I do not like the use of pre-recorded sessions in Hopin. Whilst I accept that they can be of some benefit to those uncomfortable with new technology, it is often easier to tell when a session has been pre-recorded due to the lack of interactivity and the spirit of an engaging presenter. I have been incredibly impressed with Hopin's features. Not only is it easy and intuitive to use as a host or attendee, but I also get timely support from their team when issues arise. My attendees especially enjoyed using this platform for my event; they found useful features such as forums for communication, sponsor profiles with personal information about them, gamification reward elements such as surveys & polls that made our overall experience better! I do not like that Hopin can be confusing for participants regarding the messaging channels. It's difficult to ask people if they want to participate on camera at certain booths when they don't have access to a separate chat room. To make it easier, the conversations should either be visually different or placed in different areas so people know where their messages and polls are going. I sometimes find the chats are complicated - participants don't always see which chat they are in - so if there was a way to distinguish those better, that would be helpful. Hopin has simplified our lives with its landing page templates. We had no issues with Hubspot and Hopin's flawless integration. The reception area is ideal for interacting with participants before the main event. Although our marketing automation tool was not sending confirmation emails, Hopin did so without issues. Zoom and Hopin are completely different, with Hopin encouraging active participation and promoting the expansion of the community user base. In addition, Hopin provides comprehensive analytics, making signup monitoring and analysis simple. We expect magic links to help us monitor and send URLs to participants. Many users have expressed dissatisfaction with Hopin due to its complexity and demanding computing requirements. Not only does the platform require a powerful laptop capable of handling high-level input, but it also requires Chrome for installation. What I appreciate most about Hopin Events is there interactiveness. The virtual booths option provides excellent opportunities for direct communication with event attendees, making networking quite easy and effective. I appreciate Hopin and all it has to offer us, but I wish there was a way for hybrid events to do check-ins. This would make the process easier without the complications associated with human interaction, which is missing in nature.
