It is very lightweight. You can run it on a Mac or PC with low specs. It is fast compared to other software. It is one of the best tools for surfacing forms and creating parametric patterns. It doesn't have a structural functionality. It is more of a shaping tool (surfacing,shaping, forming) rather than a building tool(assemblies, stacking forms,adding,subtracting,shaping,surfacing,forming). Cannot be used for creating assemblies.It is not readily parametric but you can add grasshopper to your workflow and make it parametric. It is not easy to use . I don't like that when I have newer files I cant open them in my previos versions unless I convert them. But other than that the tools is very versatil.
