  ### 1. Effortless Onboarding and Payroll with Remote

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elida Elizabeth G. | Client Success Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

As an employee using Remote, my experience has been extremely positive. The platform makes everything, from onboarding to my monthly payroll simple and stress-free. My contract and personal documents were easy to access, and the onboarding steps were clear and well-organized. One of the things I appreciate most is how reliable payroll is. I’m always paid on time each month, and the breakdowns are transparent and easy to understand. Whenever I’ve had questions, the support team has been quick and friendly in their responses. They make you feel supported even when working from another country. Overall, Remote has made the administrative side of being a remote employee effortless. Highly recommend it to anyone working for a global company.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Overall, the platform functions very well, but I have noticed that response times from support can fluctuate depending on how complex the issue is. The support team always provides helpful answers, though there have been times when I had to wait longer than I anticipated for further clarification. While this isn't a significant problem, it is an area where there could be some improvement.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote makes it possible for me to work for a company based in another country without dealing with complicated local paperwork, tax forms, or compliance requirements. Everything related to onboarding, payroll, documents, and time off is centralized and easy to manage.
This takes a lot of the stress out of being an international employee. I don’t have to figure out legal or HR processes on my own. Remote handles it behind the scenes, so I can focus fully on my job. The reliability of payroll and the transparency of the platform have also given me a lot of peace of mind.

Smooth International Transactions Processing payments across different countries is fast, reliable, and transparent. The platform supports multiple currencies, and employees receive payments on time without unnecessary delays or high fees

  ### 4. From EoR-Only to a Full-Service HRIS Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wiebke S. | VP People, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The Customer Support team is highly responsive and efficient, consistently providing quick and effective assistance whenever issues arise. Their commitment to resolving problems promptly makes them a reliable partner in day-to-day operations.
	•	The platform goes beyond just Employer of Record (EoR) services—it offers a comprehensive solution that allows you to manage not only EoR employees but also contractors and employees within your own legal entities. In essence, it functions as a full-fledged HR Information System (HRIS), streamlining workforce management across various employment types.
	•	The user experience is intuitive and modern, making the platform easy to navigate and pleasant to use even for those without a technical background. Its clean design and thoughtful user interface ensure that teams can adopt and use it with minimal training.
	•	The product is constantly evolving, with regular updates that bring new features and improvements. This ongoing innovation reflects a strong commitment to product excellence and adapting to customer needs.
	•	The management team is approachable and open, especially in situations where escalation is necessary. They are willing to listen, act quickly, and engage directly to resolve more complex challenges when needed.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Resolving payroll-related issues can sometimes take longer than expected, primarily because the company collaborates with local external payroll providers. This added layer of coordination can delay responses and make it harder to get immediate clarity on certain payroll matters.
	•	The pricing and invoicing structure lacks transparency at times. It’s not always clear what specific services are being charged upfront versus those included in reconciliation invoices later on, which can lead to confusion and difficulty in financial planning.
	•	Certain features that were originally offered free of charge have at times become paid features without sufficient notice or clear communication. This shift can be frustrating for customers who have built processes around those functionalities.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

•	Streamlined Employee Management: The platform centralizes the management of all employees, regardless of whether they are full-time, part-time, contractors, or employed through an Employer of Record (EoR), helping HR teams stay organized and compliant.
	•	Absence Management: It simplifies the process of tracking and approving time off, sick days, and other types of leave, giving both managers and employees clear visibility into availability and time-off balances.
	•	Salary Benchmarking Insights: The platform provides access to salary benchmarks, enabling companies to make informed and competitive compensation decisions based on market data.
	•	Seamless EoR Administration: Managing employees through EoR partners is integrated into the same system, reducing complexity and allowing for smooth onboarding, compliance tracking, and payroll coordination.
	•	Job Posting Made Easy: It includes tools to publish job openings directly from the platform, supporting recruitment efforts by streamlining the listing process across various channels.

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I used Remote to work on a contract basis for a company, and the experience has been super smooth and great so far. The platform made it super easy to follow instructions, file in all the paperwork needed before the start on my contract like signing NDAs and identity verification. Even creating invoices was super quick, which is often an issue when done manually. Everything was straightforward, and I didn’t have to deal with any complicated onboarding processes.

I did come across some issues in verification but their customer support was super quick to deal with the issue and come up with a solution.

Their hiring process is easy to follow, and the product/support people are kind. They helped me a lot while onboarding my new company.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

When I was onboarding the company, I never received a call from remote.com to help me get onboard. However, I should say that I received a lot of emails and stuff to read that was equally helpful. That being said, a call would have been nice.

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

I like that the software is simple and easy to use while still providing all the necessary features needed for anyone working remotely like myself. I also was amazed by how great the customer support was, I got answers for all my request emails within hours at maximum, and the staff was very patient and helpful. I use this product as part of my job and it made the process so much easier for both me and my employer.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Sometimes it can take quite some time for the payments to go through, which is not a bad thing since I know using different payment methods makes the result differ, that's why I changed the payment method and now the payments are going through faster.

The problem Remote is solving for me is getting my payments securely from my employer since I work remotely from a different country, it also helped me during the on-boarding process by making it easier to share and sign documents through the portal.

  ### 10. Innovative Product Experience so far.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sampreeth D. | Junior Adops Analyst, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The almost all in one interface and the true remote experience provided through the portal makes it satisfying for me. Loved the customer experience, I felt it was very unique to other portals I have used at different companies. No fuss in salary payments and regular updates, honest and easy to use features.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

I feel, when it comes to personal finance and managing tax, is something Remote needs to bring more options. I used a platform called Keka in India in my previous company. They had integrated with a popular tax managment portal called clear tax. If something similar is done even in-house, I believe it will really help with taxes and finance. Right now, its the only feature I feel isn't directluy availble on my end. Also, I would love to see more community involvement across remote users and more job lisitings to refer to my collegues and friends.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I started out the interview and landed the Job with my a truly Remote US company(with no office in India), I had a lot of questions regarding the nature of employment, how and in what way they would prcess my employement keeping up with local laws and regulations. I got to know about Remote(EOR) solution and was honestly surprsied that such a solution even exists. Its a game changer for talents looking to work across global companies at the conmfort of their homes. I recieve a lot of questions from my collegues and family members regarding the nature of my employment and am very coinfident in letting them know its business as usual with and that they too can try out without any issues whatsover. A game changer indeed!! All thanks to Remote.

  ### 31. An excellent EOR that takes care of everything related to remote offshore hiring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pieter-Francois T. | Chief Financial Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

Remote's user-friendly and feature-rich platform, as well as its expert support and flexible billing model, makes it stand out from other competitors. They also do not require a security deposit for each hire, which greatly benefits small companies with tight cash flow.

The platform is easy to use and enables HR administrators to manage their employees' contracts, benefits, paid time off, timesheets, etc., all online in a user-friendly manner. The platform is extremely easy to implement, and requires no technical experience - it works out of the box, and the fact that you can sign up and only pay fees once you hire employees, means you can fully test drive the platform without any commitment, in order to make an informed buying decision.

We use Remote's platform and services at least once a week, have had employees from 5 countries onboarded, and manage a variety of employment-related matters using the platform, including promotions, compensation package changes, and terminations.

The onboarding experience, as well as support requests experience, for employees and administrators, is exceptional. They are both knowledgeable and experienced, and all queries are typically resolved with limited back-and-forth needed. A dedicated account manager means you always have a single point of contact in the event of complicated or time-sensitive employment-related issues.

Remote also provides expert free consultation sessions, allowing clients to discuss scenarios associated with employment contracts, terminations, etc., and get expert input on local labor laws and practices prior to making important decisions. This helps HR and finance leaders plan for their payroll expenses and engage with employees in line with specific local labor laws in difficult situations such as performance issues or workforce reductions.

Their regular updates to clients regarding changes to labor legislation in their territories, and the fact that they take full ownership of implementing those changes to affected employees, means there is really nothing for administrators to do or keep track of with relation to labor law changes other than being informed of the actions taken by Remote.

Ultimately, they do exactly what you want from an EOR: They make it so that you are able to quickly hire talent in virtually any country while complying with local labor laws and practices and provide those employees with a professional and seamless payroll and benefits experience, with limited input and time required by the client. We spend virtually no time administering payroll for our offshore employees when compared to our local employees, which means our international expansion did not require any additional HR or finance resources.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

In our 18 months working with Remote, we have thus far not had a single negative interaction.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote makes it such that we're able to hire top international talent in any country, without the need for a local presence or knowledge of local labor and other applicable legislation. As a result, we can source the best talent globally, and provide them with an employment experience on par or better than local competitors. The entire HR and payroll administration function is outsourced to Remote, meaning the international expansion is possible without growing the HR or finance functions or adding more work for these functions.

  ### 32. A must-have support for anyone dealing with remote work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesca T. | Senior Career & Industry Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

As an employee, what I like best about Remote.com is its streamlined HR and payroll services that make working for a global company hassle-free. The platform ensures timely payments, manages compliance with local laws, and simplifies contract management. Additionally, its user-friendly interface and comprehensive support make it easy to focus on my work without worrying about administrative complexities. This makes the experience of being part of a distributed team smooth and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

As an employee navigating through the platfrom can be initially overwhelming. Additionally, dealing with international regulations might sometimes cause delays or issues. Despite these challenges, the benefits of streamlined HR, payroll, and compliance management often outweigh the drawbacks.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Timely and Accurate Payments: Ensures that my salary is processed correctly and on time, regardless of my location.
-Contract Management: Simplifies access to and management of my documents.
-HR Support: Provides a centralized platform for HR-related queries and support.
-Legal Compliance: Ensures my employment adheres to local labor laws, giving me peace of mind about legal and regulatory compliance.

  ### 33. Pleasant surprise

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zhan K. | Technical Support Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I like that the platform is user-friendly. You can access most of the information yourself, request time off, track your holiday allowance etc.

The customer support is always spot on. They reply quickly and point you to the right place to seek information if needed.

Overall, I am pleasantly surprised with the ease of use, the features they offer, the benefits they can provide etc.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

When I was onboarded as a Spain-based employee, there wasn't enough transparency between their client and myself. Remote only provided info about my registration and onboarding process, then just sent over the contract. When I asked questions, I was either directed to some articles on their website, which didn't help or to communicate my concerns with their Client (technically my employer who's hiring me through Remote's services).

At the end of the day, it all went well, but they could've been more responsible.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They seem to be always trying to expand the variety of their services. For example, they recently switched one of their benefits providers and it turned out quite well.

  ### 34. I like having billing, invoices time-off requests, all in one place.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth K. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

I really appreciate the convenience of having everything centralized in one platform. With this remote tool, I can effortlessly manage various tasks such as viewing billing information and handling time-off requests. Additionally, it provides an easy way to check public holidays for different countries, which is incredibly useful. The chat feature is also quite impressive; it allows me to ask quick, simple questions and receive immediate responses. For more detailed inquiries, the team gets back to me promptly with thorough answers. This level of support and functionality makes the tool indispensable for remote work.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

One downside is that the interface can be a bit cluttered and overwhelming at times. It takes a while to get used to navigating all the features efficiently.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote is solving the problem of managing various HR tasks in a decentralized work environment. By consolidating billing, time-off requests, and country-specific public holidays into one platform, it saves time and reduces the complexity of handling these tasks separately. The responsive chat support also ensures that I get timely help for both simple and detailed inquiries, enhancing productivity and efficiency.

  ### 35. Great "tool" to help organize salary processes for people from different parts of the world.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max B. | Senior Software Development Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Remote Recruit?**

The most helpful for me is easy flow to create invoices and track down vacations, seek leaves e.t.c. I saw how some bugs were quickly fixed after contacting customer support so it makes me feel that product is continiously evolving.

It was quickly integrated with our company and easy for us (developers) to start using it. So for now Im using remote about two or three times in month, to raise invoice, create some leave days requests.

Also iOS application is very useful when you want to quickly check status of invoice because you can use face id instead of auth codes so you can check it as often as you want without need to open additional apps (with auth codes).

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

Unfortunately our company have not finished integration of sick\leave days count. But Im sure that this is not remote fault and will be resolved as quickly as possible.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company can't easily hire people from outside of Europe Union, but remote helped to resolve this issues.

  ### 36. Time saving and money mangement at its best

I’m really impressed with the recent updates to Remote.com. The onboarding process is now a smooth, document management is better than ever, and those detailed cost breakdowns make budgeting very easy. Plus, payroll is more accurate and processed faster, which makes money management easier in cross currencies.

**What do you dislike about Remote Recruit?**

As a contractor using Remote.com, I’d be super excited if we could explore some more flexible pricing options or maybe even lower service fees that are specifically designed for individual contractors and smaller projects. This could really help me and other freelancers like me connect with clients all over the world while still taking advantage of the platform best compliance and payment features.

**What problems is Remote Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote.com has been a game-changer for me. It solves so many headaches, especially with global compliance. I no longer worry about navigating the complex legal requirements of different countries, which gives me peace of mind. The platform automates payroll and taxes, making sure everyone gets paid on time and in compliance with local tax laws. This has saved me a ton of administrative work. I also love the standardized contracts—they make the whole process straightforward and legally sound. Plus, having everything centralized means I can easily keep track of all my freelancers and contractors in one place. Overall, Remote.com has streamlined my operations and made managing a global team much more efficient.
