Here is some information on batch migrations which we hope you find helpful: The behavior of the Rev-Trac batch migration job depends on the setup of the job variant. Specifically, the "Stop if RC greater than" field determines when the job halts if a migration returns a code higher than the specified value (default is 9999). If the job is cancelled due to an import failure, remaining transports stay in the migration queue. Additionally, you can create an over-ride (UNBLOCK_BATCH_MIG_UTL_FOR_RC) to allow the utility to continue processing for return codes exceeding the set threshold. Simplicity in configuring and everything within SAP GUI screen makes it even better.

"Effortless Change Tracking,more control on transports"

What do you like best about Rev-Trac?

Rev-trac brought a disciplined approach to promoting SAP changes across the environments.

Rich features are built into the product to help users organize transports and club changes cleanly.

The ability to configure multiple swimlanes is handy from a scalability standpoint.

Safety checks such as OOPS and PODS are useful during big releases.

Developers use various reports, such as Comparision and migration reports, to gain insights into the code being promoted.

What do you like best about Rev-Trac?

Rev-Trac is a very flexible tool that has allowed us to manage complex SAP landscapes with minimal maintenance.

Great security model.

Thanks to the Rev-trac team, the implementation was seamless and also provided enough knowledge transfer that overall we have been able to support the tool and make changes to further adapt it to our growing landscapes.

What do you dislike about Rev-Trac?

We originally wanted a feature to skip OOPS checks for TOCs but I believe this is now a feature of more recent releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rev-Trac solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to spend a significant amount of time assembling our production release. It is now seamless, takes less than an hour and with the integration with ServiceNow we have a process that it's also compliant with our change management processes.

Our major releases have also been significantly improved due to the ability to track all changes and associate them with a specific feature to be deployed.

We have also empowered our business analysts and developers to make changes and have the ability to test them in our non-production environments without needing interaction from the technical team on every single transport.
