Before and during the event, we didn't need to educate attendees how to use Hopin. All of the components (Stage, Sessions, Networking, Expo) really made it feel like you were at a multi-venue event. The sync between the different "rooms" worked simultaneously and it was easy to get a birds-eye view of the event. The live reporting, post reporting and auto-recording features were much appreciated. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** We want to ensure our future job fairs and events are accessible for everyone to attend. The limit on registrations hindered us from marketing the event (because it sold out so quickly!) and prevented some registrants from attending. As well, the flow from registrant to attendee doesn't really exist. They are up-front with the cost - you don't have to listen to a 30-minute sales pitch to find out if the platform is in the approved price range. The support is via chat and there are many articles for reference. With Hopin, we created these events quickly and often and branded the experiences as we would an in-person event or conference. It was intuitive to navigate the front and back end of the website and mobile app. For anything I couldn't figure out, I could easily chat with their support team and get a quick response. Our attendees had an overall positive experience with Attendify as well. Both the website and mobile app had some excellent features which made our event better, including a general chat for all attendees, sponsor profiles, gamification, website links (for surveys and other content), and an About section (for general information). I look forward to exploring the platform further during future events (both virtual and hybrid)! **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** During our event, we had a few hiccups with the Zoom integration in Attendify. I admit that I didn't test the integration before the event, so I don't know if the issues I faced were because of how I set up the event or known bugs in the system. I also wish that Attendify allowed you to create multiple promo codes for each ticket type. It'd be great to have a general ticket with an unlock code which I could also make a discount code for when I wanted to provide someone with complimentary registration. Finally, it'd be nice if attendees could upload attachments in the chat in addition to comments and photos to promote resource sharing. **What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our organization operates in 175+ locations worldwide. While we love getting together in person, we know that not everyone can travel to an event. Being able to offer virtual events has helped us reach more people and attract speakers from anywhere. Attendify helped us create an effective registration page, event website, and event mobile app for our virtual conference. We're looking forward to using Attendify during future events to create a hybrid experience, connecting our in-person attendees using the mobile app with our virtual attendees using the website. ### 34. From an attendee perspective it is very straight forward. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** The downside is that a bunch of the integrations are either additional cost or require you to be a premium user. Which is really expensive. **Recommendations to others considering RingCentral Events:** Compared to other platforms out there, Hopin is really the best option. It is inexpensive for the basic packages - and those packages contain a lot of features. Yes there are a few that are included in the premium package that we could really benefit from but we get by perfectly on a basic package. Some may look it as a bad thing but I love that Hopin is a start up and that we have been with them since the beginning. Each and everytime I login to Hopin, there are improvements and new features available, which is really exciting. I feel like we are growing together and it's great that we can support each other. Of course, that means that sometimes things aren't perfect but there are always ways to get around it if you are patient and can be flexible. I am just really glad Hopin exists as the past year would have looked drastically different for us and guaranteed not as successful. **What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to move all of our events online. It is user-friendly and intuitive for both the creator and the user. We have used this for multiple events and even had to use the "Refund" feature. When our largest "Live" Event was canceled last year, we not only had to refund our attendees but multiple levels of vendors as well. We thought this would be a nightmare, but Attendify managed to take away all anxiety and processed the refund with the click of a button! The stage is great because it eliminates distractions or people accidentally unmuting themselves, while still allowing the audience to engage via the chat and polls. The booths are also very interesting, as we then get as close as possible to face-to-face interactions in smaller booths and that more personalised feel. I also like that I am able to message individual profiles and reach out to others, as this helps to build relationships and is also another form of networking. The description where the timetable for the event is shown is also something that I like. I also appreciate the password function as it ensures more security for events. Seeing the live count of people in the meeting is also very interesting. I also enjoy the polls and chat function that makes the events more engaging and allows us to discuss our opinions. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** I wish that the video capacity for the booths could increase, as sometimes at larger events, those that are not on camera are often ignored. Other than that, I have not had any issues with accessing and using the platform. **What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have, first of all, been able to solve the problems posed by COVID-19 restrictions, which did not allow me to attend events in-person. Hopin has allowed me to continue developing my career and expanding upon my knowledge virtually throughout this time. I have also struggled to expand my network, and this platform has allowed me to do so as well by letting me reach out to like-minded participants. With some other platforms, I have experienced more difficulties with bandwidth, as I would often need to turn off my own camera or I would not be able to see others. The platform is easy to use, intuitive for attendees to navigate from section to section, and clients love the detailed analytics available for their programs. It is also completely customizable - so each client event can be fully branded to their look and feel for an even more immersive experience. The customer service and specific agency support we receive is top notch. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** So far, the only thing that has been a challenge for us is upgrading a user's ticket in Hopin. The way the Magic Links work, each user has a specific ticket type for the event. There is no easy way to upgrade or change a person's ticket type. It is a fairly manual process - not impossible - but certainly degrades the user experience when they are waiting to receive their new upgraded ticket. It doesn't happen a lot -- this is not a normal use-case, but it is something that has come up for us recently and we haven't been able to find an automated solution. Hopefully, they will fix this in future releases. **Recommendations to others considering RingCentral Events:** Don't hesitate to ask as many questions to your Hopin person. They are all incredibly helpful and easy to work with -- always there with ideas on how to make our events successful. **What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Hopin, we are able to easily host virtual events for our clients that have included a combination of live and pre-recorded content. We have also been able to integrate a number of interactive elements into the programs (such as Miro, Slido, virtual photo booths, etc.) and have found several ways to increase sponsor engagement in the platform as well. As I mentioned before, the analytics available within the platform is super-detailed and offers a lot of insights to our clients for future program improvements and understanding the user experience within the event platform. ### 47.
