Rev has quite simple and easy user interface and we use this software to auto generate correct subtitles for our video and audio files which we mostly upload on a daily basis. Some of our team members belong from different parts of the country and they also have different ascents. For those employees this software sometime convert the videos and audios into incorrect subtitles but the percentage of of accuracy has never gone below 80% till now. I really like how easy Rev is to use and the speed at which it's able to transcribe things. It takes minutes to do what would take me hours, if not days. I also really like the added AI summaries, which are helpful when I'm just trying to review something quickly. Another thing I like is how customizable Rev is for the transcripts, allowing them to be in a format that anyone on any system can use. I mostly use this platform for transcription of different type of videos that we make for our business and these videos are descriptive and detailed so we also need to add subtitles to them and this platform is quite accurate in terms of generating subtitles and translation for videos or audio files. The main challenge that I face while using rev is that when our videos are in high definition than it becomes very difficult for us to render them in this software and that time uploading speed also slows down and starts lagging. I like that Rev saves me a lot of time and aggravation when creating meeting notes. It helps me by transcribing my meetings properly, so I'm not doing all of that typing. The transcriptions really help me turn transcripts into meeting notes and submit accurate information. It helps me avoid re-listening to recordings to get the correct information and nuances. I don't like that Rev doesn't understand dialects well. If someone has some type of accent, it doesn't pick up on words appropriately. So I have to listen to the recording and correct the transcription Rev created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Rev to transcribe meetings and find the process incredibly efficient. Being able to record on my phone and receive a transcript within minutes adds significant efficiency to my workflow. Rev is one of the smoothest transcription platform available in the market. This software completely works online and has accuracy of more than 95%. Automatic transcription feature of this tool is not that accurate mainly when the sound quality is not that clear and in those cases the manual editing is required while adding subtitles to the video files and it also needs 5g internet connection to function smoothly.
