I'd prefer to be able to plug in my own serial numbers when registering them to the console. The QR while it worked well. It's kind of awkward.

**What do you like best about Rhombus?**

Been using Rhombus cameras for 3 years at my location, cameras are crystal clear.  I can observe the front office with facial recognition.  No comparison to other systems.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

I've not had any issues with the camera system.  Just took me a little time to get accustomed to saving shots and downloading video.  Now everything is great.

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facial recognition and a license plate reader allow me to survey my property and office area better.  Knowing when there is movement will enable me to search for a specific time instead of going through hours of video.

I like the cameras becasue they show great details.  The website is user friendly and the app is great to view them from anywhere.

I am working on the recent faces for the facial recognition. It may take a bit.

**What do you like best about Rhombus?**

Ease of use and overall functionality. Tested multiple vendor cameras with the same ability and Rhombus came in at the best price with the same functionality as competitors.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

There haven't been too many downsides to using Rhombus. The only thing i would say is if you get there custom corner building mounts, they do not come with the proper sealing for wet conditions.

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing anyone trying to break in or trespass. Had multiple break-ins and trespassers onsite. We are alerted immediately and able to take the correct actions to stop this from happening.

**What do you like best about Rhombus?**

Their customer service and overall platform offering are top notch. The Saas costs and hardware are both incredibly reasonable and far outperform other competitors like Verkada.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

The backend interface could use a little work, but is still intuitive. The only real downside is that more installers aren't familiar with them, so finding local folks who can do the install work is tricky sometimes.

Securing our multifamily apartment sites and allowing our teams to be more efficient when pulling footage. We also get analytics that allow us to understand how our spaces are used.

I've interacted with a variety of camera systems and dashboards over various roles, and Rhombus is where it's at! Very intuitive with excellent performance.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

The only issue I have noticed is sometimes "vehicle motion" is still detected even when there is nothing noticeable moving in the frame (not even trees).

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing an additional layer of security to all the entrances/exits to the office. We require all employees to enter with a unique key fob and visitors must wear badges. Rhombus provides an additional record of all usage.

From the start of our relationship with Rhombus we have been satisfied.

The sales specialist understood our concerns, and sent us the proper equipment to be able to monitor effectively.

We have been using rhombus cameras for about 3 months, and any issues that came up were promptly looked into and resolved.
So far there is not anything to dislike about the hardare or service.

Rhombus is helpful because it allows me to check on the premises no matter where I am working for the day. The interface is easy to use so anybody can work with it without facing much difficulty, if any.

There are not many downsides I can think of off the top of my head.

Their customer service is top notch. Many skip over the detail when choosing a security camera provider. Have worked with dozens of ip cloud camera system, I can attest that their customer service is at the top of the ladder.

Their technology, specifically, cloud-based analytics is cutting edge, but at a price point that won't break the bank.

I recommend Rhombus to any business looking to migrate their old on-premise security system, to a robust, cloud-based solution, as well as businesses looking to install a security solution for the first time.

They don't have a doorbell camera yet, but I believe they are working on this. I might be mistaken.

Rhombus has been extremely easy to work with. 
Easy set-up and configuration process. 
Very willing to listen to feature enhancements and needs.
Support has been very responsive and helpful.

Since the product is over the internet, we do experience times when we cannot access data off the cameras when internet or the network is experiencing issues. The vape sensors are finickly and require only certain types of cameras nearby to send the alerts, which is not cost-effective.

With the advanced features and alerting settings we have been able to secure the buildings much more effectively. We have been able to see clearly and love the fact that we can use them as a second alert if there is unwanted access to the buildings.

The user interface or GUI is very intuitive and easy to navigate. It's great, especially for novice security system users.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

Honestly, there was very little that I disliked. I think my only complaint is that as a company, Rhombus isn't as deep into the space as a few of their competitors.

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our current security system isn't cloud-based, and the user interface is incredibly difficult to navigate. Rhombus is just a huge step ahead in that realm. Their system is cloud-based, so there is no need for on-prem storage, and their GUI is easy to be used by folks who are not in it in a daily basis.

What's not to like, the quality of the cameras are fantastic but the simplicity of the product is what sold me.  Registering the devices and using the dashboard is a breeze

Nothing so far.  This is really a great product that I'd recommend to other school districts and businesses in my area

4. LOW LOW LOW network overhead (see Solink and its disastrous effects on your bandwidth)
5. 10 Year Hardware warranty (best in the biz)
6. Feature Rich!!! (should you choose the advanced license)

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

1. Cost. It is CRAZY expensive, but then again, so are most products in this category (Meraki et al.)
2. Location Grouping needs a minor tweak, but I'm nitpicking here. 
3. Installation.  I know I put this as a plus, but that's only because I've been using the cameras in all forms (R1, R2 to the new R400's) for the past five years.   IF you don't know what you are doing, you can damage the cameras, not seal the weatherproofing properly and get moisture or oil on the inner domes.  It's best to have rhombus send out a professional installer. Otherwise, you will void the 10-year warranty

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated before, Rhombus makes remote system management (camera settings, view panes, alert settings etc) an absolute breeze.  It is also second to non as far as end-user roles, privileges and management is concerned.   IT allows me to keep my team lean and focused without having to worry about teaching end users how to use they system.

**What do you like best about Rhombus?**

The integrations make it great for enterprises and schools alike.  Logins can authenticate through Azure AD.  It also integrates with our door access system for video clips of badge mismatches, and it integrates with our environmental sensors.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

Sometimes the video walls can be slow to load, but there is a direct correlation between the number of cameras on the wall and the speed at which it loads.  I suppose this is to be expected, but it's the one constant pain point mentioned by our security team.

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having our camera system on Rhombus means less time maintaining servers and software just to give our teams access to the cameras.  The cloud-based video storage and web access allow our team to focus their attention to other matters knowing that the camera system "just works."  And if we do run into any issues with a camera, the replacement is auto-shipped and on its way.

**What do you like best about Rhombus?**

Rhombus is easy to use, fast to setup and manage. Bonus, it can act like a network monitor and alert you asap when network goes down!

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

Price is somewhat expensive, but I haven't really had any issues with it. I guess one thing is I cannot make a clip longer than 1 hour for download.

It helps monitor secure rooms and access.

**What do you like best about Rhombus?**

Installing the cameras is very easy. Configuration of each camera is also very easy. Our end-users are able to use the dashboard on the web and navigate cameras with very little, to no training.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

No dedicated Windows application. No permanent text overlays for video walls. Not major issues, and Rhombus will hopefully implement these changes in the future.

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rhombus allows us to deploy cameras quickly and is very easy for our end users to navigate and export their own videos without submitting a help desk ticket. We like the variety of cameras they offer and the retention.

**What do you like best about Rhombus?**

Support team is there 24/7 to help with any issues you may have. The Rhombus system is also very easy to navigate and will easily tell you if there are any issues. Facial recognition is also an amazing tool to use for properties, which allows you to ever go back and identify individuals when/if needed!

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

So far nothing has really peaked to dislike, I would suggest the roles tab to be a little different, but after a week learning what all the buttons and custom roles do, It was very simple to work with.

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rhombus solves all the camera and security needs for multiple properties we work with. This helps our management and property side employees to review back in time or watch live footage camera of an area if anything was suspicious or needed attention to more detail after an issue comes up.

**What do you like best about Rhombus?**

It's so helpful to see the progress of a job site from wherever you may be. It's also helpful in General Contracting to review when certain work was completed. Always helps keep a good eye on the jobsite.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

Honestly, there isn't much I don't like about Rhombas. Sometimes we have difficulty with the linking of cameras, but otherwise, not much to complain about. Highly recommend.

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's extremely helpful to go back to the videos to see progress of the work. It's also a great selling point when we can show timelapse videos of the progress.

**What do you like best about Rhombus?**

The support team is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. I typically get a response within the hour and my issue is resolved on first contact. I put in an incident on a Saturday requesting a callback and the call came through shortly after. Fantastic

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

You cannot purchase directly from Rhombus. You have to purchase through a partner even if you are doing the install yourself. The partner you order through is not responsible for software support or RMA of defective units. I would like the option to order direct and save myself the partner's markup

**What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We ran Blue Iris and it was terrible. Rhombus has been a "set it and forget it" solution that does not create on-call incidents where the NVR is offline because the software decided to unlicense itself

It's very easy to share, access and use the remote view, the real time live is very fast for a cloud video feed.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

It's cloud only with no way to enable onvif/rtsp from the cameras, forcing you into the rhombus platform with no way out.

It lets us watch the lift from our desk or phone

How fast it is. I can look up videos about what may have happened throughout the day in seconds and it even shows when there was activity so I don't need to look through hours of footage

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

I wish there was more colors on the lights of errors or issues the camera may be facing instead of using the same light and just blinking in different patterns.

They are solving our issues by having a stable and secure connection of video footage for our systems.

It supports 2FA for login, and has good picture quality. I have one of their 1st camera's, a Model R1 that I got in 2018.

**What do you dislike about Rhombus?**

It has good human and vehicle recognition but sometimes misses or has false alerts.

Helping us detect human motion, as some of our older camera's can't.
