My Account Executive, Emily Venable, as well as the rest of the RS team always go above an beyond to make sure that I am a satisfied customer. The Rhombus Console is easy to learn and easy to use. I can access my systems even when I am on the road using my phone. Set your own alerts, roles, permissions, maps/floorplans, facial/license plate recognition, and policies. Nothing could be simpler. I highly recommend Rhombus Systems if you are looking to change over from your old/antiquated NVR system. You won't be disappointed. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** My boss said I have to wait for my current NVRs to fail before I can switch to Rhombus Systems. :) **Recommendations to others considering Rhombus:** Recommend taking the time to perform a trial of their products. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy access to all my location's cameras, faster installs, higher quality video, quick capture and sharing of video clips with Managers and Law Enforcement (What used to take hours, now takes minutes). Biggest Benefit: Time - Installation: I can view the camera I just installed on my phone and make adjustments without having to climb down a ladder, go to the NVR, go back up the ladder, repeat as needed. - Ease of Access: Quick saves and sharing of clips. ### 17. An outstanding video and security platform for businesses **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Marc L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020 **What do you like best about Rhombus?** The things I like best about Rhombus systems are that everything 'just works', their UI is very well thought out and easy to use, the system is built to manage multiple locations remotely and they are constantly adding new features. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** I was a very early adopter and their prices have gone up since then. **Recommendations to others considering Rhombus:** If you run a business and you want a camera system that is easy to use, 'just works' and is constanly adding new features, get Rhombus. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** I own a business with multiple locations that requires video surveillance in every room. Rhombus cameras allow me to manage a lot of cameras with almost no effort at all. We still have one location that runs on a legacy NVR (closed circuit) camera system with remote log in. The software client is an absolute bear (resource hog, terribly unintuitive UI, slow) and the system is constantly needing restarts or troubleshooting. The locations with Rhombus cameras have needed exactly zero maintenance in a little over two years. They update their firmware automatically. I can add users, managers and administrators and give them privileges at a very discreet level. The UI is fast and super easy to use--I have not had to train any users as they are able to figure it out on their own. ### 20. The tech support is great solving issues and building features to solve problems as needed. Rhombus rarely breaks and is easy to set up. The user experience is phenomenal. The price is the most affordable we’ve seen. And it has all the bells and whistles we could ask for. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** I dislike very little. It needs to be connected to the internet- occasionally a nuisance getting connected. The caveat on that is that it can go offline and stay recording for some period. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have built a technical platform on top of Rhombus. A very scalable solution. It’s like AWS for cameras. We have been able to build technology on top of their technology easily to create very valuable solutions with a reliable and easily maintained system. I've managed security cameras at a few places before, and they're always a pain. Rhombus makes it super simple to manage all of them, view live video, and share it with other people if I need to. At the end of the day, they make everything so simple that I don't need to worry about it which is great. **What do you dislike about Rhombus?** I really can't think of too much as it's been much more than I expected from a cloud camera system. I'd like to see a few more options for cameras I guess. **What problems is Rhombus solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking for an easy solution to provide video security at a few of our offices and just make sure everything around them is safe and secure. Furthermore, we wanted to be able to easily share video in case there were ever any incidents which we've had previously. Rhombus makes it super simple to easily search through video and find any potential issues. Past systems I've used were really difficult to do that, and then to share that video was really difficult. ### 22.
