## RemotePC Reviews
  ### 1. Very reliable teleworking solution on a tight bandwidth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denis A. | Senior Technical Writer in the field of warehouse systems automation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

- For anyone like me who needs to access multiple workstations from a remote location, nothing beats RemotePC Switch
- Provides seamless login/logout to your workstations and your cursor remains sufficiently responsive in not-so-high-speed situations (such as on a rural 5 Mbits down/1.5 Mbits up WiMax shared network)
- I enjoy its ability to quickly switch between multiple PC clients from a simple selection console
- You can trust that by disconnecting a machine at night, it will be there and available the next morning
- It applies the individual login profiles already built-in to your workstations
- RemotePC saved the day during an emergency trip to my parent's house, where I had planned to stay for 2-3 days, Installing RemotePC proved so reliable from one day to the next that I could afford to stay 12 days.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

The complexity of the vendor's webpage led me to purchase the wrong product. Because of recent product diversification, I was looking for the one product that existed three years ago where there are now three.

Subscribing to RemotePC while away from my workstations requires a bit of work since you have to (1) make sure someone's at home to install clients or

Tool a while to resolve this but the courteous North American support (available even on Sundays), proved quite helpful.

So if you're looking for the single user one-console/multiple-client RemotePC solution, purchase Switch.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While away on a family emergency, RemotePC allowed me to connect to all three of my home office computers so I could perform all tech writing tasks in Word and incident resolution (on our busy UI known as Octopus).

Due to the nature of my work in the health sector, I often have to consult confidential or nominative information and I must agree to the software limitations imposed by my employer. Contrary to its main competitor, RemotePC was deemed sufficiently safe by my employer (health establishment) for me to use and the RemotePC clients were therefore not blocked by our very stringent software deployment and maintenance platform.

Trying to upload a screenshot on G2 returns an error message !!!

  ### 2. Easy to use and affordable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tristan T. | Assistant General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Remote PC allows me to access my business from home or from either location to complete my work. I also find this software to be much more reasonably priced than its competitors. It was easy to set up, and and get going for myself and other users.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I have not had any issues with this product yet and thus I cannot say there is an aspect of this I dislike. It has been a time and travel saver for me and my colleague

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the remote PC in a restaurant and bar to access multiple locations and assure that various systems and software are functioning similarly across locations, as well as remotely correct issues on our Point of Sale terminals for staff

  ### 3. The most cost effective solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Price, it's that simple. It's an established software industry that feels like has been price fixed but RemotePC is way cheaper than the alternatives.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

It does feel a bit outdated but it works.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unattended remote access at a reasonable price.

  ### 4. A simple and perfect solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karl F. | I, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Simplicity, security and all of the features I need at a reasonable cost..

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

No complaints - everything works as expected. Exactly the product I needed at a price I can afford.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in multiple locations that lack domain connectivity - this allows me to access the resources I need when and where I need them.

  ### 5. Help Your Aging Parents with Computer Issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Once you set it up, it's easy to use. We set it up to help our dad with his computer issues. So much easier than trying to do it over the phone. Remote PC is much easier to use. You just have to download the software and you're ready to go.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

The setup instructions are tailored more for companies than individual use. It was a little confusing trying to understand how to set it up for me and my dad's computer. But, their online chat was helpful and we were able to do it.

**Recommendations to others considering RemotePC:**

It's among the best available, easy to use and easily accesses remote computers, however it is very secure.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us keep our family sane as we try to help our frustrated dad navigate issues on his computer. He lives about 2 hours away and it's very difficult to help him over the phone. This has been wonderful for all of us in the family.

  ### 6. Better than Teamviewer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrina M. | Senior Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I've been using teamviewer for a couple of years already but seems my budget cannot afford it anymore. Remote PC is affordable and better in terms of accessing files.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Cannot think of any downside for now since it's been working well for me

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They keep on improving their product and they do listen to the needs of its users

  ### 7. RemotePC for controlling a remote astronomical observatory.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agnesi A. | professor of physics

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Simple, intuitive software. I need it for controlling a remote astronomical observatory at a distant dark site. No professional/business use. Only one remote pc. It works great.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

The only downside I found: running TinyTask on my remote pc, RemotePC fails at recording and playback of mouse movements and keyboard entries. Anydesk succeeds if I set it up for 1:1 keyboard entry. Not sure there is some setting I missed for this in RemotePC.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mentioned my application before.

  ### 8. User Friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emanuel T. | AGM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

The ease of navigating the share screen and logging on is very easy and determining available workstations display is very easy to follow. Compared to others, Remote PC is superior in this regard.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I don't dislike any of the processes, it is very easy to use!

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to tackle projects with ease and have all my information readily available. We have seen our project time decrease as we are accomplishing them quicker and with more accuracy.

  ### 9. Simple, low-cost remote PC access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Versus other emote access products, RemotePC has very intuitive set-up, making it clear how install software for the target PC, versus the "accessing" devices, e.g. phone, tablet or PC. Other competitive products like Zoho are much more confusing.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

With RemotePC you need to be mindful to not install "target" software on other "access" PCs or you may be charged extra target licenses. It would good if they had built-in warnings or guard rails to protect subscribers from inadvertent usage.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RemotePC enables easy but secure access to my main Mac computer while I am away from the office, making me much more productive.

  ### 10. Solid and Refined Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

The remote software is incredibly easy to set up and use. It took just a few minutes and directions were self-explainatory - no need to serach the web in order to get it set up.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

At this point, there is nothing I dislike. My application for remote pc is fairly basic so the software seems to more than do the trick.

**Recommendations to others considering RemotePC:**

See if google chrome remote desktop meets your needs. For me personally I needed something a little more reliable. I found this to be the case with RemotePC. I had used google chrome remote desktop for several years but kept running into the same issues of limited features and slower performance. RemotePC seemed like the best option based on the reveiws, and in my experience - it has lived up to it's reputation.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was needing to access my home PC while out in the field. This would include anything from file management to using services not native to my macbook (i.e. Microsoft PowerBI).

  ### 11. Rock solid performance for a great price!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan H. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2021

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Don't have to be an IT genius to use it.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

There isn't anything that I dislike about RemotePC - it simply does what I need it to do.

**Recommendations to others considering RemotePC:**

Other programs may have slicker interfaces or be flashier but you cannot find another program that is rock-solid in performance than RemotePC.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have specific personal professional programs that my employer doesn't pay for but I do, and I need to quickly access and transfer files between my desktop PC, my laptop, and my work desktop PC. Transferring files is very simple, logging into my computers is simple, and the result is getting my work done efficiently.

  ### 12. Love this Program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca R. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Like all new software took a little to get used to it, then it was easy as

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rhys H. | IT Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Pro's

Remote PC is a breeze to setup and functions as you would expect a for a full remote desktop service, providing users the ability to connect to their PC's from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Con's

I had one technical glitch when setting up which appeared on all the machines I installed the software onto. Simply, the PC did not show up as available until a reboot was initiated after configuration. I expect this is related to service startup or similar.

**Recommendations to others considering RemotePC:**

I would recommend RemotePC if you are looking for a low-cost, simple to administer, and end user-friendly remote desktop solution. I would recommend it to anybody with similar requirements.

Purchasing was simple as was setting up multiple end users.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During the pandemic we have struggled to offer a fully remote desktop environment for staff so that they could continue to work offsite as if they were in the office. Using remote PC has enabled us to offer them a full remote desktop experience that is fast and user friendly.

  ### 16. Best price and does exactly what it says on the tin!

**Reviewed by:** Gavin H. | Station Manager

Absolutely nothing, does exactly what I need it to do.

I need access to multiple computers at 3 different locations, this is perfect for us as means I don't have to travel to use them all.

  ### 17. Easy to use and affordable remote access.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott G. | O, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I recently became a RemotePC customer and am very happy. I have used it with a few clients already and the software is easy to set up and use. It is also a much more affordable options compared to competitors like LogMeIn and others. It is lightweight and not very system intensive. I would highly recommend this software to anyone that needs to access one or many computers remotely.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

The mobile app is a little clunky to use but does the job.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have set my clients up with remote access so that I can easily solve their problems quickly and easily. For a one-man operation like mine, the affordability of this product is a huge selling point.

  ### 18. Idiot-proof

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

It's so simple to use and it is very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Sometimes I get disconnected although I'm not sure if it's a bug or a network issue.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote access to other PCs that I need to connect to. It solves my need.

  ### 19. RemotePC review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

It works reliably and easily at home or on the go.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Sometimes logins take longer than the competition

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy access to my home computers

  ### 20. Good for SME/B

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Simple and easy to use for both admin and remote staff. We were looking for a cost effective solution for the times when we needed it and RemotePC suits us.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

It is not a feature rich solution, but for us it suits our needs really well

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time attending sites for simple admin tasks. Most of my staff are not IT savvy so this is a real $ saving in time.

  ### 21. Great Tool for Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debbie M. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

What I like best is the ease of file transfer—especially being able to drag and drop from one PC to the other without searching through an FTP. I can also "send key combinations" to the remote PC, so when I hit the alt + tab keys, it tabs through the open programs on the remote PC. This feature can be turned on or off. I also like being able to turn the remote PC's screen "black" so if anyone is around, they cannot view what I am doing.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I get disconnected from the Remote PC often. I suspect this is because since I leave Remote PC open for hours at a time, and I use the copy and paste commands often on my main PC, this may interfere with Remote PC. It seems to disconnect mostly when I'm doing a lot of copying and pasting, but this is still annoying. I haven't found any other issues that I dislike about Remote PC.

**Recommendations to others considering RemotePC:**

I have used several other programs that are out there. However, Remote PC has been the least expensive and is just as good as the others out there.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use Remote PC to be able to access my home computer from the office. Remote PC helps when I need to transfer files back and forth, but more so, I like to keep my cameras viewable, especially the "doggie" cams. I have used Remote PC for years and would be lost without it!

  ### 22. Works great

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roel S. | Operational manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Stable connection
Easy to install on remote pc

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Found nothing to mention as negative item

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connect with pc in the field

  ### 23. Works Great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

As other reviewers have said, I can work remotely from one computer to another whether from my home or in another room in my office. It's easy to see both of my monitors from the remote computer.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I've only had the program for a couple of weeks but so far I have no complaints about the program.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to be able to work remotely from home and also have the option to work in my office. This program works.

  ### 24. Remote PC - A great IT Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris O. | P, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

It is easy to use and perfect for IT Managers for small businesses

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Nothing. It has been great to use so far

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been a huge asset to our IT team here at our Lawfirm. Quick remote access to computers which need IT support.

  ### 25. Connects easy and STAYS connected

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruce T. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Connects easy and STAYS connected. The interface was intuitive. I liked the way it handles multiple screens. The basic app is plenty for my needs; I don't need extra tools.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I haven't found anything that I want to do that I can't. Everything works as it should. I wish the product would retain some multiscreen settings between reboots.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm saving time by being able to work at either of my machines and have complete access to my other machine. This make me more productive--no more thrying to get a remote person to find data on my remote machine!

  ### 26. Useful app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JOSE V. | IT Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

It´s a very intuitive app, and easy to use. It works as expected.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

It´s a great application, however, sometimes the shortcuts load slowly.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote connection is easier with this app. It doesn´t need a complex configuration, and I am more productive now.

  ### 27. Great remote access tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles F. | Treasurer

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

RemotePC is very easy to use. I like the fact I can print documents right from my remote computer. My previous remote tool did not allow this.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I could not locate an app I could download. What I did is "bookmark" the web address in outlook. This was probably the best solution.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Printing to my home computer. O could not do that with our previous remote access tool.

  ### 28. RemotePC is good for working remotely and managing business during the pandemic.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

The most helpful tool is connecting to the computers at work from theoretically anywhere. This tool gives staff and employees more options to complete tasks without physically being present in an office successfully. Remote PC is easy to install and set up, making it convenient for users. RemotePc allows me to access documents stored on the physical computer in the office remotely, which is a game-changer. In addition, it is also cost-effective in comparison to competitors.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I'm not fond of all the technical difficulties I run into RemotePC weekly. RemotePC is consistently forcing me out of the application after a freeze period and continually has to reconnect to the remote computer. Another con for this software is it is slow when loading applications remotely, which reduces productivity.

**Recommendations to others considering RemotePC:**

It is very convenient for businesses who want to take a hybrid approach or go completely remote.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The core problem I have solved through RemotePC is completing my work while also combatting the spread of Covid-19. Covid-19 made it challenging to have all staff in the office without potential consequences from a health perspective. Therefore, the main benefit I realized is completing all my work remotely without having to physically be in the office. This is an excellent benefit for an administration trying to manage work efficiency and keep employees safe.

  ### 29. Seamless access to our systems. Huge time saver.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Set up is super easy and access from either PC or Android phone is even easier. Love that you have the option of adding an access code to keep unauthorized folks off.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

So far, no issues. Easy to train the luddites in our organization how to use it.

**Recommendations to others considering RemotePC:**

Try it out. I think it will do the job for you.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using Chrome Remote Desktop and while it "works" the resolution is almost impossible to read and functions like rebooting into safe mode are simply not there. Now we have a solution that works.

  ### 30. Remote PC New User Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Ease of use, Documentation is excellent, Support is second to none

Easy to connect to remote client's PC

Connecting to remote computers to aid in providing support

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Nothing it is a great product!

No functionality is missing

Everything worked flawlessly!

It did require me to make one support call to better understand the product and make my first remote connection - a Quick Start initial video might be helpful, although the support call was fast and efficient

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing remote computer support

Resolving client computer issues quickly which they really appreciate!

I am absolutely more productive and my business performance has skyrocketed!

  ### 31. Great performance and standard price, some impacts on regular PC use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

RemotePc provides fantastic remote connection services, simple UI, and great value for their standard price. Performance and visual quality are lovely, which is excellent since we work with digital compositing & colorization, often needing to play our work in real-time to check if it works. Easy to set up and flexible. Great asset to our business and greatly preferred over Anydesk or Teamviewer.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

RemotePC running at startup/in the background while using a host PC in person (not remotely) caused irritating mouse lag. We tried tracing it back to drivers/other common issues, but the only thing that fixed it was stopping RemotePC processes. This forced us to disable RemotePC at startup while at the office, which is not ideal for an always-on remote connection. For our purposes (running renders over weekends and working from home) it has been perfect, and for those working entirely remotely this is not relevant, but this may be a dealbreaker for some users.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have had a big bottleneck with running renders in Toonboom Harmony and After Effects (cannot multitask with a big scene rendering), and this has allowed us to do so easily remotely so we do not need to come into the office after hours. We also greatly enjoy the flexibility it gives us in giving us the ability to work from home since our work requires special hardware.

  ### 32. Simplest remote system to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2022

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I have been trying to use Google Remote Desktop to access my work's computer so that I can work from home. I had so many problems using it and it was so complictad that I decided to purchase a package. I chose Remote PC as the reviews were good and they had an absolutely amazing deal for the first year. It is an absolute doddle to use. Does exactly what I want it to do and I got it for only pounds for my first year! Will definitely renew again for the normal subscription price next year as I am so pleased with it.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Nothing! The price was fab and it does what it should.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to easily work from home now. I have no problem accessing my works computer. I have no problems logging in and there are no silly access codes required before I do.

That it had an easy setup and that my external staff could install on their own. We connect for using Quickbooks for our church and it works so much better.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Nothing so far as it is working well. From what I can see nothing is missing.

**Recommendations to others considering RemotePC:**

When looking for a way to connect to the computer at our church, I searched for all the free software. None worked the way we wanted them to. It was decided to purchase the software so we could access the computer and we settled on PC Remote. So far it is working great for us and was easy to install on all computers and users. I would definitely suggest this software for others to use.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using Google Remote and so many times it would not connect. Financially we are still the same but saving money so nobody has to go into the church.

Quick internal monitoring and troubleshooting of Computers running data collection applications at a regular, frequent interval. **What do you like best about RemotePC?**

It *really* does the job, as one would expect from other more well-known tools of its caliber. Both Windows <-> Windows as well as Windows <-> Mac work as expected. I would be interested to find out whether there are edge cases or situations in which RemotePC underperforms compared to the competition, but the price point at the time of this writing is hard to beat, at least for commercial offerings.

I've noticed fonts are not smooth when connecting from Windows to Mac environments, but this a trivial issue for me.
