What do you like best about RentRedi?

I love their best-in-class customer service. I've never experienced anything like it. Read the review to see exactly what I mean but suffice it to say RentRedi is like the Bugatti of customer service. I mean, one of the founders of the company called me a couple months into using the application just to see how I was enjoying the application and if there was anything they could do to make my experience better. Hand to god. I mean, I can't seem to get a person on the phone when I call these billion dollar tech companies but at Rent Redi, one of the founders is taking time out of his day to call a few customers to check in on them. What do you dislike about RentRedi?

I haven't had any real complaints but if I had to nitpick, I would say that it was a bit cumbersome to set up. Not difficult….just had to take some time to enter a lot of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering RentRedi:

I am a property owner like many of you reading this review. I am not being compensated in anyway for writing this review. In fact, I'm normally the guy writing negative reviews because I generally find those more helpful (I dont particularly trust good reviews because they can be bought and paid for). I am taking the time to write this review because I have genuinely found their product helpful and their customer service second to none.

As a guy who only owns seven rental properties, RentRedi undoubtedly has much larger clients. Despite being one of their smaller clients, I still feel like I receive the royal treatment. I cannot stress enough how great RentRedi is at customer service. This is important to me because switching to a new software is always stressful. They made the transition painless. The setup was a cinch and my tenants have told me they like the online pay. I've used the software to list properties, vet potential tenants (background, credit, etc.), send notifications, set up late payments, and get videos for repair issues.

SImply put, I love this company. And you will too. Give them a chance. Heck, do it just to experience their customer service. They are freakishly good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RentRedi solving and how is that benefiting you?

Intuitive and comprehensive platform has really helped me streamline management. I list vacancies through RentRedi, which in turn posts the listing on multiple sites. My tenants love paying online and reporting repairs through the app. I also like the push notifications that I can create. It really helps me stay organized with multiple properties. What do you like best about RentRedi?

What do you dislike about RentRedi?

Terrible customer service and incompetent people working ontheir team. Their platform signs you up for a STRIPE account and they claim to have an “underwriting” department. However, if you have an existing STRIPE account they’ll cut you off and refuse to communicate instead of simply offering customer service and connecting your existing stripe account. This is incompetence at its finest. How do you run a tech startup and cannot figure out how to connect a STRIPE account to your users accounts and why would doing such be a “high risk?” They make absolutely no sense and have ZERO problem solving skills. It’s like a bunch of toddlers are running this app. If someone would just get on the phone to communicate like a regular functioning adult, things could be resolved. We do apologize for the frustration this situation caused, but your account was not blocked due to your existing Stripe account. RentRedi partners with Stripe for client verification and your account raised red flags in the Stripe verification system that could not be ignored.

As a security message, we can not disclose the exact reasoning behind the security risk. We refunded you the cost of your subscription and informed you of the decision by email and phone call.

What do you like best about RentRedi?

Everything is really easy to set up and use. Filling vacancies really intimidated me, but marketing properties and screening tenants with RentRedi is actually easy and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RentRedi?

As a software engineer by trade, there are aspects of the UI / feature flexibility that I notice still need to mature. That being said, I've been using the product long enough to see continuous improvements, and I don't struggle to manage my properties, and support is very helpful. What problems is RentRedi solving and how is that benefiting you?

Listing my properties on RentRedi gets them on a lot of sites that drive plenty of high quality leads. The tenant screening feature and very thorough credit/ rental/ criminal checks helps me zero in on tenants that don't give me problems. Tenant onboarding tasks like signing leases and collecting fees/ deposits/ rent is a breeze. Tenants love the automated reminders and maintenance request portal. What do you like best about RentRedi?

Its easy to use.

Customer service is awesome. They are quick to answer and to make sure they fully answered or shown the user how to do it.

It's great to have the maintenance view that allows the renter to view also and to request service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RentRedi?

The Accounting portion requires a login and opens up in another view. Would be nice to stay in the same RentRedi program to access the accounting.

The document upload should automatically state that there is a maximum document size.

The Dashboard shoud allow the user to resize the different widget views (like Rent) and also minimize the widget views you don't use a lot like Prequalifications and Applications.

The View All Renters should allow the user to choose whether the option Show Balance Due continually display or not per the user instead of having to choose each time the window is opened.

The Maintenance tab should allow dated updates to current maintenance requests so tenants can see progress is being made on their request.

On the Maintenance Request window, the Status column shows Labor Cost and Material Cost. I can't tell if the Tenant can view this part or not so I am not using this since I don't want the tenant to see what I am spending. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RentRedi?

I love that RentRedi has all the features I need and that there's a great team to help guide me through the details. Erentpayments became part of their system and was a huge motivator in making the switch from apartments.com. I used erentpayments in the past and I like the ability to customize late fees. This alone has paid for itself and helps offset my costs for REIHUB. The initial desire to switch came from the partnership with REIHUB for bookeeping. REIHUB is also outstanding and any questions I've had about REIHUB were able to be answered by the RentRentredi folks via chat. I'm looking to expand my portfolio and using an Excel spreadsheet wasn't cutting it. The literal paper shuffle is dizzying. Keeping receipts with transactions and being able to track everything by bank account and property keeps me organized and it's easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RentRedi?

The 3 day hold on funds can be really confusing to tenants when they've paid but the money is still in their account.

I had a deposit initiate and it failed even after the money hit my account. This was due to the long hold period and the tenant putting through 2 payments by mistake.

Not a dislike but I would love to see receipt/ invoice OCR merged with REI HUB. To be able to scan a stack of receipts and be prompted to match them with transactions would be HUGE. It's a needle in a haystack of receipts to find a transaction or vice versa to match to. Microsoft Excel offers this in their PowerAutomate software and was a big comparison consideration. Ultimately I'm banking on comanies using more AI and more automation to incorporate this. I'll keep requesting it because I think it would be a HUGE benefit. What do you like best about RentRedi?

Their responsiveness and eagerness to answer questions soar well above expectations. For all accounts, this fills the software and systems gap for landlords who want to self-manage. I fully expected the learning curve to be bumpy, bruising, and completely self-directed. The support was refreshing and has been much appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RentRedi?

There is not much to dislike. I believe they even have a referral code with some savings for you. I am happy to look that up for you if you are considering their product.

The price is very low with additional services available a la carte. I suppose those whom are not prepared for that part can find it discouraging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RentRedi solving and how is that benefiting you?

RentRedi has helped my tenants with services and payment options that mimic those they had with my previous property manager at a fraction of the cost annually. Tenants enjoy some payment options at slightly lower fees. They also can access their accounts, report and schedule maintenance, and send communications directly through an app.

What do you like best about RentRedi?

There is no upside; I would not recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RentRedi?

It does not work in Safari which is the main browser for Apple products. They do not tell you this on their website. They want you to run Chrome. If you have signed up for a year subscription they will not refund your money. Customer Support does nothing to resolve issues. This is a clear indication that their website builder is not making any effort to produce a product that work across all browsers.

There is no preview function to preview your rental listing before publishing it to the public. This should be a basic function.

Limited functionality relative to charging different types of deposits and whether they are refundable or not. For example, a pet deposit would be fairly standard. You can't define acceptable pet, acceptable breeds etc. you would have to write all of this information into the general description which isn't conducive for a clean listing that is easy for potential renter to scan for information. What do you like best about RentRedi?

RentRedi is so user friendly that today is the first time after over a year of using RentRedi, that I needed to contact customer support and the support that I needed was for one of our new tenants that had not completed his application. I called RentRedi and chose the option of a callback when my turn in the queue came up. I received the callback as promised and Julia was great and listening and helping. What impressed me most was that she followed up with my tenant and then sent him an email and email to me too summarizing what she had done to assist. Thank you Julia and RentRedi! What do you like best about RentRedi?

It was quick to get up and running when we listed a house a lot faster than expected. The staff was quick to support and help as I started. It keeps everything in one place I don't have to be up on my tenant to submit payment, they can set up auto pay Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
