What do you like best about Revit MEP?

Currently in the BIM services the Revit MEP software provides the flexibility to work with parametric system families. Which will help to save your time and cost factor. We can create the 3D model with help of design documents and construction documents. We can plan the construction process and resolve the issues before the construction starts. What do you dislike about Revit MEP?

Reviewing the 3D model is not easy in Revit MEP, due to large files size it will take time to review the model. Instead of Revit, we require the Navis work to review the 3D models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Revit MEP?

The most helpful feature is easy MEP systems and components access. Revit MEP delivers a complete package. All construction documents can be designed and produced with utmost efficiency and in quick time. Revit MEP delivers 100% on maintaining quality MEP drawings. What do you dislike about Revit MEP?

Efficient Model coordination and clash coordination is not possible in Revit MEP. Revit updates do not bring any new changes or feature additions in sync with changing design landscape across BIM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revit MEP solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am solving construction coordination and detail design between MEP - Arch/SE domains. The main benefit is smooth coordination and project implementation from concept to construction. The library of MEP families is also a plus point. Revit MEP promotes consistent delivery standards across the teams. Accurate quantification of all items used within the project can be done with ease. All the critical design information can be embedded in the project elements. The various output format option and drawings export are also very helpful. Revit MEP has helped me creating productive design review meetings, with issues easily identified and quickly resolved. Multiple people working and coordinating on the same project at the same time is a boon. Model development into fabrication stages is a great industrial optimization and effective tool. What do you like best about Revit MEP?

for MEP and ACS department modeling and coordination is quite easy .

for BIM industry it is really helpful to get schedule , family creation, Quantity take off etc.

few cones are also present like processing time is little bit more than AutoCAD.

it's interface not so friendly as per user prespective.

sometimes it creates few fittings automatically which can not be created in fabrication shops.
