Rent Manager **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022 **What do you like best about Rent Manager?** Rent Manager had user defined fields for properties, which made running property specials in your online availability pretty simple. **What do you dislike about Rent Manager?** Rent Manager was not as user friendly as other softwares. **What problems is Rent Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm not currently using Rent Manager any longer. **Official Response from Kari Miller:** > Thank you for your review. Rent Manager (Almost does it all) **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021 **What do you like best about Rent Manager?** Tenants can pay online rather than bring in a check or money order if they wish to. This has allowed many tenants the ability to pay online, which is more convenient for them. **What do you dislike about Rent Manager?** It does not have a way to track gas usage for the tenants, which is not helpful. We continue to have to use another billing company in addition to Rent Manager. A little costly on our end. **Recommendations to others considering Rent Manager:** Make sure it does everything you need and if you have an MHP, then make sure you don't need it to do gas usage because it does not work. **What problems is Rent Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem we are solving is allowing our tenants to pay online, as many of the new tenants have asked. Our tenants have many options, from paying online to paying with a check or money order. ### 4. Worth the money? **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2019 **What do you like best about Rent Manager?** It's easy to use and navigate if you understand the system and how the system works. Also, customer service is fast and efficient. Whenever there's a problem with the system, the technician was able to resolve it all the time. **What do you dislike about Rent Manager?** For some reason, one day the system works perfectly and one day the system is down for a while. The team does random updates or system check in the middle of the day when the system should be running in order to run the business. Also, the uploads are very slow and you need to be patient. Wish they could update the speed when uploading files. **What problems is Rent Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** Uploading speed and easy navigation. Instead of doing two or three steps to finish the task, just simply doing one step to complete the account set up would be much easier. **Official Response from Kari Miller:** > Thank you so much for your feedback! Rent Manager **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Political Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2017 **What do you like best about Rent Manager?** The ease to produce reports and the ability to customize the reports. **What do you dislike about Rent Manager?** It does not implement specials for monthly move ins when looking at the reports, so the numbers can be inaccurate. **Recommendations to others considering Rent Manager:** Make sure you plug in the data correctly when first starting with the software otherwise the reports are meaningless **What problems is Rent Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** keeping up with expiring leases as well as providing financial monthly reports. **Official Response from Kari Miller:** > Thank you for your feedback!
