**What do you like best about Remote?**

I used Remote as a local payroll provider with global support and a service network. Responses were fast, and Zendesk as the ticketing system is minimalistic, but it still gets more complex issues resolved.

Overall, the experience is very comparable to a global HR service in a multinational company, both in the positives and the negatives.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The new AI tool didn’t help me resolve a single issue and clearly needs better training. It’s really annoying.

Also, what’s the difference between a Ticket and a Request? The distinction feels unnecessarily complicated. Please just make it a request/service option, or something along those lines.

It’s relatively expensive compared with other providers, even though their service is worse.

With Remote, I also log the leave hours that will then be approved by my manager. The initial installation was really simple: it took me about two minutes.

When I have to make a dismissal, in some countries the process tends to be quite complicated, and they often have to involve local lawyers. And that makes the whole process complicated, slow, and costly.

You get assigned a Rep for your account. that stay in contact with you.  The person helps resolve issues if they arise, tries to get you best pricing and checks in and sees if there is anything you need.

Nothing at this time.  Portal is easy to use, and employees have not complained to us about anything either

We had issues with a payment that was sent.  Remote customer support handled this right away for us and got this resolved.

I appreciate that Remote just works and isn't something I have to manage or think about most of the time. The employee website portal is easy to navigate and allows me to view pay stubs, tax documents, salary history, and benefits information. The ability to split my paycheck among multiple accounts is very valuable to me. When I've needed help, the Remote employees have always been helpful, so it's nice to have that support. Remote also makes paying appropriate tax deductions easy, and I believe it simplifies paying an employee in a different country for my employer.

There's not a lot to dislike!

Remote handles tax deductions and makes cross-border employment easy. I don't have to manage these myself anymore. The portal is user-friendly for accessing pay stubs and benefits info, and it also lets me split my paycheck among accounts. It's helpful that I can reach out to supportive staff when necessary.

I think Remote has a very high bar for attention to detail, and their platform is really well-built and reliable. Their team is always reachable, which gives me confidence that we've partnered with the right company. It's crucial for our infrastructure because we want our team to get paid on time every time without struggling with the platform or wasting hours running payroll each month. The platform is designed to stay out of the way, allowing me to get everything done quickly without any management overhead. I usually spend about thirty minutes a month, thanks to its design with true attention to detail and reliability at its core. The experience of using Remote's dashboard for processing payments is faster, smoother, and simply more reliable.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I think right now, there's some parts of the onboarding process that push the new freelancer hub and I don't like that concept when we're hiring somebody. We are onboarding that team member. And they're joining with an @scalemath.com email, as in our company email. So they shouldn't be exposed to the concept of a freelancer hub in Remote. But that doesn't mean that when they're onboarded, they should see freelancer hub or any language of that sort.

Remote makes it easier to manage contractors, handle payments, and process team member payout changes without dealing with exchange rates.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I really like the self-service approach that Remote provides. They have a website where I can administer everything, and I'm locally employed by a local entity. They prepare the tax forms for me beforehand and handle everything as a back office, so I don't have to rely on any third parties to get the accounts done. The setup was absolutely easy; it only required minimal paperwork demanded by local law. Apart from that, logging into the website and entering personal details made the process very seamless and quick, something that can be completed in about an hour. Overall, it's an absolute pleasure to use.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I think support through Remote could be improved. I do not have (or at least know) any personal contact, and I would like to know who's my first point of contact to reach out to if I have any questions. They have a file upload form for submitting documents, but having a personal contact would be helpful.

Remote handles accounting, so I don't need extra services or a local business for contracting abroad. It solves legal presence issues for my employer, as they don't need to be in my country. It's like "employee as a service", simplifying everything.

I use Remote for getting paid as a freelancer and it makes it easier to track invoices, preventing them from being lost in a client's inbox. I love having everything in one place, including my contract with my client. The interface is intuitive and extremely user-friendly, with a well-designed, clean, and easy to navigate layout. I've also heard positive feedback from clients using it for employment management, which shows that it works well for both freelancers and companies. The initial setup was super easy and simple.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I was limited to a certain number of characters when putting in my invoice numbers, so I couldn’t put in my existing invoicing codes and had to come up with a new one which was kind of annoying. It would be also cool if you could set up automation rules for this because it does do predictive but it’s not always just changing the last number.

I find Remote very modern and useful, especially with its AI aid. The travel cost handling is impressive, as I just scan invoices and that's it. I also appreciate the cost reimbursement feature, which is very transparent and user-friendly. Overall, using Remote saves me time and nerves while ensuring compliance with work legislation.

Just had an issue with Allianz insurance reimbursement, but it concerns more Allianz procedures. There were some issues with salary payments, but problems were created by our own staff with incorrect use of the program.

I use Remote to solve work legislation issues between Estonia and Finland. It simplifies handling travel costs, just scanning invoices. Cost reimbursement is transparent and user-friendly, saving time and nerves.

I honestly think it’s the perfect “employer.” It doesn’t interfere, and you can literally do everything online. The app is also really useful.

The downside of using Remote is that you have to double-book days off and handle other administrative tasks in both Remote and with the client you’re working for.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I really like how easy it is to use Remote. The interface is very easy, it is accessed and understood very quickly, and that is what I value the most. I can search for historical information, see my payments, tax amounts, and everything in one place. I can also request my vacations right there. It is very easy to handle and makes it easier to save information that can be useful for the future, such as for tax returns or solving issues related to salary matters. Everything is very understandable and I have not had any problems with either the authentication or the process.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

At the beginning, when I had the entire onboarding, there was a bit of a delay when trying to speak with Remote agents to solve some onboarding process issues. It was resolved, but I think the response times and attention could improve a little.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

Remote has made my life much easier as an EOR. It allows me to easily access all my important information, such as payslips and other legal documents, and makes managing my time off and expense requests a smooth process.

As an EOR manager, I can also handle my team members' requests just as efficiently, which saves both time and effort.

The excellent support response times and the AI chatbot in the customer support widget are definite advantages. Getting quick answers to simple questions and receiving the correct documentation links within seconds is a fantastic feature.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

It would be much better to have more options available for Expenses and Time Off requests, especially if these could be tailored to match country-specific leave types rather than just offering generic categories. 

I would also really appreciate it if Remote could be integrated with Slack or Workday, as this would make management more seamless for me, particularly since I have both EOR and full employee team members.

I am happy with the level of customer support we receive: always fast and professional responses, the team is solution-oriented and easy to work with, especially for frequent use.

The user experience (UX) is very good, and the document scanning feature saves a lot of work. I like how the expense submission process basically allows you to upload a document, confirm that it's okay, and then confirm.

The AI component can improve. When I ask questions to obtain certain information, sometimes the response comes as a list of documents or something that does not contain the requested information. Additionally, the response time could be improved.

I like the all-in-one structure of Remote because it allows me to get rid of standalone products that confused my employee population and required multiple logins for HR work.

They were dishonest about the level of support provided. We specifically explained we required phone-level support for urgent matters, but that is not available. Instead they have email support with a 3-day SLA. Responses are unacceptably slow. Separately, their payroll is still supported by manual processes, and twice we've had near catastrophic errors. Slow and laborious initial setup. We are still waiting on answers to key questions for implementation.

I like the scheduled invoices feature where I can create recurring invoices without needing to create an invoice every month. I can set up my monthly invoice for the 1st of every month and if there are any changes, like adding overtime or allowances, I can edit the schedule. It helps me remember. I also find Remote streamlines the process of receiving my salary from my employer's account to my Wise account.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

My favorite thing about Remote is how streamlined everything is. The tool allows me to get paid on-time. They also have set-up perks like RRSP which allows you to have automatic withdrawal payments from your salary. I also use the tool a lot for booking vacation days and it's an easy-to-use process. Sometimes, I need to look for original documents from when I first joined and everything is neatly organized there. I've contacted support a couple times in the past and they were really helpful. When I was first hired through them, I found it easy to onboard and integrate this tool for my setup. I use remote pretty regularly to book vacation days, to access tools, and to look information up like pay stubs. Overall, I highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

One thing I would love for Remote to do is offer the ability to do withdrawals into TFSA. Even though it wouldn't be tax-related it would help hide some money into savings without feeling the need to spend it. I think that would be the only thing I'd like to see.
