## Remote Recruit Reviews
 ### 1. It was a good experience in general, no cons at all

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel G. | Software Development Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Support has always been very helpful and I haven't had any problems during my 9 months of use. I'd say it was all pretty easy and user-friendly to use.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

I think the only thing that could be considered a cons would be the fees, but it's not something that affects me directly so apart from that, no other problems

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The possibility of working for a foreign company in the Brazilian work regime and with the security that it contains is very reassuring. Considering that this was my first international experience, I think Remote was a great ally

 ### 2. Clear platform for globalisation of your company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Willemijn L. | HR & Quality Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Very clear and clean platform to make sure that your colleagues from all over the world can work for you. The onboarding goes very smooth and the helpdesk responds really fast. The employees can reimburse their expenses and it works very smooth. Furthermore, they are expanding their services really fast which is good for a company like us who is busy with their globalization as well.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

For now I really like their services, so nothing to dislike.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure that we can employ our colleagues in countries in which we do not have an entity.

 ### 3. Fast and easy onboarding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hubert v. | Finance & HR Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Most of the onboarding can be quickly done in the portal, which is very intuitive . If help is needed, support is there to help

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

I could not figure out the net income before onboarding. That would have been helpful.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking care of employing people abroad, when people can't or don't want to freelance.

 ### 4. A very useful option if you need to hire in a country other than your company's

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The team answers your questions really really fast. They are super efficient solving problems and have proven to be able to remedy any difficulties that have arisen in my recruitment process.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

That they are not very transparent from the outset about the costs of their services. They told us an initial price, and then as we went through the process, there were more hidden costs.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company is very small, and they are not based in my country. The only solution for my hiring is for me to become self-employed, which is not a good solution because this is very expensive and does not pay off in my country.

 ### 5. Excelente Service, Excelente Support, Excelent employee manage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

You can manage your employees so easily; you have everything you need in one place, and it's connected with BambooHR.
It's really user friendly

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

On the onboarding, the employee shares documents with them, but as part of their hiring process, we need them to have our record; we should be notified that Remote can't share those documents from the beginning.
We should know from the beginning what info and documents we will have access

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To be able to hire talent outside my company's country of origin with the peace of mind of legal compliance

 ### 6. user of Remote

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian B. | developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I am an employee of Remote form Italy. There was a governamental bonus given to all italian employeees in Italy. I know many comnaiues left their employee to deal themselves with the request for this bonus, which is quite some complex. Remote sent me an email asking me couple of questions then they gave me that bonus! It's amazing for an italin employer to be honest

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

nothing so far tbh. everything is ok for me for now

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working for a german company with an Italian contract, all the Italian rights are guaranteed

 ### 7. very smooth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

It's very easy to get in touch with someone, and so far, I have never needed to follow up on any inquiry I had. Moreover, they are proactive in bringing up admin topics (like a possible tax break) that might be relevant to me

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

so far I really do have not found anything to complain about. I would not know how they could improve the service.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote allows me to work from my country of origin while being employed by a foreign company with no subsidiary where I am.

 ### 8. Efficient and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

1. Onboarding Process
- I have a smooth onbording process and the agent assigned to me was very helpful.

2. Support
- The people at Remote are very helpful and responds quickly everytime I raise a support request.

3. UI/UX
- The user interface is very simple and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

It will be good if there's a dedicated mobile app instead of using mobile browser to access the platform.

Also, a live chat is a good to have for urgent questions or support needed.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am hired full-time with an overseas company and had an opportunity to work with the best people in my current field without leaving my home country.

I also don't need to worry about paying my taxes since Remote does this for me.

 ### 9. I am an employee hired via remote.com.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I like the easy onboarding process and very intuitive Remote platform. During my onboarding, I had an agent assigned to me ready to help and answer all the questions in a timely manner. When I had follow-up questions, the support team was very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

I didn't receive clear information on the private health insurance policy and what it covers and when it will be activated. The process is not explained from the start. I would also appreciate it if all benefits would be explained more clearly (especially the cobee app that I didn't understand at all).

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can work fully remotely from Spain for my company located in Ireland. I don't need to figure out how to pay taxes or social security, Remote.com does it all for me.

 ### 10. Awesome support and really well made platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nícolas G. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I like how its support is dedicated and answers our questions fast. The website is also intuitive, direct and easy to navigate and find the things you're looking for.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

I dislike how it sometimes lacks communication between the company. For example on things related to benefits of the employees, just like Meal Ticket or Insurances.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote makes it easier to deal with bureaucratic processes and have support for them. Also letting the company be able to hire employees from other countries without the necessity to know about its hiring process.

 ### 11. Partnering with Remote was such a seamless way to hire and retain talent beyond our U.S borders.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandi H. | Head of People, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The Remote team members are always prompt in responding to any questions from employees or our People Ops leadership. Remote offered the most competitive pricing for the EOR services we needed.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

We have had no issues with Remote to date. Everything has been easy to use and understand. They did previously offer free contractor payments and no longer offer that benefit.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote has allowed us to offer great benefits to employees in Canada, they keep us informed on local employment law changes and make paying contractors a breeze.

 ### 12. Easiest way to have a remote contract

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** André P. | Dynamics 365 Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Easy contract, easy access to information, good support

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

No mobile app, I know that it's a work in progress, but it would be nice to have one to access all your info

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote contracts, if facilitates the hiring and getting hired process. No papers, no headaches on the taxes, remote covers everything

 ### 13. Just amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco M. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Always in time with all the payments! Amazing that they support the remote work, their mission of "remotizing" everything is so cool and I fully support them! Portal for payslips and requesting refunds for business expenses is so intuitive and easy to use

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Just nothing! Everyone should learn a lot from remote.com

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote is helping the entire world to go remote, I was truly looking for a full remote job and remote.com made my wishes coming true! My business performance increased a lot since I started working from home

 ### 14. Everything apart from the payments is good

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Overall, Remote is a good platform for contractors to use. It's fairly organised, and the support is friendly and helpful. I'm not too sure about the backend aspect, but as a contractor, it's been really helpful in order to provide a simple and easy to use invoicing system, and payment moderator to be able to join the gaps that are missing.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Right, the WORST thing about Remote, is the payment outputs. Before a few weeks ago, the way Remote worked for Contractors is, you had to attach either a bank, use TransferWise or use Stripe. Using both a bank and Wise was quick, and fairly cheap, they then forced Contractors to use Stripe. Now I'll breakdown the issue with Stripe:

Let's say we have a fictional timeline:

March 1st - Payment sent by company [ACH as other methods seemed to have issues with Stripe, this already takes 6-9 days to clear]
March 6th - Best case scenario, payment is cleared, and is in Stripe.. now for some reason, it has to PROCESS an entire 2-3 days. When other people who could be from the same country as you, using a normal bank, already have been paid.
March 8th - Best case scenario, Stripe has processed the payment. Now you have to withdraw. Withdrawing takes 2-3 days, and does not work on weekends, bank holidays, so if you got the payment on Friday, good luck and add another 4-5 days before you get it.
March 11th - Finally at 00:30 at night, you get the BGC from Stripe with your payment.

Nearly 10-11 days to get paid, this is a shocking amount of time, especially when there is sometimes no clear timeline, What if you had bills, rent and other things to pay, this is not like shopping for a new dress, where five extra days won't kill you, but imagine going without heating, food, water, that can kill you.

Replace the Stripe system and allow Contractors access to Bank/Wise again, and Remote is a solid 9/10, otherwise, with Stripe, the waiting time to get paid is a joke.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote is solving the issue of having to invoice yourself, and also keeps tracks of everything accounting wise, which is useful to have. Overall, it cuts down on time, and allows for an easier payday and managing your finances as a contractor.

 ### 15. Super good experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marina V. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Smooth platform, easy to reach out for help, quick answers, easy to understand

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

In my specific case, there are some differences by territory even in the same country, so sometimes what I see is true for Spain but other rules apply due to the territories. But also I've already seen they are improving this part.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have a contract on my country even working in a company that does not operate here. Also, allow me to have global work while I pay taxes in my country.

 ### 16. Nice experience both as employee and employer!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I really enjoy the entire experience of Remote so far, both as an employee hired this way and as an employer, since I work in the people department. The user interface and experience is great, and customer service is fast, polite and helpful. Loving it so far!

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

I don't think there's anything in particular that I dislike. I was able to find a better option for medical insurance in my country though (as employee) than the one offered within Remote, but that's a small and very local thing.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes hiring in different countries a lot easier (or maybe possible in the first place without having entities internationally), without the headache of local legal issues etc. Everything is much simpler.

 ### 17. My pleasant experience with Remote

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos C. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

What I like the most about Remote is that enabled me to jumpstart my new job in a very short span of period. Their portal is also very intuitive and the support is extermely responsive!

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

I can't seem to recall anything that I dislike about Remote at the moment. Everything seems to click. Perhaps a better expansion of banks available would be my only request.

**Recommendations to others considering Remote Recruit:**

It's a great tool for employers looking to hire people outside of their own country, and employees looking to be hired overseas and work remotely. Less hassle, fast transactions, very minimal friction in the entire process

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote has helped me join an overseas company with little to no hassle. It is a great remote work platform, proof that they live up to their name. From onboarding to payroll, I never encountered any problem at all.

 ### 18. Great Service for Foreign Employees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim J. | Co-Founder, Head of Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The tool itself has very useful features in order to track employee's salaries, bonus payments and outstanding invoices. All of the above are deducted automatically. Additionally, the support by the tech team was very good as well. We also tested "Deal", a competitor product and weren't happy with it at all. Almost 3 months after handing over all the necessary documents, our employee still hasn't received his salary...

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

The pricing after the first "test employee" is pretty competitive. But still worth all the work that it saves us to be honest. Apart from that, no other points of criticism.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an absolute pain to employ a foreign employee in the German tax system. Our tax office is not able to cover these salaries and we had to get some outside help. That's where Remote.com comes into play

 ### 19. Great support and they make life very simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hassaan M. | Lead DevOps Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Easy to use, and good support service as well.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Nothing. Right now everthing I needed support with was done and they helped me in all the areas

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are helping me work for a US based company while I live in Canada

 ### 20. Platform easy to use & friendly staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayna P. | Customer Support Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Even when I had very specific questions, they managed to find someone to answer them and helped me out.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Sometimes it took a couple of days to hear back from them (with my specific questions).

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The company I work for doesn't have an office in Brazil anymore and Remote made it possible for me to be hired by them and continue to be part of the team.

 ### 21. Remote makes my life easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Remote is a great partner! We can hire employees in new countries quickly and easily, manage them all in one place and the customer service is very responsive!

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

If I could have one wish, I'd like more options for benefits and more info upfront around the offerings in each country. Okay that's 2...sorry.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us better control over the employee experience in countries in which we do not operate as well as ensuring compliance with local labor laws.

 ### 22. Really good customer service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I have used an alternative provider for EOR and it has been a nightmare.
In comparison, Remote has been really helpful through the set-up process. We are a small business so haven't got masses of EOR/contractors but things seem to be working well so far.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Filling in some of the EOR terms for their contract was a bit odd.

Also, I wanted to add a contractor in Brazil but only found out afterwards that I couldn't pay them in Brazil Real

**Recommendations to others considering Remote Recruit:**

Their support team is great, and their invoicing process seems easy to understand

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have helped me understand the billing process much better than their competitor and everything seems much more straightforward.

 ### 23. Great experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin M. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

We have hired several people in different countries through remote. The process was smooth and we are very happy with remote. Florian Prokosch patiently and diligently answered all our questions and helped us understand all the involved costs for each hire.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

For the employees the digital onboarding in Spain was not very smooth.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can easily hire people in different countries without the need to have a legal representation in the country.

 ### 24. Worst experience ever

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Payroll was sent on time and I can visualize the payslip really quickly

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

For the onboarding, they contacted me and after that I asked a few questions about the contract and I didn't have any response, it was close to start into the company and the process wasn't clear.
I had to sign the contract without knowing the answer to my questions because the person in charge was on vacation so my emails weren't seen by anyone and that person didn't let me know to contact another person or another solution before leave (I knew this person was on vacation 1 day before to my first day, after insist over the company was hiring me.
Once I started I requested the benefits that I should have had and 1 month later I don't have any of them. My benefits are private medical insurance and flexible remuneration and still nothing (I insisted twice already)
And the gravest situation is that they didn't do the legal papers on time and forced me to sign a contract with the date that they did those papers as an entry date to the company. They were sorry about that but I wasn't really hired during 10 days!
Also, I requested for higher taxes and it didn't apply to the payroll. Aparently the payroll is done by 10th of every month and I did on 11th, I don't understand how is that even possible to not change it if my start date is on the 13th (by the contract they forced me to sign). And even if it's not possible nobody tolds me, I had to start a new request to ask.
This company is a disaster, I don't think there're much more thing to do with new people and everything went really really bad.
I don't think I'd repeat in my professional future with them.

**Recommendations to others considering Remote Recruit:**

Look for another company, I don't know what's is the experience of the administrators but for me as a user was the worst

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No benefits until today. I have to request the basic things many times already. I'm not happy at all with Remote

**Official Response from Melanie Diamond:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience with Remote. We’re sorry to hear about your frustrating experiences and we would like to take the opportunity to understand what went wrong, learn from them and make things right.
Can you please send us more details around your specific situation to feedback@remote.com? We look forward to hearing from you.

 ### 25. Smooth onboarding experience + intuitive UI + friendliest, most responsive customer service ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marielle D. | Freelance Data Scientist / Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Onboarding (from background checks to pre-employment documents) went smoothly and without any major issues.
The UI of Remote.com is simple, intuitive and uncomplicated, making onboarding and daily admin painless. I knew right away where to click to upload my documents, where to submit time-off and reimbursement approval, etc.
Customer service is excellent at Remote. I've never had to wait longer than 24 hours for a response from them (12 hours on average) and they helped me take care of an urgent request promptly.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

To be honest it's hard to think of anything negative to say about Remote.com.

**Recommendations to others considering Remote Recruit:**

None

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Via Remote.com I am able to work remotely for a company outside of my country of residence while enjoying the benefits of being employed locally (with Remote.com handling all of the admin and taxes).

 ### 26. It's lifesaver but needs more currencies

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodolfo G. | Visual Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The app is really easy to use. I also love that Remote elaborates a contract between parts and this is great. I also felt the onboarding was really complete, which made me comfortable that everything is right.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

It does not have my currency, so I need a third party to issue the transfer. It's not a nightmare, but it would be nice to issue the invoice in my currency so when someone pays me, I don't lose money.

**Recommendations to others considering Remote Recruit:**

Having more currencies. Implementing BRL currency would help me not to lose money.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I issue my invoices and get my payments with Remote when I do overseas freelance work. Because of too much bureaucracy with wire transfers, sometimes it took me 3 months to get paid, now it takes maximum 2 days.

 ### 27. Easy to Use and Support is Great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allie H. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Easy to maneuver and the support staff is quick and nice to work with. Ran into a few hiccups and they were awesome to work with. It's a great piece of software to utilize if you hire out of the country associates

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

It's not 100% clear what documentation you need to get your billing in order and we did run into some issues there. But they didn't ask for any paperwork we didn't readily have

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've used Remote to hire out of our own country and they made it extremely easy! This has opened up a whole new work force for us and its been an easy addition to our HR Practices

 ### 28. Simple, good customer success, faced problems on month 3

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas G. | Head at Strategy Factory, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

It's very easy to set up, when I had doubts, customer success was available and very accessible. The platform is simple to understand and the invoicing is straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

In my third month of use, Remote has faced trouble operating as a middle-man with my company, and they had to make the payment directly without their service. Although it didn't affect me directly, my employer had to work around with all payroll to make it happen.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user, it's a simple way to invoice my employer, transparent, and organized. It saves me time and gives me a record of my earnings. I guess it's a better tool for employers than employees

Remote has been so easy to use and onboard with, and they responded to any questions I have really quickly. They're communication is always clear.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

There are many different apps associated, which can get confusing, but I think moving the payment from Gusto will help!

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to be hired as a remote worker for a company in another country, which is amazing and fosters a sense of diversity.

 ### 31. Best way to work remotely as an employee if your company is in a different country

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2022

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

The chat system sometimes is a bit slow. You might send a question and not get a reply in a few days. But overall all good

Remote is allowing me to be an employee with the company I work for, and they are able to provide me with answers to my questions about taxes or leaves or any other doubts

 ### 32. Remote makes international hiring accessible

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

After an employee is hired, everything is pretty easy to do. Paying employees, reviewing expenses, approving invoices - the user interface is very easy. Remote also alerts you when you have to take action.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Sometimes creating a contract or offer letter for someone can be difficult. Remote provides the template (thank goodness) but there are often blanks that you have to fill in, and without specific guidelines or knowledge, that can be a challenge!

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote has allowed us to expand our candidate pool - finding super smart people all over the globe - without having to go through the headache of setting up foreign entities.

 ### 33. Easy, fast and reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro C. | Senior Frontend Developer & OutSystems Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Really enjoyed their onboarding platform and how easy it was to validate my data. The other nice thing was all the fast replies to my questions and the emails to ask if I needed assistance without asking for it :)

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

I did not dislike anything. The onboarding process was super easy and all the doubts I had were cleared very smoothly so I cannot complain about it. As for improvement, the medical appointment regarding medicine at work could have a follow up of someone from remote to check and validate if everything is ok.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work remotely from my home country to a foreign country and Remote helps me and my company avoid the taxes problems and all the bureaucracy attached to working contracts.

 ### 34. Remote.com is the best way to work for companies outside your home country

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The onboarding and setup process was really easy with Remote.com. Their employee portal is really easy to use and gives me access to everything I need. They even negotiated a food allowance for me.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

The only thing I think they could improve a little bit is to have a slightly faster response on their email support. It's not bad at all, but could be improved.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote.com employs me in my home country and outsources my services to any company that needs an employee with my skills, in a wide variety of countries, without them needing to create a fiscal/legal entity in my home country.

 ### 35. Flawless onboarding and employee focused

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subharthi G. | Tech specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Good User interface.

Tax declaration could be better, since it doesn't cover country specific tax saving schemes.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Work with Global companies and get paid in local currency payroll.

 ### 37. Very good, nice tool for invoices, withdrawal methods and overall clean and good surface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Motion Pictures and Film | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I think the best part is how easy it is to handle, check payment progress and overall comunícate in a simpler way with your team work and don't bother with payment details

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

I think having it connected with stripe sometimes can take a little longer, but that's not their fault, there's is a good amount of other withdrawal methods but definitely something to be aware

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think my payment method and invoices, I myself seem benefiting from that because I don't have to bother with local authorities to submit an invoice, it's just as simple as doing it and send it in Remote

 ### 38. Remote helps so much when you work from another country

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you have to traval and stay in another country, Remote will allow to work from that country you even your company is from a different one.

 ### 39. Makes having a fully remote team so much easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew M. | Consultant CTO/Technical Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Getting set up on Remote.com was so simple. Within a few weeks, I was legally able to work from Germany for a UK company. The customer support has been incredible so far. Even when I had to request some complex documents from them, they were able to help me out in a matter of days. We are now rolling out Remote.com for other employees in different countries.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Using EOR solutions like Remote.com isn't exactly cheap, but Remote.com's prices are similar to most of its competitors, and the service is worth it for us.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since the pandemic, we are now fully remote, and Remote.com allows us to expand our talent pool beyond the UK, while ensuring we comply with local employment rules.

 ### 40. Remote brings US opportunities to my home office in Canada

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The onboarding process was simple and staff answered our questions in a timely manner. The price was affordable.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

There is sometimes a disconnect between the benefits an employer wants to offer and what is available through the platform.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote make it possible for me to work with US companies from Canada without complex contracts and tax implications.

 ### 41. Pleasant and streamlined experience, where very individual requests were handled fast and conveniant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Merlin M. O. | Community Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

We had overall three real persons from Remote involved in the cases of making a perfect contract between my company and me as an employee. All three were very helpful and skilled people with a good concept of finding the best solutions fast. In general, the digital API panel is intuitive, easy to understand, and makes it very easy to upload documents and have a pleasant experience doing things like the KYC. The digital signature feature "sealed the deal" for me personally to make everything perfect!

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

It might seem strange that I have no idea what to dislike about it, but as a digital native, I honestly can not complain about anything. It would make no sense to bring something artificial up for the sake. I am maybe not the biggest fan of the color violet? I really do like everything about it,

**Recommendations to others considering Remote Recruit:**

The fundamental details that make Remote attractive are:
-very modern and intuitive digital backend
-tools that make signing contract, KYC, and financial statements easy
-if anything needs attention, real human people with perfect linguistic skills in support are very fast to help you

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working as a remote employee from Germany with a company in France that has its primary workforce originating from Italy. So for me, it makes the integration into their company super streamlined. My most significant benefits are that all contracting is done by my country's standards of laws and finance. I could not have a better way of working with my company and still having the same benefits as every other german resident.

 ### 42. Remote work aint that scary as you think

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taran V. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I cannot emphasize how much of a lifesaver Remote has been ever since I discovered it. I was very concerned about the various things I would've to deal with daily because of how vastly different my employer & my country's laws are. And then comes Remote that manages Payroll, PTO, Insurance, Expenses, Documents, pretty much everything. You're completely shielded from all the headaches because the onboarding process is a breeze. And to top it all, it does everything while respecting and taking into account employees' country's labor laws. What more could you ask?

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Remote could improve one thing that is being transparent about the Job & Pay section in the dashboard. Often employment contracts are made in foreign currencies, which get converted to your local currency so that payroll can function properly; however, it doesn't show how they did the conversion. Remote needs to be transparent about the base amount used, the currency conversion rate, and the date they performed the conversion.

**Recommendations to others considering Remote Recruit:**

I don't think people have realized how easy and famous Remote work is becoming since the pandemic began, and credit goes to platforms like Remote that have contributed immensely towards it. I had never heard of Remote before my employment with a foreign country company, but from day 1, I have constantly been amazed at how little I had to do to complete my onboarding. I will recommend without a blink of an eye

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote has completely taken away all the headaches related to onboarding an employee from a different country. It has an excellent dashboard that is functional and gives you all the things you'd need during your employment.

 ### 43. Excellent services and feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Platform, website, help and support from people that work there. The interface is very user-friendly and the different workspaces are well defined. Good overview of all important topics.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

At the moment and since I have been using this service and the online platform I did not face any problems and I have to say that I am satisfied. In addition, I do not have something specific in mind for improvements.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working remotely from my home near Hamburg for a company from Switzerland and without Remote that would be much more complicated from a working relationship point of view.

 ### 44. Great automation!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolin E. | HR Admin Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I love the fact that Remote provides you with all the mandatory information when setting up a contract. You instantly know what's important in different countries. The cost calculator is amazing!

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

There could be a little more explanation to some country specific questions, e.g. why are levels in France of relevance?

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us the opportunity to offer Employment Contracts to colleagues living abroad, that don't want to relocate. And we cannot open a sub-company in every country we are recruiting in. We also don't have to do any research on local employment regulations, as Remote provides us with this information.

 ### 45. Make-your-job-easier platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

We're a small startup based in Germany with employees in 5 different countries. Remote, and especially our account manager Florian Prokosch, has been incredibly helpful in helping us understand the legal landscape of these different countries, helping us hire and onboard new members and managing the accounts. It truly makes your job easier!

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Unfortunately it is pricey, but it's worth it!

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Administration and management. It cuts away the time and effort it takes in understanding different countries' legal landscapes. It also is great to hiring workers from different countries without worrying about legal problems.

 ### 46. Working remotely with a local contract. No hassle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Easy to submit paperwork, sign contract, and take care of all the administrative side of your hiring. Support Team is very responsive, especially on chat. It's a great service.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

You need to manually log the local bank holidays, when it's something you legally have and Remote already knows (city you live in and country your contract is from).

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increases job opportunities because companies can look for employees remotely without the hassle of the administrative staff of that country. I didn't want to relocate and my working permit is only for the country I live in, so perfect match.

 ### 47. Great customer support and easy setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gustavo Z. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The initial walkthrough is very easy to follow and everything is so well explained

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

The information available to employees is very little. It would be nice to have access to more data

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Remote brings more benefits to employers. As an employee I think the benefit is how easy is to reach out to Remote for anything related to the actual job and also the application. Thanks to Remote people can now work from different countries and I'm sure this is great for employers that want to hire talent abroad and not having to deal with all the legal work themselves.

 ### 48. Hands on support and leadership team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Remote has enabled us to grow our team in the Philippines, Canada among other countries. Their support and leadership team are easy to work with and will do everything they can to support our growth.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Setting up payroll in countries like the Philippines is a huge challenge, but the Remote team are definitely great in solving payroll issues to ensure that they can provide a great experience for all our employees.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote allows us to employ full time employees in countries like the Philippines and Canada without having to go through the pain of setting up our own entity and payroll teams.

 ### 49. The best solution for remote work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felipe C. | Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Remote has helped me get my dream job outside my country while having a long term contract and all the support you can get from your company, both for courtesy as for obligation

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Only thing I would say I disliked about remote was probably a lack of teaching about how the platform work since I had to guess it by myself, I would create something like a tour through the platform

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote has helped me to have my dream job outside my country, without losing all the benefits I could get with a contact in my country, it has also helped me a lot with expenses stuff, since they are very efficient in that aspect

 ### 50. Easy to Use Platform, Smooth On-boarding and Customer Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The platform is very easy to use and intuitive. The process for requesting time off and submitting expenses is very straightforward. The whole onboarding process was very quick. Whenever I had a question all I have to do is email support which was very quick in replying.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

It would be great if there's live chat support instead of a bot sometimes. Would like to see a contact phone number in case there's an urgent issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Remote Recruit:**

Highly recommend if you need a way to hire out of country employees.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my case, Remote is the only way my current employer can hire me and provide me with PTO, health benefits and expense submissions. Without Remote's services, I wouldn't be able to work for my company in my current capacity. It also allows me to be a "full-time" employee rather than a contractor since I get health benefits, PTO and other perks like a regular employee would.
