The best parts about Revenova are the customization options, including page layouts, profile/user management, permissions structures, and integration potential. What I dislike most about Revenova TMS is that its various customizations within the Salesforce platform can trigger all sorts of errors and problems that can be tedious to diagnose. Certain features will spontaneously stop working with updates (i.e. LaneIQ, Freight Plan related things). Another thing worth mentioning is that it is rather resource-intensive to manage optimally. As a relatively small broker, Shaker does not have a large development or IT resources with which to construct solutions. What we’ve found challenging about Revenova is understanding how to set up configurations on our own. It feels somewhat complex at a “programming” level, because for example, generating a report involves many different elements, and if some of them aren’t in place, they need to be configured. But configuring them isn’t straightforward—you have to go into other submenus, and it’s not very intuitive.
