For the most part this has been successful. I have noticed in the last 6-8 months the techs that answer the phone are not qualified to answer most questions. It takes a long time to get answers - they have to go to the back office. When we first started with Rightworks the people answering the call were very knowledgeable but that has definitely changed. The ease of use & simplicity of the Right Networks interface. There isn't much of a learning curve here which is particularly helpful when training new staff. By far my biggest complaint in my 2 tax seasons of using RN, there have been extremely obvious server slowdowns during peak times. This can be very frustrating when deadlines looms! That said, the slow server speed is an exception to the rule, typically there are no issues. Additionally, It can be a bit frustrating not being able to "right-click" on items. I understand this is for security purposes, but you need to be comfortable with some basic keyboard shortcuts to do certain tasks (copy/cut & paste, for example). As my title indicates, the primary problem that Right Networks helps to solve is working remotely, whether it be from home or from a foreign country. The flexibility is a fantastic benefit. Makes it possible to share our QuickBooks file without having to set up hosting on our own server, or worrying about backups from our own server. I love that I can access it from anywhere too. QuickBooks is the kind of app that I need all day long, and if I'm not using it constantly I might have to log back in seven times a day. From my understanding, they do backups every night in the event of any loss. Also, you can subscribe to alerts as to when their cloud is having difficulties. We have had many problems in the past with connections to them being not so good, but it appears to have improved. We had no choice but to go with them when we purchased Quickbooks enterprise for the cloud as Intuit teams with them. We use RightNetworks to mainly access our Quickbooks online programs so we haven't had any problems with working with the different functions of RightNetworks be we've, as a company, never had a problem getting into the system.
