What do you like best about ReSharper?

It allows you to refactor code into functions with the contextual menu, automatically create constructors or properties, shows you when parts of your code could be written in a better way or using operators more suited so you learn to program better. Shows you possible errors you might be doing and how to fix them. Also highlights names when they go against naming conventions. It can also clean up a file fixing all indentation and separation of elements automatically.

Also has a very convenient search that combines file names, variable/functions names, etc So you can literally can search for anything really quickly (ctrl+T I think). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ReSharper?

The only thing is that it has do many functions that the settings section when if it's well organised it's immense, so you can spend some time until you see everything. Anti-virus and windows defender always slow down ReSharper. Although my company has added exception for ReSharper, windows defender and anti virus will still scan it before Visual Studio starts. "C# programming made easier than ever"

What do you like best about ReSharper?

Re Sharper plugin to Visual Studio makes .NET programming much more fun and easy. Code analysis features, better refactoring algorithms, customizable keyboard shortcuts, best practices checks are just a few features you get by installing this plugin. I wonder why Microsoft didn't include such features by default in their, nevertheless, very good IDE. I would say its a must-have app for any professional .NET developer.
