"Exceptional Design Precision, Needs Performance Boost"
5/5
What do you like best about Revit?

I like Revit for its 3D modeling and visuals, which make it easier for me to understand proportions and spot design conflicts early. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revit?

It tends to lag when the file gets large, and the customization options can sometimes feel a bit rigid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"REVIT helps maximize each designers true potential and efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about Revit?

REVIT saves time compared to AutoCAD. Annotation is quick and easy. Reduces overall time dedicated to each project. The ability to collaborate and have multiple designers working on a single project also saves time and gets the project completed on time or even early. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revit?

There are many ways to accomplish the same goal or task within REVIT, and this can be confusing. Also, REVIT has so many capabilities that it is sometimes hard to remember where to go to complete the command or task. Lastly, I really wish that tag leaders could/would snap to the ends of a dimension extension line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"REVIT BEST TOOL"
5/5
What do you like best about Revit?

What I like best about Revit is the way it centralizes the entire design and documentation process into one coordinated model. The ability to link drawings, schedules, and 3D views in real time saves an incredible amount of time and reduces errors. I also appreciate how flexible it is when collaborating across disciplines—structural, MEP, and architectural models can all be integrated seamlessly. Overall, it makes complex projects much more efficient and accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revit?

What I dislike about Revit is that it can be very resource-intensive and sometimes runs slowly on larger, more complex models. The learning curve is also quite steep for new users, and some workflows still feel less intuitive than they could be. Additionally, while the software is powerful, certain updates and improvements often come slower than expected Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best software for architects"
5/5
What do you like best about Revit?

Easy to create building models once you get to know it. I like the real time integration between floor plans, elevations and sections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revit?

The autodesk construction cloud is not very user friendly. Lots of options and different ways to get the same results. It is a bit confusing, and it needs upgrading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate MEP Design Made Easy, But Revit Compatibility Needs Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Revit?

I work in the MEP industry, and I think one of its best advantages is that I can be sure I am placing the pipes, equipment and devices in a accurate scale. And also I can coordinate the vertical routes in common areas since the beginning, and most importantly define the mounting height or necessary space of every system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revit?

I think one of its most well known disadvantages is its poor compatibility with different Revit versions. It gets difficult to manage different IFC files in multidisciplinary teams and workflows between companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best program for modeling"
5/5
What do you like best about Revit?

Revit is a truly amazing program for modeling construction projects. For users, it is very easy to use, and the integration is done really well by transferring the old CAD standards of companies to the new BIM technologies. The learning curve of the program is highly progressive due to the need to use it every day, which facilitates its implementation in companies that are starting to use it. The number of options available in this tool is very good, allowing us to model most of the disciplines involved in building construction without any problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revit?

What I like least about the program is that the appearance of mechanical elements such as ventilation ducts and plumbing channels cannot be modeled according to manufacturing standards regarding the length of the elements that are part of a mechanical network.
