"Effortless Invoicing, Needs Better Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I find Remote very easy to use, and the support team is responsive which makes a real difference. I appreciate how Remote makes my payment process easier and keeps me connected with my company. The transparency is a big plus as I can view every stage of the invoicing and download my contract whenever I want. I also like that I have visibility into when and how much I'll be getting paid, including the exchange rate, which is crucial as an independent contractor. The invoicing process is made simple as I can generate and template invoices directly on the platform without emailing them manually. This, combined with the ability to see time-off and the different ways to get paid, like through virtual bank accounts in multiple currencies, enhances the whole experience for me. Also, the initial setup was easy since everything was handled by my employer, and I just needed to sign up and everything was already in place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

From the support side, I’ve felt the experience was a bit dry and it can be improved. I asked the support team a question when I changed the deposit method to a different bank account and I wasn't sure when I'd get paid. They should have provided a better response when I asked what time I’d get paid instead of simply saying they don’t know. It's their job to figure out the answer, not to say 'I don't know.' That's not how support should work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fast response,They pay on time, and I have all the information about my payments readily available and easy to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

I believe there is a significant opportunity to improve the reimbursement process by issuing reimbursements sooner, ideally with the next payment cycle. I usually have to wait about a month to be reimbursed for my expenses, which I don't think is appropriate.

Another area for improvement is providing more detailed information on the payment statement about which expenses are being reimbursed. I often submit multiple expense reports, sometimes in different currencies, so it is difficult to know exactly how much I will receive in my local currency.

Finally, I believe the currency conversion process could be improved. The original expense is charged to my credit card using the exchange rate on the day of the purchase. Since the Mexican peso fluctuates, the reimbursement I receive is sometimes lower than the actual amount I paid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup, Stellar AI Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I really find Remote easy to use because it has everything in place, and their AI support chat is unlike any chatbot I've used. It feels like I'm talking to a person and can answer most of my doubts instantly. It's very helpful. The application is transparent and clean, especially when handling expenses, payslips, and document uploads. I also appreciate that the support team is very good. I love how they provide instant updates. For instance, my medical benefit invite was resolved promptly after sending an email. The setup process was also a breeze, taking just about ten to fifteen minutes, thanks to the handbook and support articles provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Platform for Managing Offshore Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

It helps the company manage offshore teams. It helps attracts talent that prefers to have the benefits of being an employers vs being a contractor. The platform is easy to use and performs well. The pricing is reasonable. The support team is responsive and provides comprehensive responses using AI tools. The platform makes it easy to select benefits such as health insurance due to the seamless integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

The only feature I dislike is searching for a document such as an employment contract. I looked in one team member's files and couldn't find the employment contract - it was not listed. The search function would not find it. then I searching though all files and found that the document was listed by date, so it's not easy to find. All important documents such as an employment contract should have a dedicated space for it and should be easy to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Remote?

Almost all that you need whether payroll, leaves, incentives, are in their site. The best is that the payslips are consistently on time. Their interface is simple, and easy to understand. Navigation is fast and no downtime so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

When logging in, sometimes it takes a couple of seconds for it to finish your login, sometimes you'll wonder if it stalled or not. Their approval time for reimbursements takes a while and usually it does not get approved before the cutoff date so you need to wait for the second payout before you get reimbursed. Paddle approves reimbursement requests in like a day or two. Remote takes longer than a week to process it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Impressive Support and Easy Usability"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I like the speed of support and that the user interface of Remote is very simple and user-friendly. The mobile app works great and fast, just like the web. It helps me to log work hours, reuse templates, check my salary receipt, and request vacations. It was also super quick to initialize Remote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Payroll Management with Stellar Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I really love their customer support because they are super fast in processing requests. I've had problems accessing custom visa letters for my Schengen visa, and the Remote team got back to me within a couple of minutes and solved it within the hour. That's not something I've experienced with other brands. I also like how everything on Remote is very structured and seamless, so I don't have to go anywhere else for my payroll or any required documentation. Everything is added to the platform and accessible anytime. The initial setup was very structured, with onboarding folks at Remote assisting with the documentation contract part, making everything smooth and seamless. Remote's structure and security are very important to me. The two-step authentication is assuring, and my salary is always on time with no complaints. Everything is seamless, and nothing is broken. What do you dislike about Remote?

There's one thing that could improve, which is the interconnection with HiBob. HiBob is our internal tool that we use for leaves, and sometimes it doesn't sync automatically with Remote. So, when I apply for leaves on HiBob, I have to ask my manager to approve the leaves on both HiBob and Remote.com. It's an integration issue that, if fixed, could save a lot of my time. "Streamlined Remote Work Platform with Minor Contract Quirks"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I love how Remote allows me to work for an employer that doesn't have an entity in my country. Their software is pretty good and makes things very easy. The onboarding experience was very clear with well-defined steps, and they follow up on emails quickly. I find the overall interface nice and easy to use, whether I am submitting vacation requests, payslips, or accessing my timesheet. The feature where I can avoid submitting my timesheet day by day by creating a template for my usual work week and applying it with one click is a really great feature. Additionally, they provide a rundown of taxes paid and the actual payout. I’m also a big fan of how everything is accessible right when I log in. I can see all my benefits, payslips, vacation time, and timesheets on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

I think when you are on the platform, it is not easy to navigate to the messages that you have written to them. So you have this notification on the top right, and if you have any notifications, then you can go and see them. But, otherwise, in the menu, there is no place that directs you to your chats or your support. Also, in the actual contract, if my employer in the US decided not to work with me anymore, then I would still be employed under Remote, and they could technically assign me to any other project that they wanted to. So that was a bit weird. Plus, in that case, I'm unassigned, then I would have a salary that's, 2.5k or something a month, before taxes, which is quite low. Though they say this rarely occurs. "Streamlined Time and Benefits Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote?

I like how Remote makes it easier for me to know when I'll get paid and shows me how many PTO days I have left. It's really straightforward and allows me to see my benefits and even request time off with just a few taps. I enjoy that it's simple without feeling unattended, and it doesn't overcomplicate things. It's straightforward, clean, functional, and always updated. The initial setup was fairly simple, with a lot of feedback and even people reaching out to help and remind me of the importance of completing it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

I don't have many complaints, the only one would be to have the same options in the mobile app that are in the website. So I don't have to switch to my computer when I'm trying to do something specific. In the 'more' section of the app, I cannot see the information of my benefits, to be on top of my insurance policies, so if I need that info, I have to go through the website, which is not optimized for mobile. So having to switch to my computer takes time, and leaves me in the blank if I don't have my PC close. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
