I went from doing my best in managing scheduling in an Excel spreadsheet to using Resource Guru. What a huge improvement. It makes scheduling, and especially modifying the schedule an easy task. I refer to it at least 50 times per day. I recommend this to anyone tasked with keeping up a schedule for more than a couple of employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's really nothing I 'dislike' about it, but a couple of improvements that I would love would be:

1) The ability to undo a move or other action.

2) The ability to randomly change the color of a particular booking, rather than just by client.

I really enjoy being able to colour-code my different projects so that I am able to see at a glance what projects I have scheduled on a particular week. I also enjoy being able to pin the colleagues that I work with the most at the top of my list, so that I do not have to search through the whole list to look at their diary in comparison to mine. The filter tool is also really good if trying to find times between two or more people that are free so that projects can be co-ordinated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would really like to be able to get a summarised list of dates from a project without having to scroll throughout the whole year - although the days can be filtered out, it would be great to have them in a consolidated viewe Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'd like to be able to manage my team's notifications, as well as include more alerts in the Schedule view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's great and so easy to use. It's a big part of my working day as i'm using it constantly. You know what appointment or workload each member of staff is scheduled for and if you need to make amendments or personnel intergrations it's just a click of a button or a drag of the mouse away.

It means everyone knows their job requirements and any extra information can be loaded on to an engineer or personnels schedule for easy access and without the need to phone them every 5 minutes.

It also keeps track of any time off, public holidays and annual leave for each person on the diary.

And access to customer service is just as easy incase you need any additional support.

If you need to plan around new customers or put a new member of staff on the schedule, implementation is a doddle.
