"Easy Collaboration and Intuitive Content Management"

4/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I find Responsive very easy to use. I appreciate how straightforward and organized the content library appears, and I believe the collaborative features, particularly when working on projects, make it a valuable tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

For those who don't use responsive on a daily basis, interacting with the tool can be challenging. I often find myself spending considerable time assisting them as they navigate the learning curve. Additionally, I believe some of the editing features could be improved, such as having side-by-side track changes during editing. I've also encountered a few issues with version control that have slowed down my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

This tool helps us stay organized by keeping everything in one place. It enables people throughout the organization to access the information they need quickly and easily. Personally, I have found the content library especially beneficial, as it has helped us make our answers shorter, easier to read, and more accessible to everyone. Previously, information was buried in lengthy, segmented documents, making it difficult to find what we needed. Now, with everything consolidated, we can clearly see improvements in the quality of our content. While it’s not perfect, our answers are now stronger and more accurate, rather than just being an overwhelming information dump. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Ask Feature and Smooth Workflows—Just Missing Dark Mode in Content Library"

3/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

The sections most used by our team include the Content Library, the Projects management workflow, and the Ask feature. The Ask feature is particularly useful for sorting through thousands of Q/A pairs to stitch together comprehensive responses that can be credibly cited and sourced from our knowledge base and documents. It's a huge timesaver and intuitive to use, and helps increase AI literacy amongst our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

My one big complaint is that I'm unable to apply dark mode to the Content Library view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

Responsive is a centralized repository for product and security related articles across our entire product line. This helps us save time and reduces the amount of hours we would otherwise spend sifting through documents, previously completed proposals, and outdated pages in our internal knowledge base. Really it's just a shortcut for our daily work, enabling us to work smarter not harder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tremendous tool to use and it has valued our team from the start of the implementation process."

5/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

The AI functionality to complete projects has helped our organization a lot. It is fabulous how easy it is to put in a new project questionnaire and have the questions answered with about 80% accuracy.

Running RFPs/RFIs through the section templates build has cut down the process time by half.

Adding content to the library is way easier than the software we had before.

Our integration process was great, great employees to work with at Responsive for the onboarding. Customer support is very prompt and helpful all the time when an issue arises.

My entire team uses Responsive constantly and praises how great this has changed our process. The frequency at which Responsive is utilized is constant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

We have encountered a couple of roadblocks when utilizing another instance to complete our questionnaires, which is in the works to have something presented to us.

We are also working on the ability to use a SharePoint link to preview our standard and global policies from another collection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adding Q&A content has increased the AI's thinking and has benefited us by reducing the turnaround in completion of our projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Responsive was everything we didn't know we needed"

5/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Until we invested in Responsive, we had many different teams across our organization using different tools for RFPs, or even worse, no tools. Responsive helped us find a productive solution for our complicated yet successful global organization. Within one account, we can tailor our libraries to the specific business and audience. We can protect data from other business units as well, ensuring we protect the integrity of the data required to produce high-value proposals. The AI feature has also allowed us to move quickly, giving us more time to tailor and perfect responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Every now and then, we run into some bugs from an integration standpoint or AI data pulling from incorrect business units. Thankfully, our CSM has been very responsive and helpful when these situations occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

Responsive supports organization of the RFP allowing for better collaboration across our team. Responsive's AI feature also allows us to move quickly enabling our powerhouse of a team to spend time on the details vs having to move quickly through the entire project. Overarchingly, Responsive has allowed our global corporation the opportunity to use one tool across the different business units successfully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Limited Entitlements Eliminate Value of Legacy Software"

0/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Previously, Responsive was able to consolidate the market with an unlimited users and projects model. They now moved away from this and are rapidly shifting to a model of nickeling and diming customers for blocks of 10 (both users and projects), resulting in exorbitant fees in comparison to the value the tool actually offers my company. We have a revolving door of Account Reps as well who are entirely indifferent to our needs and issues. Responsive failed in converting many of their customers to capped entitlements, and has inconsistent pricing and licensing in the market as a result. Other customers are paying comparable fees to my company for 2k+ users vs. the 90 that my company was allotted. The tool is not intuitive or easy to use. Even with 90 users that have been enabled, less than 1/3 regularly use it. And when they do use it, they need help from me to be effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Responsive is now considered a legacy content management solution whose AI capabilities pale in comparison to basic ad-hoc GenAI tools that are homegrown. It's also significantly more expensive and less broadly adopted in comparison to the AI tools that can replace it. We've eliminated a lot of wasted time by shifting our resource investments for RFPs away from RFPIO content management, toward GenAI tools that produce better responses with more efficient content models. Do not sign with them longer than one year!! The technology is quickly becoming obsolete in the face of rapid AI evolution. We're on the hook wasting money over the next three years so wanted to share my knowledge with others having similar conversations with Responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

Now that they have moved to a capped entitlements model and AI technology has evolved, there are firmly 0 benefits the software provides. I write better quality RFPs faster using GenAI tools that cost less and are more widely adopted across the enterprise than Responsive. This approach also saves weeks worth of time not having to upkeep a traditional content library with structured governance models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
