To locate and disseminate incident video took hours and involved the IT dept. Now I can locate the video and send it to concerned parties via a secure link in minutes. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** The only downside I've seen is the larger form factor of thier cameras prohibits me from using them in confined spaces (Like ATMs). Rhombus has the best pricing for quality cloud camera solutions, their video wall works very well, there are plenty of API integrations for example, with products such as Kisi, and some really cool features can be implemented, including triggering facial recognition alerts to notify the dashboard admins if the wrong access control user entered with a badge based on the user's face not matching, the video is sent out with only 1 second of latency. The pricing is also better than anything else in this classification for both hardware and licensing! **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** I can't think of anything that I dislike about this product. If I had to pick something I would say that it would be nice if the cameras could dual stream, this would allow for simultaneous cloud and local recording for the cameras. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rhombus is solving a few issues for our clients, one being ease of management, cloud managed cameras make it possible for the customer to no longer has to maintain hard drives and recorders or be concerned with network outages. The cameras have local onboard hardware for local recording in case of network issues and reconnect video streams when the network is restored. The cameras offer incredible smart analytics that is second to none, which can really help customers with features such as crowd management, people counting (great for stores and malls) and even facial recognition. ### 27. Platform is easy to use. The ease of uploading and sharing files is great. Video walls are useful. The 360 cameras immersive mode is a nice feature. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** With the high price, I expected everything to work exceptionally. I was disappointed by the actual level of resolution, quality of overall streaming, and AI performance. The resolution is inferior, even when the highest is selected on a good bandwidth. The quality of streaming is often slow and doesn't load. Uploading videos for shared files can take hours. When you have a video wall going, it depends on the browser for formatting and refreshing. It would be nice if separate software could display a video wall in real-time with no lag and always be on. I have a restaurant, and keeping a video wall going all day for surveillance is tough. The AI performance often doesn't capture license plates from far away and doesn't recognize multiple faces of the same person very well. It also displays lots of upside-down faces and doesn't adjust the photo around. I gave up trying to utilize AI. I wanted to use AI mostly to see when an employee showed up for work and when they were visible on camera on a given day. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating an investigation and sharing it with law enforcement is saving me time compared to how I used to do it on my old system. Video walls are easy to put together and gives me flexibility for different views. ### 28. And as much as counter productive to the what I like best part, it might not be a bad idea to offer some physical storage media for those end users who would prefer to not use cloud. This would open the market to the company further to allow for additional revenue for those customers who are a bit more resistant to change into the cloud and prefer the physical storage options instead. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rhombus is solving the need for storage but a resistance to having on site equipment to store their recordings. It's probably not meant to be a configuration app but instead just live time monitoring.
