"Good Tool which requires some Work on UX and Track Changes Function"

2/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

We are very pleased with the structured process from assigning questions/sections to users and reviewers, completing answers using the recommendation engine, and tracking progress including the comment feature for use with colleagues.

What we also find very valuable is the use of merge tags, which allow users to define and maintain values in a central location in the database. When the merge tag is updated (for example, the number of employees), each mention of the tag automatically displays the new data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

The UX is not completely thought out from start to finish. While it may be too ambitious to have every function just one click away, five or more clicks is not uncommon.

RFPIO is constantly evolving. And that's a good thing. But In the last two years, beta releases have been more frequent and probably too early. Features that once worked have disappeared, and after a time-consuming process to open a ticket, the feature has not always been successfully restored.

What we miss most is a function to track changes, similar to MS Word. The reviewer must have the possibility to accept one change and reject another. In RFPIO this is only possible for whole text passages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is a good tool to work on RFPs in general. It has a customized process to upate content and documents and it is audit-proof. Numerous contributors can work on one RFP at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not Compatible"

1.5/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I like the idea of having a repository where you can store information that is frequently asked for all in one place for multiple people to have access to. It's a great feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I don't like the time it takes to set up a project, it seems like double work. Also, the RFP I tried to upload was in Word (not Excel) so it wasn't compatible and I wasn't able to use RFPIO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

RFPIO tracks all the projects that are put into the database so we can have numbers for how many projects, etc. It's also supposed to be a repository to store information so we don't have to ask the same thing all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Product is decent, account support could be better"

2/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

It offers a consolidated library of content and does help us in automating the response process for commonly asked questions in formal RFPs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

There is not the flexibility for us to manage proactive content well within the system, only Q&A pairs. We tried working with their account management team to solve for this and we were less than impressed. They continue to update the system but at a much slower response rate than their competitors like Loopio. The UI is not as user-friendly. More than anything, we didn't find value in their contract licensing approach, where you pay for a set number of projects with unlimited users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Responsive, formerly RFPIO:

Do the legwork to look at their competitors in the marketplace and align your solution to meet the needs of your team. If you are looking for presentation or Word based funtionality, Qvidian is a solid choice. If you have a large team with more of a cap on quantity of RFPs at one time, RFPIO might be a good fit. If you want a more agile approach and flexibility with really personalized account support, you might want to consider Loopio. There are pros and cons to each system but using an RFP response platform of any kind will help you start to streamline your processes and automate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having a content library really helped us get to a place where we could automate initial passes at the content responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Izabela, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that your experience using RFP360 in Safari wasn't as seamless as expected. Currently, we do not support Safari and recommend using Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge. However, we continuously work to improve our user interface and your insight is incredibly helpful. Your feedback has been shared with our development team and if you have any other suggestions for improvement, our customer success team would love to hear from you.

"Not as described in the demonstrations"

2/5

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

RFP 360 is good for for storing and to organize content but not much else. It is not a turnkey solution to all things proposals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Doesn't export a clean document. Document styles do not apply. Not a "finished product" as a lot of editing has to be done before the proposal can be sent off. Uploading content can be difficult. You must attach and link - it's more of a two-step process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Responsive, formerly RFPIO:

consider your need for document output and for RFP360 to integrate with your CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

Storing content and flagging it for regular reviews. A central location where all proposal managers can access the content they need for their various proposals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with exporting documents out of RFP360. Please contact your Customer Success Consultant to help examine your proposal templates and styles. We can likely make adjustments to limit the amount of formatting needed post-export.
