"The Best platform that provides global payroll, compliance, and employer-of-record (EOR) services"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

Remote.com makes it easy for companies to hire and pay employees or contractors worldwide without worrying about legal and tax compliance. It handles payroll, benefits, and compliance in different countries, saving businesses time and effort. The platform is user-friendly, and their customer support is responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

One downside is that the pricing can be a bit high for small businesses or startups. Sometimes, there can be delays in processing payments or onboarding, depending on the country. Also, since everything is managed through a third party, companies have less direct control over certain aspects of hiring and payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

I have had a great experience using Remote for about three years. It was recommended by my employer, and I have found it incredibly useful for managing HR and payroll functions with minimal input required from my end. This ease of handling these functions significantly simplifies the accounting process. I particularly appreciate the journal entry sync feature with QuickBooks Online, which integrates seamlessly and enhances my workflow efficiency. Remote's ease of use is a standout feature, making it an attractive choice for repurchase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like how easy Remote is to use and the app is great. The initial setup was very easy. Overall, I'm very likely to recommend Remote to a friend or colleague. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

Having a phone call from someone from Remote at the beginning could help me understand what it means to be an Employee of Record and what role does Remote have. A more personalized experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and easy-to-use platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

Remote provides a clean and reliable platform where I can easily access my monthly payslips, employment contract, and other important documents. The interface is simple to use, and I appreciate that everything is well-organized in one place. Their customer support team is also prompt and very helpful. The onboarding process was smooth, and I get notified via email whenever a new payslip is available. Everything feels secure and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

So far, I haven't faced any major issues. However, I did have one experience where I contacted the support team via chat for a query, and they mentioned they would forward it to the relevant team. Unfortunately, I never received a response from that team. I eventually had to reach out to my HR, who followed up with Remote on my behalf, and only then I received a resolution. Aside from that, everything has worked smoothly for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Remote during my onboarding"

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

What I appreciate most about Remote is how seamless and user-friendly the onboarding process is. The platform centralizes all the key documents, tasks, and information I need as a new hire, making it easy to track progress and complete steps without confusion. I also really value the transparency it provides regarding payroll, benefits, and compliance—it gives me confidence that everything is being handled professionally and efficiently. What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

So far, my experience has been mostly positive, but if I had to point out something, I’d say that some sections could benefit from more contextual help or tooltips, especially for users new to global employment platforms. Occasionally, I’ve found myself unsure about the purpose of a specific field or step, and a short explanation would have made the process even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great tool overall for employees payment info"

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

I like how the invoice can be automated based on a date range Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

While I find Remote generally easy to use, there are a few areas where improvements would be greatly appreciated.

Firstly, the absence of a 12-hour clock format can be confusing, especially with shifts that cross the noon hour (e.g., 11 AM to 1 PM). Since the time entries decrease around that period, it sometimes seems to cause issues within the system.

Secondly, while the customer support has been good, a video tutorial specifically demonstrating Remote's functionality for Canadian users would be incredibly helpful. As the only Canadian employee so far, my manager and I had some initial confusion and had to seek guidance elsewhere until we realized I should be using Stripe and not CIBC.

Thirdly, the Remote mobile app doesn't seem to allow easy automated invoice submissions, so I utilize my laptop. It's possible the automated billing system is the root cause as it allows manual entries on my iPhone 13 but not for a date range. Being able to submit invoices directly through the app would be a significant convenience!

Additionally, it would be beneficial to see American holidays that our company observes, as currently, only Canadian holidays are displayed (I'm a Canadian working for an American company).

Furthermore, it's unfortunate that I get my payments to my bank account 10 days from when the invoice gets approved. I feel it should be a few days maximum, if possible.

Finally, having an estimated timeframe for when payments will arrive in my CIBC bank account would greatly improve transparency.

As I primarily use Remote once or twice a week (my original shifts are tracked in Microsoft Teams), a direct integration with Microsoft would be a fantastic enhancement.

I also appreciate that some of my previous feedback has been implemented – thank you for considering user input! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best experience ever with Remote"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

Remote has completely transformed how we manage our global team. From seamless payroll processing to effortless expense tracking and time management, the platform offers everything we need in one place. Its intuitive interface makes onboarding and day-to-day use incredibly easy for both HR teams and employees. The Employer of Record (EOR) feature is a game-changer, allowing us to hire talent across borders without legal headaches. Remote is reliable, compliant, and truly built for the future of distributed work. Highly recommended for any company looking to scale internationally with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

Remote is a solid platform for global workforce management, especially when it comes to payroll and contractor compliance. However, there are areas where it could improve. The HRIS features are somewhat basic compared to dedicated HR systems — for example, performance reviews or detailed analytics are limited. Additionally, pricing may be a concern for smaller startups, as the service can be on the higher end. Despite these drawbacks, Remote is a dependable solution, and with some feature enhancements, it could easily become the all-in-one platform every remote-first company needs. "Incredible platform from both an admin and user perspective"

What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

I've been hired through Remote in a previous role and I'm currently using it as part of a management team hiring staff outside of the Netherlands. Top 3 reasons I'd highly recommend Remote:

- Global expertise and support - hiring in the Netherlands for a company that only has entities in Spain and the US and needing to get questions answered 24/7? Easy with Remote

- Time management and holidays - super flexible, intuitive and easy to use system to manage your own time, your team's time and everything in between

- Scale potential - currently not using all the additional performance management and goals features, but will as soon as my team is big enough Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lacking on some fundamental aspects"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Remote HR Management?

* UI is functional, it does its job, which is what i expect from an HR tool like Remote.com. Please don't change it too much, in particular don't take incomprehensible design decisions that are trendy today, such as too much side margins.

* The expense invoice scanning just works, much better than any other experience I had with other expenses tools.

* Exporting data in CSV it's awesome, it helped me once when my company gave me an incorrect expense refund and I had to do the math. I just exported it in CSV, loaded in excel, and it just worked. It would be even more awesome if data could be exported straight to Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?

Two problems I've stumbled on, that IMO are quite fundamental:

* There was a miscount with my PTOs at the beginning of the year, the operation manager in my company contacted customer support, and we're still waiting for this issue to be solved since two months at least. This is such a basic aspect of what an HR tool is supposed to do, that I find it frankly unacceptable. I personally preferred when in my company we managed PTOs using shared spreadsheets.

* There seems to be an error with the holidays, tomorrow 8th may 2025 is holiday in Berlin and the system didn't take it in account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Melanie Diamond of Remote HR Management

Hi Francesco,

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback — I’m Melanie, part of the Voice of the Customer team here at Remote.

We really appreciate your comments on what’s working well, especially around the UI, expense scanning, and data exports — it’s great to hear that these features are making a positive impact on your experience.

I’ve flagged both issues with the relevant teams, and we’re actively looking into them.

Thanks again for your feedback and for helping us improve Remote.
