Of course, the program allows me to input my own goals, but I love being able to track my goals against the goals of upper management. Being able to see their progress toward their goals and how I can align to org strategy is very helpful. The ability to search for a leader (or even a colleague) and see their goals and their progress toward them is a valuable tool for me to stay in the know and aligned with my team, my boss and senior leaders. I can even look at the goals of the CEO, and look for ways to align with his goals - it's not always possible, but if I can do that type of alignment work, I figure I'm doing pretty well. **What do you dislike about Rhythm?** There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to Rhythm. The interface is fairly clean, but with all the functionality, it's hard to know where to begin. I would recommend having another user show you the ropes a time or two so you can get acclimated to the layout and functions, before going out and using it on your own. Other than that, the tool is pretty clean, easy to use and intuitive once you spend some time with it. **What problems is Rhythm solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rhythm helps to solve the problem of organizational alignment, and that benefits me by helping me align my goals with top-level strategy - and when I do that, I make myself look GOOD! And of course, when I look good, my colleagues look good, my boss looks better, and her boss looks better too. When used properly by everyone, it can be an extremely useful tool. I like that for each quartly goal it ties back to an annual goal and winning move. This kind of structure helps make it easier to break down big ideas into achievable goals. The interface is fast and doesn't habe a large memory footprint . We use Monday.com and it's slow and frustrating to use even with a top of the line computer. **What do you dislike about Rhythm?** The structure of the interface feels antiquated -- more web2.0 than 3.0. I don't like that main annual goals and discrete annual goals sit in the same hierarchy and are shown in the same color. In addition I think there is an opportunity to reorganize the left side bar. Right now it has section that are organized alphabetically, but it makes sense to me that they should be ordered according to process or hierarchy, from big goal to small goal -- especially in the planning tab. In general the app has too much data buried in tabs and requires too many clicks to access it--any memory of where it all sits. It's challenging to remember even a portion of it, and doesn't have many built in cues for where to go next. The further I get into the software the less excited I get and wonder how long we will be able to keep up the energy to learn the minimum to keep it operational week to week. **What problems is Rhythm solving and how is that benefiting you?** Translating big ideas into achievable goals and tasks. We haven't implemented the system with the team yet, but it's already helped us in the way we create goals. I also love the section for meetings, so If I ever need to refer back, I can look there. I love the priority statusing! **What do you dislike about Rhythm?** I wish there was maybe a "chat" feature under tasks so that the team can have discussions and ask questions within rhythm with the "comment" section. Comments sort themselves from newest to oldest, which makes it hard to follow a cohesive conversation. For meetings, It would be great to have an option for a recurring meeting (weekly), where all those meetings can be organized under one heading (ex. Weekly Permit Meeting > August 8th > notes) There is nothing I dislike, just small additions I think would allow for more organization, and encourage usage. **What problems is Rhythm solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rhythm is solving the communications issue. I report directly to the executive team and as you can imagine, they're often busy, and get flooded with emails and messages all day long. Rhythm allows me to keep the executive team up to date on my projects, and have all materials available for them to look over in one place. It also helps that I can revisit priorities and projects from past quarters to show for annual reviews. **What do you dislike about Rhythm?** I wish that it was more in-depth and had additional features to use on a weekly basis. Breaking down goals is not convenient and it doesn't seem "fun" to do. A more interactive user interface with step by step instruction would help. **What problems is Rhythm solving and how is that benefiting you?** I appreciate that it is storing my priorities and I can easily revisit not only my own priorities but also my coworkers and executive teams.
