"Efficient Participant Targeting, Costly for Small Studies"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Respondent?

I like the participant targeting quality of Respondent. Unlike other platforms, Respondent actually finds people who match my criteria, like IT managers in mid-sized companies in Germany. The screening process is rigorous, and participants need to fill detailed profiles, which ensures they are who they say they are. I also appreciate how automated everything is. Once I set up my study, Respondent handles finding participants, sending reminders, collecting NDAs, and processing incentives. This automation saves me about 20 hours of work per study, allowing me to focus on analyzing insights. The support team is another highlight; they are responsive and solve issues quickly, like when participants face technical challenges or when I need to adjust incentive amounts. What do you dislike about Respondent?

The cost is high for small studies. I understand that quality costs money. But for a small exploratory study where I only need five or six participants, the minimum incentive plus Respondent's fees can feel steep. I've skipped running some studies because I couldn't justify the cost to my manager. A lower-cost option for very small studies would be helpful. The participant pool in Germany is smaller than the US. Most of my participants are in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Respondent has a decent European presence, but it's not as deep as their US pool. For niche criteria — say, IT managers at manufacturing companies with 100 to 200 employees — I sometimes get only a handful of matches. I've had studies take two weeks to fill because the pool was thin. More European users would solve this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Precise Participant Targeting That Streamlines User Research"
4/5
What do you like best about Respondent?

The best thing about this platform is that it is very helpful in recruiting high-quality participants for user research. Specifically for participants and niche-level audience. This platform is specifically doing well in targeting precision and even allowing us to filter participants in regards to job role, industry, geography and also behaviour. Their built-in scheduling and incentive management are very helpful in streamlining the entire research workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Respondent?

This platform is a bit costly in regard to per participant, and also, availability for niche participants is a bit of a hassle for geography and specific criteria. and their response time is inconsistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Diverse Users, But Survey Limitations Present"
4/5
What do you like best about Respondent?

I use Respondent for filling surveys and earning money. It provides multiple market researches that pay for using the interface and getting genuine reviews. I like that it gives everyone a chance to take the screener, and even small-town people can get a chance to earn. The initial setup was quite easy since I just signed up through Google. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Respondent?

I don't like that one can only have 5 screeners in 24 hours. If you can’t pass all 5, the income for that day is zero. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Platform for Freelancers, a platform to explore user experiences"
5/5
What do you like best about Respondent?

I use Respondent because it provides a platform that gives me the opportunity to share my opinion and get paid. This is beneficial both for us participants and for companies looking to gather user experiences. It helps me freelance and earn pocket money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Respondent?

Sometimes it happens that even after applying for numerous test surveys, we don't get them. It can be improved by telling us at that time only if we were selected or not for the survey. The initial setup was long as it demanded a lot of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient B2B Research with Quick Global Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about Respondent?

I love Respondent's hyper-targeted, verified global B2B participant pool, which is our main priority. Finding qualified niche participants is the foundation of meaningful research, and Respondent’s participant pool is unmatched for B2B product-focused research across the US, APAC, and EU. The rigorous vetting and granular global filtering save us time, allowing us to recruit for the most specific research needs in hours or days, not weeks or months. The initial setup was extremely fast, intuitive, and fully no-code. Our US research workflows were live in a single business day, and global APAC/EU configuration only took a few extra hours. The setup was designed for business and research users, and our US product research lead handled everything independently with just a short onboarding call with Respondent’s support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Respondent?

No built-in participant sourcing for emerging markets: Respondent offers no tools to proactively source participants in thin pools (e.g., targeted outreach to regional professional networks)—we have to manually promote studies on LinkedIn/regional platforms, adding extra work for our US team. "Authentic, High-Paying Surveys with Great Rewards and Easy Navigation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Respondent?

There are authentic surveys available on this platform, unlike other platforms where it's so hard to find survey which actually rewards you for your precious time. Also, the rewards are super good. It starts from $5 to $500. I infact got rewarded for $15 in the second day of my using Respondent. It's super easy to use and navigate. I can even contact the survey team if I feel the need to do so. It's really convenient. I have been using it since last 4 months and I'm loving it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Respondent?

Each day I get only 5 screeners which I feel is little less. I think this limit could be increased to at least 10 per day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Job Listings, But Limited Applications"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Respondent?

I guess I like the fact that jobs are posted all in one place and I can quickly apply. You don't have to look on 300 different websites; you can find a large amount in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Respondent?

Sometimes I get screened out for no reason or apply and fill everything out only to be told the quota is full. Only being able to apply for 3 jobs a day is kind of a nuisance. It defeats the purpose of having a platform with all those jobs in one place. It took about a month or so to figure the layout out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that allows me to connect with multiple organizations and participate in a variety of studies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Respondent?
