## Revit LT Reviews
  ### 1. We would like our engineers to use Revit Lt, vs full on Revit, but some of the functions are limited

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Revit LT?**

We like that our engineers can access the model and navigate around during the design phase without having to get a full Revit license.

**What do you dislike about Revit LT?**

It would be great if our engineers could add some 2d detailing to sections/plans etc. and be able to save their work.

**Recommendations to others considering Revit LT:**

Cost vs Full Revit license

**What problems is Revit LT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to use Revit LT to eliminate duplication of work.

  ### 2. Revit Lt trial

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Revit LT?**

first step before go to Revit and cheaper than Revit. Almost feature similar with Revit. But collaboration feature was deleted. Suit for one man or small business.

**What do you dislike about Revit LT?**

If need to collaboration or link model to other is hard to apply.

**What problems is Revit LT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just use the feature that Revit LT had. Sample: use this for create family or collaboration by other software such as Naviswork

  ### 3. lacks from full version

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Revit LT?**

gets users started in revit and the price point is more reasonable

**What do you dislike about Revit LT?**

does not have a lot of valuable tools needed for productive design

**What problems is Revit LT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

gets users started in bim environment

  ### 4. It's the go-to architectural drafting software for Millennials

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2017

**What do you like best about Revit LT?**

Two key command shortcuts, white background, easy to work with multiple perspectives using tiles screens.

**What do you dislike about Revit LT?**

Cannot access structural or MEP tools or functionality within the architectural Revit Lite platform, cannot create in-place custom families.

**Recommendations to others considering Revit LT:**

It's the cheapest option and is offered as a monthly subscription, I recommend it for customers looking into a pilot project.

**What problems is Revit LT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It blends the early schematic design approach of Sketchup with the CD level documentation on AutoCAD, and I can edit one model to update all views.

  ### 5. Simplified Revit

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Revit LT?**

Runs faster than normal Revit, has architectural modeling and rendering capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Revit LT?**

Sometimes I'll run into issues where I need capabilities of normal Revit.

**Recommendations to others considering Revit LT:**

Affordable choice compared to the full Revit version, but lacking in capabilities.

**What problems is Revit LT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Revit modeling at a more affordable price.

  ### 6. Powerful program, yet can be difficult to learn & master.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew R. | Architectural Designer, Architecture & Planning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Revit LT?**

Integration between 3D design and 2D production. Nice looking visual production & line weights.

**What do you dislike about Revit LT?**

Not a very intuitive program. Even simple tasks can turn into roadblocks that may take a long time to resolve.

**Recommendations to others considering Revit LT:**

Definitely requires some formal training. Is helpful to have other staff available to help beginners with the program.

**What problems is Revit LT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program has many benefits the BIM offers, including being able to coordinate doors with schedules, etc.
