What do you like best about RevenueCat?

For a long time I have been looking for a solution for my apps and in-app purchases. Again and again I postponed the topic and preferred to continue without IAP. Until I came across RevenueCat. What do you dislike about RevenueCat?

I think a lot of frustration as an indie developer stems from the setup and configuration. To be completely fair ,this isn't RevenueCat's fault, app stores are a nightmare to work with, ever changing and unclear in their requirements. I think more SDK coverage would help this software solution reduce the barriers to entry for indie level developers, making the "express" route for developers as light touch as possible and improving their documentation to help users on this express path. I don't like the number of paywall templates. Very limited. Few templates and not very customizable by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?

The comprehensive management of in-app subscriptions, paywall integration, and the ability to run paywall tests save me a lot of time and help me identify the most effective strategy for optimizing them. Specifically, not having to design the paywall graphics, as they are already provided by RevenueCat, is an incredibly useful feature for saving time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RevenueCat?

I implemented in-app subscriptions in my app without any hassle. The API is clean and the documentation is complete. RevenueCat does the work that Apple and Google have handed over to developers. What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am an indie developer developing apps with Flutter. I wanted to add a subscription feature to earn extra revenue. I asked a friend who had implemented in-app subscriptions using Apple and Google APIs. He told me it took him a month because he had to implement both client and server-side code, and even then, the subscription periods were inconsistent.
