Every tool in the affordable range sends alerts, change notifications with no context or interpretation. Ripplewatch is built around the Momentum score: a single directional read (Heating up, Steady, or Cooling) per competitor, synthesized from hiring velocity, pricing activity, product changes, press and funding coverage, review sentiment, relevance trends, and win/loss. It answers the question founders actually have: is this competitor getting more or less dangerous? The platform operates through three steps. First, users provide business context, including positioning, ICP, and reasons for lost deals or churn. Next, Ripplewatch continuously monitors selected competitors, scoring every signal against that context. Finally, scored updates are delivered via Slack and email, and roll up into each competitor's Momentum score on the dashboard. Built for early-stage SaaS founders, 1-20 employees, pre-Series A, not enterprise PMM teams.
