What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

Remote is a good platform to use when you have employees all over the world. This is great for remote companies. It has the policies for each countries, so as an employer, you don't need to worry about compliance because all things you need are available in the platform.

I also like the customer support, they are very helpful and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

If you are not familiar with the platform, if you are a first time user, there are times its a bit confusing to use it, a bit of difficult to find information, specially when you are onboarding new employee. Also granting access to the manager. Its a bit confusing to navigate when you are the admin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

I use Remote as an Employer of Record, and I love how easy their app and website interface is to use. It makes accessing my payslips and documents straightforward, and contacting support through the app is super convenient. The initial setup of Remote was very easy too. I have even recommended it to a friend already. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

This is my first time with Remote and I like multiple features that Remote provides:

1. Easy access to payslip and any employment relevant documents

2. Auto scan the receipt and update the fields, no need to manually fill the claim form

3. Mobile app, which is very helpful for accessing all the details at the fingertips and ease to submit a invoice thru mobile than a web interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

For the expense report, it doesn't allow to upload multiple receipt into one, e.g. lunch 230, dinner 450, so in total 680 which is below my per diem and it will be helpful for the HR/reviewer to confirm that I didn't cross the per diem, whereas now I have to submit multiple receipts as a separate reimbursement claim Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

I appreciate how Remote allows my company to hire me in a country where they otherwise couldn't. The platform provides essential legal scope and administrative support that would be difficult for me to manage independently. I love the straightforward, user-friendly interface, which makes the platform easy to navigate and use efficiently. It neatly organizes administrative details, including payslips and holiday balances, which are readily accessible and extremely beneficial for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Navigating international regulations felt impossible until Remote provided clear legal pathways"

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

We have a global team of contractors and remote has saved our lives. We are not sitting hours trying to understand local tax and social contribution regulations in 12 different states, instead of that complex stuff, it manages it beautifully on behalf of each freelancer. The visibility we can provide our contractors is quite incredible; they can see their payment status, easily access any applicable localised documents and it reduces a significant amount of administrative back and for. Of particular value to me is the fact that it has brought together all our specific international paperwork around the world and that our contracts and payments are never non-compliant without having the need to be an expert in every single jurisdiction. What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

The initial set up in the system to meet the specific compliance requirements of each country can be a bit thick. It is comprehensive, yet it needs specific efforts to perfect it. I would also like to see greater flexibility with regards to the ability to directly incorporate contractor project specific expense reporting included in their payment processes. It also took time to fully comprehend the complexities of the country specific benefits packages that might be converted in the future to a prospective employee in the system. Response from Melanie Diamond of Remote HR Management

Hi Bernard,

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for sharing where we can improve. I’d love a bit more context on three areas you mentioned:

Initial system set-up & compliance — which parts felt most cumbersome, and in which countries?

Contractor project-specific expense reporting — how would you ideally like to see this work in payments?

Country-specific benefits — where would more guidance or clarity have been most useful?

Your input helps us prioritise improvements!

Please feel free to reach out to me directly at feedback@remote.com so we can learn more.

Kind Regards,

Mel Diamond

"Remote Made Me Feel Local . Even From Across the World"

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

What I liked most about Remote is how invisible it felt, in the best way. Everything just worked. I signed my contract, set up my details, and got paid on time without needing to chase anyone or figure out complicated systems. As someone working from a different continent, it honestly made the whole process feel local and easy. That peace of mind matters a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

One small frustration was that I couldn’t access the invoicing system until my employer fully set things up on their side. It left me a bit in the dark at first. A heads-up or clearer guidance would’ve helped. But other than that everything has been great so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Remote is the best software for employers and employees!"

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

I've been using the Remote app for a while now, and I must say it has completely changed the way I view remote employment. This app acts almost like an employer itself — highly professional, efficient, and truly supportive of both companies and workers. One of the things I appreciate the most is how fairly it treats employees. The platform ensures that workers are not taken advantage of, which is something that’s often overlooked in other freelance or hiring apps.

The customer support is outstanding. Any time I’ve had a question or issue, the response has been quick, clear, and helpful. It’s clear that the Remote team values the people who use their service — both employers and employees alike.

The insurance and benefit system offered through the app is also very impressive. It gives a strong sense of security, especially for freelancers or remote workers who typically lack access to such benefits. Everything is very transparent and well-structured, which makes the entire experience smooth and worry-free.

Overall, Remote is more than just a hiring app. It's a complete, trustworthy system for managing employment in the modern world. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for fair, secure, and professional remote work opportunities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

One major downside I’ve encountered is related to employment verification in Thailand. When applying for a credit card, local banks often require confirmation of employment via a phone call. Unfortunately, Remote does not provide a local Thai phone number or support line for such verifications. This makes it difficult for employees in Thailand to get approved for financial services like credit cards, even if they are legitimately employed through the app.

If Remote could provide a local contact point or an official verification service for countries like Thailand, it would greatly improve the experience for international users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

Remote makes it easy to hire and pay people in different countries. Everything is in one place, like contracts, documents, and payroll. We use it regularly to manage our international team. The platform is simple to use, and the support team answers quickly when we have questions. Onboarding is fast and clear, which helped us implement Remote with no issues. It also fits well with our existing HR and finance processes, so we didn’t need to change much. It saves us time and helps avoid mistakes with legal or payment tasks. What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

In Colombia, Remote doesn’t handle social security payments directly. It only tells the admins how much to pay, but the company still has to do the payments manually. This adds extra work and risk of errors. Also, it doesn’t support bi-weekly payroll, which is a common practice here, and that makes it harder to stay aligned with local standards. What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

One of the aspects I appreciate most about Remote is its commitment to simplifying global employment. The platform offers a user-friendly interface and comprehensive features that make hiring, onboarding, and managing international talent seamless. I also value the transparency in pricing and the emphasis on compliance, which provides peace of mind when working across different countries. Additionally, the support team has been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

While my overall experience with Remote has been positive, there are a few areas that could be improved. At times, certain features or updates feel slightly delayed, especially when dealing with region-specific employment regulations. Additionally, the platform could benefit from more detailed onboarding documentation or walkthroughs for first-time users. However, I recognize that Remote is continuously evolving, and I appreciate their efforts to address feedback and improve the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Remote is a practical and efficient service. I recommend it 100%!"

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

I really appreciate how available, fast, and efficient the support team is. No matter how specific or detailed my question is, they always take the time to research and provide a clear, thoughtful, and personalized response. The platform itself is also excellent — very intuitive, beautifully designed, and makes it easy to track working hours, submit expenses, and manage everything in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

Honestly, there’s very little to dislike. If I had to mention something, it would be that some features could have more detailed tooltips or explanations for first-time users. But even then, the customer support is so responsive and helpful that it compensates for any small learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
