"Positive Experience with Responsive as a Solution Engineer"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

As a Solution Engineer at IDnow, I really appreciate several standout features of Responsive. The ability to import RFPs directly from Excel sheets is a game-changer—it saves me a ton of time by allowing quick uploads and immediate action on large datasets. The automated collaborator reminders are also fantastic, ensuring that team inputs are gathered efficiently, even across distributed teams. On top of that, the intuitive interface makes collaboration seamless, which is crucial for coordinating the technical responses I handle daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

As a Solution Engineer at IDnow, there’s not much I dislike about Responsive, but there are a couple of areas that could use improvement. Sometimes, the search functionality within the content library feels a bit inconsistent, making it tricky to quickly find the most relevant answers, especially when dealing with a large volume of data. "Intuitive Platform with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I really appreciate how Responsive, formerly RFPIO, empowers me with the ability to ask questions without the need to be in a specific document, which is indispensable during client interactions. This feature allows me to confidently provide accurate information by searching through comprehensive resources, eliminating the need for constant consultations with product managers. Another aspect I find extremely valuable is the delegation capability within RF documents. This functionality simplifies the task distribution process, ensuring clarity on responsibilities, and is crucial when managing tight deadlines with multiple team members. It prevents work duplication, thereby enhancing productivity. Overall, Responsive exhibits powerful features that integrate seamlessly into my workflow and streamline the RFP process. I also find that the platform's usability and reliability stand out, offering correct responses most of the time and making it easy to handle more or less the right answers in client engagements. What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I find the importing of projects and the flagging of questions to come back to not as intuitive or as good of a user experience as I would hope. There's also a specific issue with certain queries where it pops up and says it doesn't understand the question, even when it seems like something the system could potentially know the answer to. "Easy Collaboration and Intuitive Content Management"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I find Responsive very easy to use. I appreciate how straightforward and organized the content library appears, and I believe the collaborative features, particularly when working on projects, make it a valuable tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

For those who don't use responsive on a daily basis, interacting with the tool can be challenging. I often find myself spending considerable time assisting them as they navigate the learning curve. Additionally, I believe some of the editing features could be improved, such as having side-by-side track changes during editing. I've also encountered a few issues with version control that have slowed down my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tremendous tool to use and it has valued our team from the start of the implementation process."
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

The AI functionality to complete projects has helped our organization a lot. It is fabulous how easy it is to put in a new project questionnaire and have the questions answered with about 80% accuracy.

Running RFPs/RFIs through the section templates build has cut down the process time by half.

Adding content to the library is way easier than the software we had before.

Our integration process was great, great employees to work with at Responsive for the onboarding. Customer support is very prompt and helpful all the time when an issue arises.

My entire team uses Responsive constantly and praises how great this has changed our process. The frequency at which Responsive is utilized is constant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

We have encountered a couple of roadblocks when utilizing another instance to complete our questionnaires, which is in the works to have something presented to us.

We are also working on the ability to use a SharePoint link to preview our standard and global policies from another collection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Responsive was everything we didn't know we needed"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Until we invested in Responsive, we had many different teams across our organization using different tools for RFPs, or even worse, no tools. Responsive helped us find a productive solution for our complicated yet successful global organization. Within one account, we can tailor our libraries to the specific business and audience. We can protect data from other business units as well, ensuring we protect the integrity of the data required to produce high-value proposals. The AI feature has also allowed us to move quickly, giving us more time to tailor and perfect responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Every now and then, we run into some bugs from an integration standpoint or AI data pulling from incorrect business units. Thankfully, our CSM has been very responsive and helpful when these situations occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Limited Entitlements Eliminate Value of Legacy Software"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Previously, Responsive was able to consolidate the market with an unlimited users and projects model. They now moved away from this and are rapidly shifting to a model of nickeling and diming customers for blocks of 10 (both users and projects), resulting in exorbitant fees in comparison to the value the tool actually offers my company. We have a revolving door of Account Reps as well who are entirely indifferent to our needs and issues. Responsive failed in converting many of their customers to capped entitlements, and has inconsistent pricing and licensing in the market as a result. Other customers are paying comparable fees to my company for 2k+ users vs. the 90 that my company was allotted. The tool is not intuitive or easy to use. Even with 90 users that have been enabled, less than 1/3 regularly use it. And when they do use it, they need help from me to be effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Responsive is now considered a legacy content management solution whose AI capabilities pale in comparison to basic ad-hoc GenAI tools that are homegrown. It's also significantly more expensive and less broadly adopted in comparison to the AI tools that can replace it. We've eliminated a lot of wasted time by shifting our resource investments for RFPs away from RFPIO content management, toward GenAI tools that produce better responses with more efficient content models. Do not sign with them longer than one year!! The technology is quickly becoming obsolete in the face of rapid AI evolution. We're on the hook wasting money over the next three years so wanted to share my knowledge with others having similar conversations with Responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient, Easy-to-Use RFP Response Manager"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I am really impressed with Responsive, formerly RFPIO, due to its robust project management capabilities and the effective tagging system it provides. Setting it up was very easy, particularly with its support for Single Sign-On, making the initial transition seamless. The content library feature has been incredibly beneficial, allowing me to access all relevant content quickly and ensuring that the material I use for RFx responses is the most accurate and up-to-date. This organized system significantly enhances my workflow efficiency, allowing for easier collaboration with GenAI software to produce precise responses. Additionally, the functionalities related to questions and sections are very useful, helping streamline my processes. The ease of organizing content and having it readily available is a standout feature that influences my continued preference for Responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I dislike that Responsive does not currently allow to download excel questionnaires where the tool has the capability of selecting the most accurate responses for each question/ line of an Excel sheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Information Centralization"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I've been impressed with Responsive, formerly RFPIO, in several ways. First, the centralization of information is a standout feature. It houses all our frequently asked questions, PDFs, and other critical internal and customer-facing documents, making it effortless to search and retrieve necessary information at any time. This consolidation into one repository is a true game changer, vastly improving our efficiency and allowing us to focus on external customer engagements by minimizing the time spent searching in disparate folders or documents. I particularly appreciate the intuitive user interface and the smooth setup process, which was made easier by the responsive customer support team and the helpful self-navigation guides and tutorials. These elements collectively enhanced our onboarding experience, even though taking the course required additional payment. Additionally, the filters in Responsive allow me to quickly narrow down to the needed information, aligning it with our internal structures such as grade band or state, which is critical in my curriculum-focused work. The ability to customize these filters according to our needs is incredibly valuable. Moreover, the customer support is exceptional, consistently helpful and effective, which instills confidence in using the product. I also find the ease of adding Q&A pairs to be particularly beneficial, as it streamlines the process of updating and accessing the latest information for proposal responses and other functions. Overall, the ease of use, effectiveness of the filters, and the robust support are key reasons I would consider repurchasing Responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I do wish it was a little bit more intuitive in terms of searching. There have been a couple of times when I maybe have searched something like pricing, and it was listed in Responsive as price list as an example. So I wish that maybe things were a little bit more broad sometimes when I'm searching because sometimes I feel like I have to know the exact keyword in order to pull up the exact Q&A pair that I had in my brain. "Powerful AI and Filters, Importing Spreadsheets for creating projects need Improvement"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I have been using the AI features and it works very well. All to the powerful filters to sort content are very useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

The difficulty of importing excel spreadsheets when they are very complex as it is difficult to set up the fields and it is done with some order.

Also sometimes the system is slow, for example in the content library when copy and past contents into the search box, the system needs to load first and then you loose what you inserted first and you need to repeat your action. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Continuous Innovation for Content Management"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Responsive shines in ease-of-use and intuitive design for managing content and completing bids in the tool. AI integration has provided a massive boost to productivity and the team at Responsive is constantly soliciting feedback from users and making improvements that benefit all. Their client support is also better than any other SaaS platform I've used. We use the tool every day so it's helpful that it is so reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

On occasion, we have run into bugs and access issues, but the team has been "responsive" in getting us back online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
