**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

RFPIO makes it easier to standardize and answer the hundreds of questions we get in RFPs. It allows us to assign responsible parties and track the completion process.

As a subject matter expert on our product, it has significantly reduced the amount of time I spend on RFPs and I only get called in when there is a new question or weird wrinkle to the questions.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

I get a lot of notification emails to answer questions -- which is part of making our team accountable for completing their work.

Would like a feature that does not send notification emails on weekends or late at night.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us scale our RFP response process and it saves me time and helps make our company successful. We have an over 50% win rate since using RFPIO.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Help organize the questionnaiers and mainating order in back and forth.
Helpful communication between the parties.
Good KB managing options and versioning control

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

UI can be much better but the wekest point is the content reccomendation system. I would expect it to have at least some kind of AI and smart capabilities but unfortunately it's a key word matching syetm and it's doing a pretty poor job for a non standard qeustionnairs what makes the auto fill feature completely useless

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ownership, clear communication and contant managements around the InfoSec and RFP subjects

**Official Response from Susanne Taylor:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback about Responsive. We are pleased about the benefits you are experiencing from both the response management platform and the content database. We want to make sure you are receiving the full benefit from the content recommendation capabilities. Our content recommendation engine leverages two technologies:
	1. Natural Language Processing AI with active learning models, which learn from user activity and make smarter recommendations over time (Basic Answer Recommendation).
	2. GenAI that applies contextual understanding to provide semantic search results and content transformation (AI Assistant).
We ask that you reach out to your CSM and schedule some time to review your content library and allow them to offer some best practices, which should improve your content recommendation searches.

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Collaboration, easy of use, lots of features

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Cost per RFP response, prefer more options and packages.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration! Unlimited seats model is the best. Allows me to invite SMEs and other stakholders, not just RFP folks.

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> Thank you Peter! Our users have found that collaboration and the unlimited seat model is great as well. So, it's great to have you confirm that as well. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us this review.

  ### 12. The BEST choice for RFP Content Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Responsive is the tool of choice for content management for RFP Teams of any size. The project functionality is great for repetitive questionnaires like infosec questionnaires.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

We don't use but the project functionality for RFPs - we find they are too custom to leverage the project functionality effeciently, but the content management functions have improved our speed and accuracy immensely.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to centralize content management, with the ability to easily onboard SMEs - Responsive is so easy to use it was quickly adopted by SMEs across our organization.

  ### 13. A great platform to build a content library of bid responses. Ensuring consistency and saving time.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

The content library - Everything in one place. Quick responses from customer support if need guidance.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Depending on the style of RFX received from the client, the configuration of the document when importing into Responsive can be tricky and sometimes not a quicker option.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Containing all Q and As in one place. ease of effort to find responses, saving time.

  ### 14. Indispensable tool for answering RFPs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

The recommended responses are very helpful to look through and have everything organized. I like the function to farm out questions to SMEs.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

I do not like how small the text boxes are when answering RFPs. Sometimes I'm assigned to only a subset of questions and it's a bit confusing to navigate to only those questions.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content library, response recommendation, question assignments to SMEs

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> We appreciate you taking a moment to leave us this review. I've forwarded the text box issue to our development team to see what they could do about it. If you are confused about any navigation issues, please contact your CSM and they can provide any tips to make the process easier for you. Thank you.

  ### 15. Learning but feeling supportive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

I really enjoy the supportive resources available at Responsive University, they help to answer questions alongside the live workshops.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Marking up could be made more intuitive, the different answer types are a bit confusing.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps streamline applying answers using the content data base.

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> Our team has put a lot of work into Responsive University so this feedback is great. Regarding the answer types, if you reach out to your CM, they can provide some assistance in making the process more intuitive. Thank you!

  ### 16. Great Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin W. | Sr. Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

I love the ability to add RFP questions into the product and it to give me the answers I need
I also like the content library

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

It might have this capability but It would be great if I knew what answers had aged out

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time
Accurate responses
Spped to response

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> Thanks Austin for taking the time to leave us this wonderful review.

  ### 17. "Robust" is Right

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

There is usually a way to do something. It has happened many times that my team has said "I wonder if I can..." and, with some digging, the answer is almost always yes.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

There is one feature that would make Responsive perfect for my team. We collaborate on documents daily and if there were ever a feature in the future where multiple users can make edits on a document in-app, that would be stellar and a huge improvement on time.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Responsive allows my team to collaborate efficiently and in a centralized space. It lessens turn-around time and the amount of emails exchanged, and we like how it leaves a record of work that may be potentially reviewed in the future.

  ### 18. Kristen Cain-Ladison

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabrina F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Our Representitive, Kristen Cain-Ladison, with Responsive has been phenomenal. From someone who just started using this system, she has been extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Some of the formatting while exporting an RFP document was not correct and support was unable to fix the problem.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Responsive enables us to put together large documents for State Counties and allows our team to work on it together. This system saves us so much time and helps our process run more effecitvely and efficiently.

  ### 19. Solutions Consultant

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

I really enjoy the collaborative nature that Responsive Supports. It truly takes a village when responding to a potential client's RFP and so there are many people that are needed and being able to have multiple people working in the environment at the same time is critical.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

What I dislike about Responsive is not a direct result from the company, its from how my company uses the tool and doesn't take full advantage of all of the great features that Responsive has developed and built into the latform.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Responsive is helping us solve a problem of having a centralized location or depository for all of our work that is is in progress and that has been completed. The answer library has been a great resource for us when we have newer employees that get asked questions about our products and they can go to the library and search for what the answer might be. It also provides us with a status tracking tool for each project. No more having to create a one off checklist to see who has answered what and who is lagging behind on completing their assigned tasks.

  ### 20. If you're looking to manage the proposal process from start to finish, look no further.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Responsive/RFPIO is extremely customizable and flexible. The Responsive Staff are on a mission to continuously improve their product and take customer feedback into account.

There is a lot to learn initially with the software but, like anything, once you get the hang of it, it save so much time and hassle for my team. My favorite features are:

-Reporting Dashboard
-Custom Fields
-Hubspot Integration
-Categorizing
-Automatic reminders

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

My experience was that the training was geared more toward questionnaire-style proposals, and my company really only does Proactive Style proposals. The training staff was not really equipped to handle my questions or offer suggestions about how to use the software for proactive projects. I had to spearhead that effort myself and it would have been nice to have more expertise there.

Additionally, the way our organization uses the software relies heavily on the "Tasks" features and there are some errors in functionality on how that portion of the software works. We have found ways to work around it, but it would be nice to see some effort made to improve this area in the future.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, Responsive is assisting with some more patch changes to their reporting dashboard. We are excited about this change so we can provide more robust reports to help guide our RFP pursual efforts.

  ### 21. Helpful Tool for RFX Processes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Responsive makes content imports, curation and tagging an effortless process. Not only does this help with controlling our content it also provides our users a solid foundation for their RFx submissions. Like the name, the support team is also very responsive and replies to tickets in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Responsive does an excellent job notifying the user when a duplicate document is imported into the content library. I would love for the same notification or behavior to occur when a duplicate Q&A pair is added. Also, due to the UI changes the functionality of sharing specific Q&A pairs through search is no longer available. Having this feature back will be extremely helpful.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Responsive allows us to create a centralized library to assist our users in answering RFx submissions quicker and accurately. Projects are essential for collecting new content and in helping our strategists collaborate with others while staying organized throughout the RFx process.

  ### 22. Great Platform, very helpful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

How it matches questions based on previous content you uploaded to the platform. Saves me loads of time to fill out a new survey, questionairre, rfp, etc.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

NA, nothing really. It works well and does what I need it to do.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding and copying in previously answered questions. The manual process is quite tedious.

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> Thank you so much for this! We appreciate hearing from our customers and what they value with Responsive.

  ### 23. Well-structured tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

The user-friendliness of its design. I like the clarity that the overview dashboard provides, having all relevant information at hand without the dashboard being overloaded or too "busy". It's easy to delegate tasks within the tool, and it's generally easy to use and quite straight-forward.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Some of the automated emails sent by the RFPIO system do not have links (such as a link to the RFPIO case in question, or to a related opportunity in Salesforce) - this would be helpful and save time.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to structure and streamline processes that require input from different teams. It provides clarify on responsibility, and creates accountability.

  ### 24. Lifesaver, intuitive, lots of useful features, does not support online questionnaires

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

If you are like me who handle RFPs, security questionnaires and due diligence questionnaires day in and day out, you will love Responsive because it truly makes your life easier. No longer are the days when you share excel files over email or Google Drive to ask different SMEs to complete their questions - Responsive allows you to easily map offline questions (Excel, Word) into the tool and assign the questions out to various SMEs, who can go into Responsive to complete their questions. If you tag the users with the @ sign, they get notified about their tasks and messages via email. Responsive also sends automatic reminders to team members when the questionnaires are due soon, so it really does save a lot of work from my end. You can go into the project dashboard to check who have completed their questions and who haven't, what else is outstanding. Responsive integrates with Salesforce making it a streamlined process in my organization. You have the option to purchase the API for automated reporting. The Content Library is a great function to save Q&A pairs and the tool makes it very easy to populate answer fields with saved Q&A pairs. You can see how many times a Q&A pair have been used, when it was used recently, and add tags. Customer support is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Rsponsive is great for offline questionnairs but it doesn't really support online questionnaires. It has Chrome extension that helps map online questionnaires into Responsive but it is time consuming and not worthwhile. It's not the end of the world because I can typically download online questionnaires into an Excel or Word, then map into Responsive, then upload the questionnaires back online, but with online questionnaires becoming more and more popular, I'd be interested to see if this will be included in Responsive's roadmap.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RFPIO solves the problem of having multiple contributors work on a project together, rather than passing it around via email, everyone can easily work on it simultaneously in RFPIO. It's a great collaboration and tracking tool.

  ### 25. Product does eveything that we hoped it would, and the customer support is EXCELLENT!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Everyone that I have met from Responsive has been great! The check-in process/cadance is just right, not too much but enough to know that I have someone to call and get answers to any questions I may have. Alexis Crowley has been fantastic to work with.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Having the ability to quickly identify and remove duplicate responses would be helpful. I have used the current process, but I think this could be an opportunity for improvement.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped to centeralize all of the responses we have provided across Security Questionnaires, which helps to ensure consistency in our responses and reduces the number of times we have to reach out to our internal SMEs to respond to similar questions.

  ### 26. Responsive - Great RFx tool and more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Responsive allows us to control a fair amount of the content that is included in a RFx submission. This allows us to maintain consistent brand messaging and product accuracy. Moreover, the curated content makes it very easy for first-time users to respond to the majority of questions the come in an RFx. The UI is very intuitive and easy to learn, and the ability to tag content and filter searches is very impressive. Security features allow us to segregate content based on user-permissions.

The Support team has been great; most issues are solved in a very short time (sometimes in as little as 15 minutes). Product upgrades do not affect availability or response time.

We also like how Responsive is constantly adding new features to the base offering, and how they are strenthening their support for new technologies such as AI. The platform keeps evoloving in a great direction and we intend to use these new features.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

It's really hard to find something negative to say about Responsive. Whenever I have come across a problem the Support team has quickly solved the issue. If anything could be improved it would be in the user administration area; more flexibilty to modify out-of-box settings and a better way to manage users in a group would helpful. However, this would be applicable in environments in which their is no dedicated bid-desk team; ours is an end-user self-service one and we have hundreds of users.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Responsive has taken our RFx submission response times from weeks to days, or even hours. Common questions included by customers in their questionnaires are quickly answered using curated content. Control of this content is easily managed using a content moderation feature; this prevents our content library from becoming bloated with inaccurate and poorly worded Question & Answer pairs. When we need assistance from subject matter specialists (for example the Security team) Responsive's asssignment and review process makes it very easy to ask for help, and determine when those assigned questions have been completed. There is complete transparency within the workflow to see who has worked on a response, what changes were made to the response content, and more.

  ### 27. A robust tool that can do as much as you need it to

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben J. | Senior Proposal Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Responsive is very flexible — role-based permissioning is easy to implement and understand. The tool is user-friendly to the point that most tech-savvy users require little to no training.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

We have experienced a few software-level bugs (but the account staff has always been attentive and willing to own issues). Handling of rich text and images occasionally creates manual work.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

• Project visibility: Real-time project status is visible to everyone and auditable
• Content management: Maintaining a large repository of all RFx answers, plus a set of approved content visible to sales / engineers
• Collaboration: Concurrent real-time review and editing; commenting and tagging users on specific questions

**Official Response from Kim Lock:**

> Thank you so much Ben. We appreciate hearing how your team has found the Responsive platform easy to use!

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

  ### 29. A revolutionary experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Their user interface is pretty intuitive given the breadth of options and features that they offer. The software rarely lags or glitches and the uptime is in excess of 99%. The tools within the software make responding to client questionnaires easier than ever, we love the ability to manage all of our various projects with helpful metrics and reporting to prove both the value of our team and the tool. The integrations are also a huge time saver and reduce the amount of downloading and saving of files. The customer support is fantastic as well, with super friendly representatives and quick response times. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

I honestly don't have any significant complaints, they are constantly exploring new avenues and features and definitely take Voice of the Customer into account!

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of project management tools, lack of centralized repository of both projects and answers, messy Excel spreadsheets whose authenticity/viability is always in question.

  ### 30. Best tool I have worked on and the support from RFPIO team was also exceptional.

AI functionality which helps us in getting response faster.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Complexicity of the newer version. Old version was better.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drafting response was not a easy task. With RFPIO and AI , we can draft response in a better way.

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

  ### 31. Responsive has been my go-to for 3+ years

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha B. | Sales Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Responsive, formerly RFPIO has been a great tool for me and my company to use when answering all kinds of questionnaires. It's user license model as allowed for more collaboration than with other tools and it is a great place to hold a knowledge base of ALL content.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Responsive has had some really great releases lately that are really beneficial to my everyday work - Nothing to dislike about innovation :)

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Responsive solves the problem of myself and coworkers needing to go to multiple different places to find content. It functions as a source of truth that we try to keep updated and fresh.

  ### 32. Significantly Cuts Down on Response Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Significantly cuts down on the response time for RFPs, RFI's, DDQ's etc. Fairly easy to use and implementation was a breeze

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Nothing so far. Only been using the product for a few months.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cuts down on time to respond and improves overall responses.

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> Thank you for leaving us this review. While it's only been a few months, we are happy you are already finding value with Responsive!

  ### 33. One of my most utilized tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah I. | Senior Sales Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Before RFPIO we had scattered documents and tribal knowledge that left with employees. We looked at other solutions but found the collaboration, ease-of-use & format of RPFIO to be the best. RFPIO has created a central data repository for our company where we can quickly organize and update our content library, ensuring that answers we are putting out are accurate.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

There have been a few times when uploading documents with multiple columns where conditional questions were missed. It would be nice if everything was captured.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RFPIO is creating a central space where we can really look at all the information we're putting out to clients and easily verify with other internal parties whether that data is correct and up-to-date. Around 60% or so of our privacy questionnaires have common questions, so the auto-suggest from previous replies helps save a LOT of time. We can also manage completion and delegate sections appropriately to ensure an even workload.

  ### 34. Great project management tool!

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

The UX is user friendly and intuitive making it easy for even first time users to do their part.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Lack of AI generative tools. We are currently using a different AI rfp product that may one day replace Responsive.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The parcelling out of large RFP documents into smaller sections for SMEs.

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> Thank you so much for your review! We love appreciate the five star review.

Regarding AI generative tools, have you looked into AI assistant? If it's new to you, I'd recommend contacting your CSM or account manager about our industry-leading AI capabilities!

  ### 35. Streamlining RFX process across the company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Mostly we like the
- Q/A database
- integrations to Hubspot, Office Suite, chrome
- automatic suggestions/answer finder
- export to Word in predefined format
The new UX is very intuitive and helpful

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

The AI for automatic replies could be better. There're afew bugs there.
UX is a bit all over the place

**Recommendations to others considering Responsive, formerly RFPIO:**

Make sure you talk about all integrations and which ones you use. They have good integrations but all of them come at additional costs.
Make sure you keep your data clean - not too much content.. - better quality content

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Answering the same questions repeatedly - making sure we focus on the top X questions.
Making sure all collaterals are updated and centralized
Answering tech and security questions

  ### 36. An Investment, But a Worthy One

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Once configured, Responsive has made the process of building out responses far quicker and easier, with a more professional looking result immediately. The team is more productive and less stressed during key busy periods.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

There is a high barrier to entry. From configuring user roles, building templates, writing sections, amassing a knowledge library, to training users, there is a lot of work which must be done prior to it ever producing its first response.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We respond to a very large number of RFPs each year, usually concentrated around certain busy periods, leading to lots of stress, overtime, and cut-corners in document presentation. Responsive's role is to make first drafts of responses faster, easier, and more professional so that the team can concentrate on value-added tasks and responding to every viable RFP.

  ### 37. Overall Helpful

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacie S. | RFP Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Responsive is able to house a large amount of information and has a large amount of functionality within the system. It seems to know what best practice is and can cater to a wide-variety of organizations and RFP processes.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Often times it is not very intuitive, which wastes time. A box that needs clicking will auto populate, default settings are not always helpful, etc. I find myself going through multiple unnecessary steps often to accomplish a simple task.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Houses all of our answer library in one location, allows from cross-team collaboration and visibility.

  ### 38. Simple and easy to use! Great tool.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

No downfalls I noticed, it was pretty straight forward.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I used the app to submit a request, it was an easy process with stragiht forward instructions.

Knowledge base and AI based response searches are in trend with other competitors, document reads as well

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

sanity review cycle is not set to expire every 12months as mandate which potentially makes out dated responses in search as well.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

search results benefit me alot.

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> Thanks Jeevana. Thank you for this five star review. We hope to make your experience even better. If you ever have any future issues such as search results, please reach out to your CM and they'll walk you through the process.

I wish the tags were easier to find, it seems to be a problem for oursales people.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cost effective and user friendly.

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> User friendly and very cost effective. Thank you Amanda! We love hearing those words. Regarding the tags, if you reach out to your dedicated CM, they can guide you through the tags and make it better for your sales team. Thanks again!

  ### 41. Good product for internal knowledge management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

After uploading a security questionnaire to RFPIO, getting the questions automatically filled out from our knowledge base increase our efficiency and productivity immensely!

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Search functionality is not great and can be improved.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We receive security questionnaires from our customers when they assess our products. We use RFPIO to answer such questions in a consistent and efficient way that can scale to meet the needs of a global organisation.

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> Thank you for this feedback. Having your efficiency and productivity increased is a big win in our book. For all things search, if you connect with your CM, they can provide any assistance to make the whole experience even better.

  ### 42. Great product for delivering RFPs and questionnaires fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Impressed by Responsive's speed in tackling RFPs and security questionnaires. It's really easy to find answers and make sure that the answers are correct and precise. The UI upgrades make navigation a breeze. Collaborative features simplify teamwork.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Adapting to it took time, which can be frustrating for urgent tasks. The UI upgrades are positive, but the learning curve persists. Once you're past it, the tool's benefits shine, especially for teamwork and standardized responses. Just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allow us to answer RFPs, RFIs and security questionnaires faster and pricise. It also helps to standarize the answers that you give to clients, making sure that the information you are provided is correct and the one that it's authorized to give

  ### 43. Powerful, comprehensive platform with visibility into all aspects of proposal management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer S. | Sales Contract and Proposal Manager, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

RFPIO is helping me scale our proposal operations exactly as I'd envisioned, so to say I love it is an understatement. Working in the education industry, my team sees all sorts of RFxs, from complex state procurements to simple vendor approvals for a school district's approved vendor list. RFPIO works for all of these projects. The integrations with Word, Excel, and Chrome make it easy for my team to respond to bids in online platforms like Bonfire or Ionwave. The content management tools are superb. Being able to separate content like data security allows the data security team to review and update the relevant content easily. The Executive Dashboard gives me insight into all aspects of our proposal management. I can report everything my boss and the leadership team need to see each month.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

The only thing that I haven't liked is that, when updating a project stage of an archived project, the submitted date changes to the present day. This causes the project to appear as "Delayed" in the Executive Dashboard, when that isn't the case. I then have redo the project stage update, input the actual date of completion, and then resave. It's a bit fiddly but the other tools more than make up for this minor inconvenience.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RFPIO makes responding to security and privacy assessments a breeze. The automation tool quickly predicts the best response, so what used to require manual lookup in a separate document from the data security team now takes maybe 10 minutes tops. The best part is how RFPIO can accommodate these documents in any form - PDF, Word doc, or spreadsheet. For our proposal preparation and response management, RFPIO has very powerful content management tools that make it easy to insert content or create and update new content. I can even write new content for a proposal but then moderate it separately later on before it goes into the library.

**Official Response from Ryan Campbell:**

> Jennifer - Thanks for your review. We're so happy our software is making proposal management easier at your organization.

  ### 44. This platform has doubled the amount we responded in 2023

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

We have everything in one place for our entire company. The SME's have fully adopted the platform. And we have been able to respond quickly and compliment!

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Formating tables and having them upload into our templates can be tricky.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency

  ### 45. Responses and FAQs for all and All of our Product lines

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

The licensing model was most appealing for our organization where we have tons of contributers across many products. This model makes it very flexible for our sales organization.

Being able to seperate questons and answers by products using their collections feature was also very important for us too.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

There some lack of automation when creating projects, we would like to auto-assign projects to certian collections (products), moderators, and reviewers. Currently this is a very manual process.

At this time they are going through a redesign of the UI of the platform and I am not convienced it is better yet :/

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reusing common information across the organization. Responding quickly and effectively to RFPs which often have a very short return time and hunderds of questions.

  ### 46. Easy to Store - Easy to Find

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barb Y. | Manager, Proposal Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Storing and locating responses within RFPIO is a breeze. It's a user-friendly tool that requires very little training to get new team members/stakeholders up and running. The tagging system works nicely and allows you to apply a single piece of content across several categories/product lines. Databases with folder structures require you to choose a single location for each response; when that response applies to several products/solutions, you're forced to add the information under each applicable category/stack. This creates duplicates and also requires you to maintain multiple records containing the identical response. With RFPIO you can tie as many categories as you wish to each response and filters allow you to easily find the responses for each category. You can add as many tag levels as you wish, allowing you to drill down deeper than other solutions. I gave this 9 stars instead of 10 because at times I do wish there was an option for viewing responses in a folder-like structure (RocketDocs & Loopio), but overall the tagging functionality has been beneficial. Additionally, I like that you can flag content with expiration dates. It doesn't create an automatic review cycle, unless you ask it to. Instead, it flags the content with a deadline and alerts the user if they're trying to use an expired record. This ensures the user knows when it's time to have the information verified/revised before adding it to their project. The expiration date also allows you to focus on the content you use most often, versus forcing you to spend time maintaining content (via review cycles) that may not be needed very often. Also, sharing content with non-licensed users is fast and easy and there is no charge for this feature. Not all SMEs hold licenses; therefore it's very efficient to be able to send a record to an outside stakeholder and allow them to weigh-in directly within RFPIO. Lastly, the extensions are very helpful. I can add database content directly from Microsoft products or online forms; the extension brings RFPIO to you, instead of you having to toggle over to it.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

At times I wish there was an option to view content within a folder-like structure, such as Loopio or RocketDocs. However, RFPIO's tagging structure is what allows my team to be more efficient and prevents us from needing to maintain duplicate records solely because the information applies to more than one product line (more than one category within the database).

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RFPIO allows us to utilize consistent information and branding regardless of the presentation or prospective client RFP. It also prevents us from digging through old RFP documents for answers, enabling us to move very quickly when we respond to client/prospective client requests.

**Official Response from Ryan Campbell:**

> Thank you for your detailed review and for being a customer Barb.

  ### 47. Sales Executive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

Is a collaborative tool for RFPs submission

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

It is not very intuitive ... a little hard to use

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have the team in the same page in terms of activities responsibles and deliverables

**Official Response from Eddy Brotemarkle:**

> Thank you for taking the time to provide us a review! We love hearing from our customers.

Also, I would suggest reaching out to your dedicated CSM. They are trained on how to provide clarity within Responsive and can definitely make it easier to use!

  ### 48. User Friendly UI.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abinash P. | RFP Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

The best part is we can bring unlimited users to collaborate on a project. Even the dashboard is customizable which helps our team for better visibility. The reporting ability is far better than others.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

The new UI has some technical glitches which the customer support team could not rectify. Even the content library is not that user-friendly and sometimes leads to confusion when it comes to new users.

**Recommendations to others considering Responsive, formerly RFPIO:**

This is my first experience with any RFP tool but frankly speaking, it took me just a few days to get accustomed to the tool. Very much user-friendly I would say and recommend to others.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Get good automated responses only if you have sanitized your content library properly. Helps in better collaboration with different team members and it saves time and effort.

  ### 49. RFP Input framework

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael H. | Channel Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

One good function of a Request for Proposal (RFP) writing software like RFPIO is that it can help streamline the entire RFP response process. This software can automate many of the manual and time-consuming tasks involved in responding to RFPs, such as organising responses, tracking progress, and collaborating with team members. It's really helps with providing a knowledge base hub of previous responses and best practices to help improve response times.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

One potential disadvantage of a Request for Proposal (RFP) writing software like RFPIO is that it may not be suitable for all types of RFPs. Some of the RFPs we complete have unique requirements that cannot be easily addressed by RFPIO and may require more customised responses. Sometimes RFPIO may not always provide the flexibility or creativity needed to make proposals stand out from the competition

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RFPIO can help ensure consistency and accuracy across all responses, making it easier to meet RFP requirements and stand out from the competition. Supports scalability

  ### 50. Very solid user experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

I really like how easy it is to create new responses and store them in the system. It is also super convenient to change the search functions which allow for finding more unique responses that can then be captured and combined for RFP's.

**What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?**

At times I find that there are too many responses to try and filter between, and I wish I could create additional filters to help me further investigate.

**What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Responsive is compiling all the RFP items I answer frequently into one massive database, allowing me to save countless hours re-creating simliar responses. It also allows me to find some responses that others have created that I can then use on my RFPs.
