I love the transcript feature!!! One of the other things I appreciated about Rewatch is its user-friendly interface. It's intuitive and easy to navigate, making it accessible for users of all experience levels. You can quickly get the hang of it without any hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You really need to organize your own content and make sure things are easy to find, the app is only as good as the content you upload to it. Other than than I'm pretty stumped on the negatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This feature that I find most interesting in Rewatch is that it helps me make categorization of videos. For usage it is very simple with the option of basic searches and particularly identification of distinct recording. I appreciate that it works with other platforms like Slack or Trello because it allows to share video links as part of the project’s progress. It makes it easy to refer to some vital discussions or training sessions since one does not have to go through many files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are very few editing functionalities available for Rewatch. Although it is quite efficient for making video categorizations and sharing videos with other users, the procedures for videos’ annotations and other changes are not very efficient. This can however slow us down whenever we are trying to bring attention to some features or erase some parts of the recording. Further, the search function rarely yields the exact results envisioned, and allows for inconvenient and time-consuming sifting through of content that might interrupt the normal working day. I like Rewatch because it archives videos and it’s easy to search for past meeting recordings or training sessions, whenever you need them. In addition, the platform pairs nicely with Slack that allows me to share video links with the team without disrupting our work smooth and fast. With this, we’ve done away with the need to ask for the resources, in the time saved, we’ve learnt to communicate better and lastly, we’ve made sure that we are all in the same page. The downside to Rewatch is it doesn’t have many customization options for how you organize video content and sometimes it’s hard to keep content sorted as your library grows over time. The search function is good, but could have better filters to make looking for a specific video a little easier. However, these issues make it more difficult to find content quickly, sometimes slowing down our workflow when we’re looking for remote meeting past notes or discussion. The most impressive thing about Rewatch is the number of options that make collaboration with the team easier. The use of meetings to record and review helps everyone to be informed even those who cannot attend live meetings. I also like tagging options that allows us to highlight some moments for future reference. The process of sharing clips with other members of the team is problems free especially when done through the team’s working platform, Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the inconveniences of Rewatch is that there is no ability to customize the approach to handling video libraries. In the growth of our library there is tendency of creating difficulties in categorizing meetings. There are always ways to workaround it to keep things nicely organized at the cost of an additional step in the work process. It would be more convenient if we had more control over the arrangement of the content by, for example, tags or categories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As much as I appreciate Rewatch, the feature I enjoy most is it pulling our video content into a single app. I like that by using the search function we can jump to a specific frame in a video within a few seconds. Further, it dovetails nicely with our project management software, allowing us to seamlessly include videos in related tasks and discussions. This integration has improved on the way we handle and retrieve important information in our work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A disadvantage of Rewatch is that it may take time to load, especially when it comes to large video files, which might prove quite inconvenient during rapid reviews. The layout of the application is rather primitive in this case and does not offer some intuitive means for navigation which would be helpful within the context of the application. This can end up being counterproductive since team members spend a large amount of time trying to find and using the features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked how efficient it is for sharing recorded videos and managing all our content in general and that we saved a lot of time and that we are leveraging the content and it became a valuable tool for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Perhaps some aspects could be improved and some limitations could be eliminated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favourite thing about Rewatch is when the ability to tag and assign categories to the videos as this helps in organizing and finding the videos. One of the main advantages is that it offers precise further data regarding the degree of the videos’ usage, which allows selecting more appealing content or improve our perception on the ways the recorded videos are being engaged with. The above features greatly improve our functionality and productivity of the videos that we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
However, there are some issues in Rewatch they are that the upload speed for large video files is slower and sometimes it gets error. Furthermore, although the tagging system is very effective, it may be very difficult for users to set it up especially the first time they are using it. Some of these issues affect the flow of work by creating some barriers which need to be addressed in order to be overcome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is noteworthy, however, that compared to other video content platforms, Rewatch particularly stands out in the recording and management of video content with the help of the detailed search. This feature is especially helpful for searching for specific time frames in extensive videos like conferences or seminars. Another advantage is the integration with the Slack communication tool, which makes it easy to post links to videos in a discussion with the team what is convenient to make all the necessary information available at hand. The main disadvantage of using Rewatch is the fact that it allows only basic editing of the videos. However, there are some flaws, for instance the platform records and organizes content well, but there are no features that enable cropping or annotating videos. This is a drawback because it means that, for editing purposes, we have to use other software that means additional steps and possibly, time loss due to using different programs. For me, the best feature about Rewatch for me, is that just how simple it is to categorize, upload and share all the meetings I have recorded. This is well illustrated by the search feature which enables the finding of specific topics or discussions in the recordings within no time. It has been particularly beneficial when one participates in a meeting and another wants to review particular discussion. This also makes it possible to easily find and share video with the other integrated communication tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A disadvantage of Rewatch is that transcription accuracy is not very high, using technical terms or various accents may cause some additional mistakes that the user has to fix themselves. The user interface is also slightly subpar here, as it is not intuitive enough and it may sometimes take a while to locate particular components. These issues have sometimes affected our workflow especially when one wants to regain or revisit a particular piece of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like Rewatch most because it organizes video content and has tools for timestamping and commenting. These tools enable one to highlight specific areas that one wants to go to later or write notes on the video, which is particularly instrumental in saving time because one does not have to play the entire clip to get to a specific segment. This functionality has greatly enhanced our capability in reviewing and utilizing the video content promoted to us particularly for meetings and training purposes. There are issues that come with the mobile app version of Rewatch especially in terms of functionality on low network bandwidth. That is why timestamping and commenting may be beneficial, but it is less stable, especially on mobile devices, it may require occasional syncing and takes longer time in loading. This is not very convenient particularly when one wants to access specific sections of the video when on the move. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my view, the strength of Rewatch is that it compiles and categorises videos from different meetings and training. It has a searching option that allows us to find specific issues of interest as opposed to going through long videos. Another advantage is compatibility with our project management tools such as Asana where you can link related videos right to the tasks. This integration has been of great help and has contributed a lot towards improving our organizational efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rewatch also has some drawbacks, one of which is the ability to search for content. It is perfect when it comes to simple search strings, but when it comes to more complicated or even subtle keywords it can falter. This can be rather irritating when I am searching for some specific information and sometimes it takes me a longer time than usual to get what I want. Also, the video brings some latency issues which makes it worse especially when attending long meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
