"Easy-to-Use UI, Stable Performance, and Smooth 360 Employment Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

Remote is very easy to use, the product itself has a great UI, which is also well integrated with the companies internal system, which makes it easy for me to manage everyday operations (like hours tracking, vacation requests, documents).

I also appreciate that the performance is stable, I never came across unplanned outages or issues.

And I am also very grateful for the 360 support with employment matters. I recently relocated with my partner, who is employed via a competitors solution and my experience was significantly smoother and easier with Remote compared to him. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

That I always have to get through the AI assistent first before I get to a human. And sometimes very specific requests take very long to get feedbacked or answered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Efficient, and Great Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I really like Remote for its simplicity and ease of use. Everything I need is right there, and the design is really well thought out compared to other providers I've used. The easiness to find information, like details about my last salary, works best for me with Remote. It's also incredibly helpful that things are easily accessible, making reviews simple. Plus, I've contacted customer support a few times, and they've been really kind and supportive, which adds to the overall positive experience. Setting it up was very easy, with documents being easy to understand and paperwork that can be done directly on the Remote platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

My experience with customer support wasn’t the best. They responded promptly, but they didn’t directly resolve the issue involving an insurance company they work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Payroll Access, But Needs Improvement in Payment Processing"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I love the fact that everything with Remote is literally at my fingertips. The quick and efficient process of getting my payslip, viewing my leave records, and obtaining employer verification letters is super beneficial, especially since I'm based in South Africa and my employer is in the United States. Having Remote as the Emplyer of Record makes things so much easier; I don't have to call or email anymore. Everything is readily available, which saves time and avoids frustration. I get my pay stub the day before I get paid, so I know my salary is being processed. If I need to access previous payslips, they're always available for download. The initial setup was very easy, quick, and seamless, not painstaking like other employers of record. Remote just makes life easier and simpler for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

I think the only thing I could improve is when we've had, for my organization, we've had two salary delays. It was when the payroll was on a Monday, and on both occasions, there was a delay in processing our salaries. I don't know what happened in that particular instance, but they didn't have concrete answers when we emailed them. That's something that needs to be improved upon. Now it's going more smoothly, but yeah, they did try. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Service, But Critical Local Processes Need Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

The interface has counted Polish public holidays and non-working days already built into the calendar, so I don't have to check or calculate anything manually. Leave accrual follows Polish labour law correctly, which is not obvious when your employer is a foreign entity.

A big plus is access to benefits like group insurance through Remote. At my previous employer this simply wasn't an option, because the company had no legal entity or representation in Poland - the topic didn't exist. Here it's available even though I haven't used it yet.

Onboarding itself went smoothly - health and safety training, document preparation and signing, all without delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

There are three areas that, in my opinion, which could be improved.

First, the platform is available only in English, with no option to switch to Polish. In day-to-day use this isn't a major issue, but when it comes to HR or payroll documents, the exact wording matters because these documents are based on Polish labour law. Having a Polish version, or at least Polish HR terminology, would make the platform much easier and more reassuring to use.

Second, I miss having a dedicated local contact. Customer support is helpful, but it's only available through chat or email, in English, and there is no phone support. Most of the time that's fine, but when something urgent happens, waiting for replies and communicating in a foreign language adds unnecessary stress. It would also make a big difference to speak with someone who understands the local system - social security, public healthcare, sick leave procedures, and other country-specific regulations.

Since this is exactly what an Employer of Record service is supposed to handle, having a dedicated account manager for each country, or at least a phone line for urgent cases, would significantly improve the experience.

The third issue was the most concerning.

My social security registration had not been completed before my employment officially started, and unfortunately I only discovered this when I needed medical assistance. I was admitted to hospital on a Friday after tearing a muscle and needed a sick leave certificate. Although the emergency chat was available, confirmation that everything had been sorted only arrived on Monday. In the end, the hospital accepted a written statement, so everything worked out, but that was more good fortune than a reliable process. Employee registration should always be completed before employment begins. Medical emergencies can happen at any time, and no employee should have to worry about whether they are properly registered for healthcare or statutory sick pay when they need it most. "Facilitate Global Hiring, but with Some Challenges"
4/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I love that everything is 100% virtual at Remote. I don't have to do paperwork or in-person visits, which perfectly aligns with my remote work style. Remote is the perfect bridge between the international company I work for and my country of residence. Thanks to the platform, the process of hiring, payment management, and local legal procedures is simpler and more transparent, allowing me to work for a global company without complications in my country. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

I don't like the limited availability of a direct local phone number in each country. When doing banking transactions or personal management, financial institutions often request a local phone number. Additionally, I have experienced issues with consistency and accuracy in payments. There were occasions when I was overpaid by mistake and then it was deducted in the following months, which suggests that they could improve controls in payroll processing to avoid these discrepancies. Furthermore, the initial setup was complicated, as we were the first company for Guatemala. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies International Work and Payroll"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I like Remote because it allows me to work for a company outside my country and streamlines all the processes for the company, so I can get paid easily and handle all the HR stuff. I appreciate the easy payment system, and I receive helpful notifications when my salary comes in. Additionally, the setup was pretty easy for us, and I haven't heard any complaints from colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

I think that the cutoff date for paying expenses could be way shorter because if I put an expense on the seventeenth of a month, for example, I will get the expenses paid even if approved, like, the next month. Which is more than thirty days in my case, which is, in my opinion, a very long amount of time. But apart from that, all the rest is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup but Needs Better Human Support"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I really like Remote's pay summary, time tracking, and the feature for requesting time off; they're really good. I'm really happy about how the pay slips are built and how easy they make it to understand where my money goes and why my wage is what it is. It's helpful that Remote has an app on my phone where I can see everything, which is new for me and is really helping with everything that's going on. Setting up Remote was really easy; I just needed to create an account. I got everything via email, and the person in contact with me was really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

I had some issues and wanted answers, but getting to a real person was a problem. The AI assistant wasn't helpful in resolving my concerns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Touchless Self-Service and a Snappy Dashboard That Makes Employment Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Remote?

Most things I need to do are touchless. So I can self serve on my Remote dashboard and request things like employment letters by myself. I also like that I can chat with support if I run into issues. For me as an employee, it's free of charge so that's a nice bonus. I have not connected Remote with any other integrations so I can't comment on that. The dashboard is snappy and quick to load so I'm not waiting to get important details like my payslips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

Can take a while to get a response back to a customised employer letter when needed. Also I found it tricky to follow the health insurance sign up instructions, this is much easier when you are employed directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Contractor Payments with Stellar AI Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I love the intuitive UI, the onboarding experience, the support, and the fact that I can track everything related to payments and finances for my remote work. The clean, easy-to-use interface helps me keep my invoices and contracts in one place, which is really handy. Onboarding was smooth, especially when it came to signing my contract and adding my bank accounts. Customer support is available instantly via chat and has been genuinely helpful in resolving my questions. The AI Chatbot is also quite helpful. I also like the "Guaranteed Price", which gives me more assurance about my payout amount. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

I've noticed there is a delay in notifications regarding the status of the invoices, and it would be nice to have real-time notifications. Also, it would be great if Remote supports FEDWIRE mode of payment, as currently only ACH is supported and ACH sometimes takes T+3, whereas FEDWIRE is T+1 or practically instant. "Simple, Dependable Payroll Platform with Intuitive Navigation and Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

What I like most about Remote is how simple and dependable it makes the employee experience. Everything feels intuitive, from accessing payslips and employment documents to managing payroll, and the platform is easy to navigate overall. The support team has also been consistently responsive, professional, and helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance, which makes the entire experience feel smooth and seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

There isn't much to dislike. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be adding more self-service options for certain HR and payroll requests so employees can complete common tasks without needing to contact support. Other than that, my experience has been very positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
