One of the best things about resharper has to be the code refactoring. Anyone who has ever had to work in Visual Studio with a big project with a lot of dependencies knows that refactoring is anything but easy, but ReSharper changes that.

The on the fly code analysis is another thing I used to use quite a bit when I was starting, seeing how it tells you ways of improving your code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Any tool that makes your code more efficient is a good tool especially if it is truly delivering what is promised. ReSharper can offer insight into code that you may overlook as you develop code especially when you are rewriting logic. For example, as you develop or change your code logic did you set the same value for a variable in both sections of a conditional?

Also, some shortcut features/code completion features may make you a more efficient developer.

In my opinion, this really comes down to ReSharper's cost. Is it really worth an annual subscription? How much of a delta does it offer when compared to the standard tools shipped with Visual Studio Professional? Does it pay for itself or not? Using Resharper in Visual Studio makes VS much slower. Having more than 2 instances of VS on my computer, with Resharper, makes my computer much slower, and sometimes non-responsive. Resharper is very helpful while I d coding. It doubles my coding speed due to this I save my time and i can use this time for adventure new this. It uses reduced the coding mistake and this help while testing the code. It helps to refactor analyzing the enter scope of code which is selecting.
