information for each employee.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

What I don't like is that we have to pay extra if we want to access additional tools within Rippling, such as the performance reviews or the recruitment tool.

This tool assists us each month with our payroll system, helps manage PTO tracking, and provides access to general employee information, such as the organizational chart.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

Rippling makes it extremely easy to manage HR, payroll, benefits, and IT in one platform. The interface is clean and intuitive, so tasks like approving time off, managing benefits, and checking payroll details can be done quickly without confusion. It’s especially helpful that everything is integrated — employees don’t have to jump between multiple systems. Automated workflows save time, and the self-service options empower employees to handle many tasks independently.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

While Rippling is powerful, some areas could be improved. Customer support response times can feel slow, especially for urgent payroll or benefits questions. The platform is feature-rich, but that sometimes makes it overwhelming for new users. Reporting and analytics, while functional, could be more flexible and customizable. Additionally, smaller companies may find the pricing a bit on the higher side compared to simpler HR tools.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

I've been using it as an contractor/receiver of payments. It's very easy to use, easy to set up multiple payout accounts, mobile app works great and smooth, most integrations and auto-signin works.
Big pluses:
- You can get payouts in your own currency without any other hassle
- They managed to negotiate wire fee down to $5 per USD payments (which is great)
- You can split your payouts into multiple bank accounts (must be same currency tho)

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

- What I'm missing is the ability to retain the earned amounts for longer (eg combine multiple payouts to avoid paying a fee, or to move the payout to the next fiscal year)
- Would have loved to be able to see Days Off aggregates a little easier (eg see count of days instead of hours, and see days count in past year), but it's usable

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes paying out worldwide contractors extremely easy, along with all the necessary HR tools.

One thing I dislike about Rippling is that it can be a bit rigid when handling edge cases—like contractor classifications or international setups. Sometimes the platform assumes a one-size-fits-all workflow, which means extra manual steps or workarounds when things don’t fit the default mold.

Rippling solves the problem of managing HR, IT, and finance tasks across multiple platforms. It centralizes things like onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and access control, which saves time and reduces errors. There are several aspects to Rippling that I find appealing:
1) Smooth interaction with additional platforms
2) Accessibility ease 
3) Prompt reminders regarding outstanding assignments
4) Timer lifesaver since I don't need to log in to different platforms that I use regularly.

There is scope of development in mobile interface as for some features laptop/desktop is required.

1) SSO is a crucial feature because it saves a lot of time.
2) Prompt reminders facilitate timely completion of registered courses.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

It's simple and straightforward on most items. Identity and Endpoint management is simple, but is not a complete or best of breed solution. Payroll works decently, but the setup menus are sometimes confusing or overly complicated. The implementation service is okay, but we were not wow'd.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

It's missing parts compared to other competitors (some types of policies cannot be coded on payroll, not remote connections on IT, etc). Not all the implementation staff is knowledgeable of their solutions.

one-stop shop for multiple needs that was fairly affordable.

Has a lot of features in one place. Support is ok and I have had to use them alot!

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

Although they have a lot of features in one place, those features are not always the best on the market. They also nickel and dime you for a lot of the features that are not included in their core product. RPASS password saver is not good and only works half the time. Most features need an overhaul to be more initiative and user friendly.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multi-state Payroll and tax payments. We spend less time filing payroll taxes.

The integration with Homebase allows us to manage payroll efficiently, while the connection with Indeed streamlines our onboarding and offboarding processes. Having all these functions in one place makes our workflow much more convenient.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

I am unable to handle Worker's Compensation and IRA tasks with this product.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used the platform for tasks such as resetting my password, updating my tax information, and accessing my paystubs. It has also helped me review details about my wages, garnishments, and deductions.

**What do you like best about Rippling IT?**

The integrations are very helpful. Mineral in particular was a big help with creating employee handbooks. I have used Gusto extensively in the past and they're both good, but I think Rippling is more comprehensive and easier to use.

**What do you dislike about Rippling IT?**

We have multiple entities under one parent company, and it could be easier to delineate between them. We also had an issue running our first payroll, but Rippling made it right.

**What problems is Rippling IT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it very easy for new employees to access their benefits and enroll. Also the MDM has been very simple, saving me quite a bit of time.
