We also found that some advanced features are limited to higher-tier plans, which may not be ideal for smaller organizations. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rhombus is helping us centralize and streamline our video surveillance and physical security across multiple locations. Before Rhombus, managing footage was time-consuming and reactive — now we have real-time alerts, remote access, and easy incident retrieval. ### 2. They have helped us check if a child fell or was injured to see what happened. They have also been a great way for our state licesing to review that we are doing everything correctly. we have 6 cameras. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** nothing we dislike at this time. If anything, only some issues with our outdoor camera if the weather is bad. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rhombus is a great way to make sure both children and teachers are safe. ### 3. The cable connection also feels durable and weatherproof. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** From my experience, and the cameras I used, there is no way to adjust the pan, or tilt of the camera through software. In other words, once you install the camera and point it where you want it to be, you have to remove the glass cover to change the camera view again. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rhombus is our security solution to video surveillance of all of our corporate offices as well as our storage areas. Due to the volume of our storage, we often don't see missing items until days later. Rhombus allows us to check footage from days in the past due to its saved capacity. ### 4. Authentication complies with our alignment of centralized SAML sign-on to all cloud apps. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** The camera quality is not great on the R400, look for a higher quality camera. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Rhombus gives us 24/7, 365 access to the entire perimeter of our building allowing us knowledge of the happenings around the space. ### 5. Great cameras at a lower cost than other competitors. Easy to install. Very responsive support. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** Pre-registering is great but doesn't seem to work as well as planned. I can assign it policies and configurations before it gets here, however, when it does, I'm unable to finish the registration. Reporting on the Access Controller still needs fine-tuned. There's a lot missing from the report that's crucial for Industrial / Food Processing verticals. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** The system we had prior to Rhombus was over 10 years old and still using an onsite NVR system with little backup. This is creating a cloud solution with updated cameras. ### 6. Platform is easy to use. The ease of uploading and sharing files is great. Video walls are useful. The 360 cameras immersive mode is a nice feature. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** With the high price, I expected everything to work exceptionally. I was disappointed by the actual level of resolution, quality of overall streaming, and AI performance. The resolution is inferior, even when the highest is selected on a good bandwidth. The quality of streaming is often slow and doesn't load. Uploading videos for shared files can take hours. When you have a video wall going, it depends on the browser for formatting and refreshing. It would be nice if separate software could display a video wall in real-time with no lag and always be on. I have a restaurant, and keeping a video wall going all day for surveillance is tough. The AI performance often doesn't capture license plates from far away and doesn't recognize multiple faces of the same person very well. It also displays lots of upside-down faces and doesn't adjust the photo around. I gave up trying to utilize AI. I wanted to use AI mostly to see when an employee showed up for work and when they were visible on camera on a given day. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating an investigation and sharing it with law enforcement is saving me time compared to how I used to do it on my old system. Video walls are easy to put together and gives me flexibility for different views. ### 10.
