## Restream Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is Restream free, or does it offer a free trial?

Restream does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

How much does Restream cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Restream pricing in 2026 starts at $49.00 and can reach $239.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Restream's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Restream pricing best suited for?

Restream's pricing is best suited for small businesses and independent creators, who represent the overwhelming majority of G2 reviewers. The Professional tier at $49.00/month fits solo streamers, content creators, podcasters, and small media or marketing teams needing reliable multi-platform delivery without complex infrastructure. Religious institutions, nonprofits, and e-learning operators appear frequently in G2 reviews at this tier. The Business tier at $239.00/month suits growing media teams, agencies, and mid-market organizations running parallel events or requiring dedicated account management. Enterprise pricing targets large media and tech teams needing SSO, custom clipping, and internal Slack streaming. Budget-constrained organizations, particularly nonprofits, flag the Business tier as potentially cost-prohibitive.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Restream?

Restream offers a free tier with notable restrictions that G2 reviewers flag regularly. Free users face limited channel destinations, no Facebook page streaming, restricted recording storage (15-day retention, no saves over 6 hours), and watermarked Studio output. Restream's paid plans begin at $49.00/month (Professional), unlocking Full HD 1080p streaming to 5 simultaneous channels, 4K recording, RTMP pull links, and split feed downloads. The Business tier at $239.00/month adds 8 channels, SRT streaming, RTMP source input, stream backup, live clipping, parallel events, and a website player. Enterprise pricing is custom and includes SSO, SRT ingest, unlimited upload, and Slack streaming for internal communications.

Is Restream considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly consider Restream good value, with the majority giving 4.5 to 5.0 ratings. Phrases like 'most bang for the buck,' 'saving a minimum of $20 a month compared to competitors,' and 'fair modular pricing' appear repeatedly. The Professional tier at $49.00/month draws praise from heavy users streaming across multiple platforms. However, cost concerns surface consistently: some G2 users find the jump to Business at $239.00/month steep, one nonprofit called it 'unsustainable,' and a small business owner criticized the gap between entry and mid tiers for storage needs. Reviewers comparing Restream to StreamYard note Restream's subscription tiers run pricier, particularly for Studio branding removal.

"User-Friendly but Limited Storage is a Deal-Breaker"

1/5

What do you like best about Restream?

I find Restream highly valuable for my podcast and video content management. The platform's user-friendly interface is incredibly appreciated, which makes recording interviews with guests ahead of time a breeze. It seamlessly integrates with platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, allowing me to easily livestream the prerecorded content. I appreciate how straightforward it is to extract audio and video files for repurposing content, enhancing the usability for creating diverse multimedia outputs. The $19 per month plan struck me as cost-effective, meeting all my basic functional needs without breaking the bank. Setting up Restream was a delight, as it was extraordinarily simple to connect to my social channels without any hassle. Restream efficiently addresses the need to record audio and video interviews and allows for livestreaming them later, adding convenience to my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Restream?

I'm frustrated with Restream because they don't allow me to store my recordings for more than fifteen days. This limitation forces me to export and then reupload the files to schedule a live event at a later date, which is time-consuming and annoying. Additionally, the video files are too large to reupload within the platform's limits, requiring me to find another program to condense the files. This process is not only cumbersome but also frustrating enough that I decided to cancel my Restream account. I asked them multiple times if they could do anything to help me but their only recommendations was that I upgrade from my $19/month plan to their $199/month plan so that I could store videos for 30 days instead of only 15. This is not feasible for a small business owner like me who doesn't need all the other functionality that comes with that large of a plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Restream to efficiently record and livestream audio and video interviews, then repurpose the content. Its user-friendly setup simplifies the process of live streaming and extracting files for further use on platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
