The best thing about Responsive is that it has made answering RFPs, RFQs so easy and efficient. Additionally, the AI feature which has been recently introduced is a game changer for sure. "Powerful (sometimes overly-powerful) platform that could use a UI update, but solid bang for buck"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

The various methods to extract information from our content library into the answers - use their AI, their keyword similarity search, assign authors, or upload documents directly. Updating content library is not bad, you can export the Q&A library easily, which is good for maintenance and clean up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Has too many buttons and sections. Overall their UI needs work as it's quite busy, and most icons can be added to a single toolbar that should be collapsible, not spread across the entire screen. I think they have too many different views for most RFP purposes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

We receive multiple types of RFPs from our clients given we serve government agencies, universities, global customers, compliance teams, other cybersecurity vendors, etc. We need to have an AI that understands there are different tones for how to answer a question, and we need to take control manually conveniently given the nuances of our product and how customers interpret our features. We enjoy that RFPIO is mostly easy to use, but it does seem like overkill for our needs. If you have significant number of teams that are all involved at the same time, this tool would be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Collaboration and Analytics, but Steep Learning Curve and Search Limitations"

4/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Responsive stands out for its intuitive interface and seamless collaboration features, which make managing RFPs and proposal content incredibly efficient. The centralized content library and smart search capabilities help us quickly locate and reuse high-quality responses, saving time and ensuring consistency. Its integration with other enterprise tools like CRM systems enhances workflow automation and reduces manual effort. I particularly appreciate the real-time collaboration, which allows cross-functional teams to contribute effectively, improving both speed and accuracy in proposal submissions. The platform’s analytics and reporting tools also provide valuable insights into team performance and win rates, helping us continuously refine our strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

While Responsive offers powerful features for proposal management, there are a few areas that could be improved. The learning curve can be steep, especially for new users unfamiliar with the platform’s structure. Some users find the interface unintuitive, making it difficult to locate content or navigate uploaded files efficiently. Additionally, the search functionality can be frustrating when trying to find exact phrases or answers, and the AI-generated responses sometimes lack accuracy or depth, requiring manual corrections. There’s also room for improvement in customization options, such as saved searches and auto-banking of answers, which could enhance usability and flexibility for diverse teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

Responsive is solving several key challenges in the RFP and proposal management process:

Content Centralization: It eliminates the chaos of scattered proposal content by providing a centralized repository. This ensures consistency and saves time when responding to similar questions across multiple RFPs.

Collaboration Across Teams: Responsive enables seamless collaboration between pre-sales, solution design, and other stakeholders. This reduces bottlenecks and improves response quality by allowing subject matter experts to contribute directly.

Automation and Efficiency: The platform automates repetitive tasks like answer suggestion and auto-response banking, which significantly speeds up the proposal creation process.

Version Control and Tracking: It helps track changes, maintain version history, and ensure compliance with internal standards, which is crucial for maintaining quality and audit readiness.

Analytics and Insights: Responsive provides valuable metrics on response times, win rates, and content usage, helping teams refine their strategies and improve performance over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplified RFP Process with Room for Improvement"

4/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I love the ease of use of Responsive, formerly RFPIO, which helps us save time. We've been able to cut down on RFP completion time from our old processes. It's easy to collaborate on projects across several markets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Moving sections or questions after creation can be wonky if they're in the wrong place. The AI function could be smarter and more savvy to industry trends and knowledge. More format consistency or formatting options would be nice, like a full text ribbon with more fonts, font sizes, alignment options, etc. It would be appreciated if more projects were allowed at once. What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Responsive for organization, addressing collaboration issues, and leveraging the asset library to avoid starting from scratch. The AI features assist me too. It's easy to use, saving time and allowing seamless collaboration across markets, reducing RFP completion time significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
