## Remo Conference Reviews
  ### 1. Lots of Potential... Needs Accessibility Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan d. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I love the ability to feel like you're in a banquet hall, or event space with people and that you can "move around." Custom floor plans have allowed our company to recreate some of our in-person events overnight.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

This is NOT an accessible platform for people with disabilities. Needs closed caption support on video sharing, and a lot more attention to how to navigate the room.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using OBS and other "virtual video cameras" to add Closed captions into the feed is cumbersome but works.

Biggest benefit and the reason for dealing with the A11y shortcomings is the sense of connection the platform offers.

  ### 2. Best yet Affordable Virtual Meeting Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raj Kumar K. | ESL, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

Easy to use features, Do It Yourself Platform, Minimal or No interaction with support staff is needed, It runs on a weblink, so no need to download the app or any software. Best of all, it's available on a monthly package for professional event organizers.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Does not have robust polling and Survey Feature. Parallel sessions should be connected more seamlessly. Green screen for the virtual background image is not available.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Please develop features that can a. Help organizers to promote sponsors during live sessions b. Plan something for exhibitions

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a professional event organizer, so I was looking for a platform that comes with a monthly subscription. Its affordable platform for event single event users, people like me would rip more benefits.

  ### 3. RBCC 12 November 2020

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philip O. | Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

So far as I know, there is no similar product. I like the idea of presentations followed by discussions. This gives a networking experience unavailable on Google Meet or ZOOM. In fact, in terms of enabling initial interaction Remo is perhaps better than real life. It is less of an effort to push yourself into an existing conversation. I will make a suggestion for improvement here because I don't know what questions will follow. (I do now).

It might be an idea to have labels on the tables to attract attendees with relevant interests.

It would be useful to be able to click on the name of someone at the table and see their profiles.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Mostly the conference was intuitiive. I didn't recognise how to move tables. That is probably my fault for not reading the instructions. I will not be alone.

The quality of sound was highly variable. It was often like Skype in its early years. Once REMO can afford more data centre capacity no doubt that will change.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My office is based in South Wales. This is a long way from London or the Russian capital cities. Remote conferences of this sort allow me to participate out network in a way that is not often financially or physically possible given my location. Membership organisations that use this kind of technology now have a new service to offer members outside major metropolitan centres.

In terms of my own business, which is very small, Google Meet is enough for my purposes. I am on the committee of a membership organisation specialising in Russia. We rely on individual subscriptions and this is beyond us. We do use software designed to manage membership organisations. Remo might consider selling this package to such organisations as a plug-in to their existing products.

  ### 4. Very clever networking application with all the right tools and great value.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glenn C. | Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I like the idea of joining a table discussion on certain topics. If your not interested you can bounce to another one. Its video chat so that's great! The whiteboard or sketch pad is a cool feature too.
It has all the features of a big box platform like Zoom or Teams with easy to use controls. This is a near perfect networking App.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I think the limit is six people to a table, if you could up that to like 12, that would be good.
We didn't use it for a general session so I can speak too much about that conference capability, but it would be nice if you could get attendance to 500 or more without technical difficulties, that would be great!

Another improvement would be to allow for the tables to be branded with a sponsor logo. There is limited sponsor branding placements available and they are quite small. Maybe if you had a mouse rollover feature that popped up a module to enhance the sponsor experience would be good.
Robust analytics is always good too!

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Very affordable and packed with video networking features. It can also be a a plugin app to your existing Virtual Conference platform.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My role is conference project management so we are looking for great networking feature to offer our clients in this Covid induced virtual times

  ### 5. Very cool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I liked the visualisation of the seating area/presentation rooms. It made it easy to see where everyone was located and seemed like a real conference.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

While in a private presentation "room", when visitors arrived, if they were alone, they would be too nervous to start a conversation about the presentation. I think a feature that makes people feel less alone/in the spotlight when they are visiting a presenter in their room would be good to initiate more presentations.

As a presenter in a presentation room, I found it annoying that when I shared the screen to show my presentation, I couldn't simultaneously show my presentation and look at Remo to see if people were in my room. If there was some way of allowing me to show visitors my presentation when they arrive, while myself being able to see the room as well, that would be good.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compared with regular presentation/meeting apps, being able to visualise the conference layout is great. Also having individual tables where you can talk with a few people instead of all participants is good. Allowing people to have private rooms for their presentations at the same event is good. I don't know any other software that does this.

  ### 6. Remo is a great solution for conferences. It makes engagement in the virtual space look like real

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan Prado S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I love the way Remo makes you feel like in a conference room. The feeling of seeing everyone at different tables. How easy it is to connect to people through their virtual business cards, and how people can move around tables is spectacular.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Sometimes it takes a while to load. I also dislike that it's not available in other languages like Spanish and Portuguese. One other thing is that you can't dismiss the "Need help?" button and this makes me anxious.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

I really enjoy Remo. I think it's a little pricy if you don't have recurring clients. It's definitely a go-to for big events.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly remote training and virtual facilitations like leadership development seminars, business simulations, and networking rounds.

  ### 7. Good for small group discussions, but challenging to find people.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I like the small group discussions around a table. The whiteboard is a neat feature that is handy in some situations. The video quality is very good. I like the knock when someone joins a table.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I find it hard to locate others that I might know at an event. The chat area is a bit hard to navigate and use with all the different types, and table chat being temporary. I also don't like that there are non-responsive people taking up table space.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attending events remotely has been a nice experience. You can join in on your time and explore fairly easily. I'm able to join events that I would otherwise have missed or skipped.

  ### 8. This is the most fantastic virtual conference tool. A few glitches to address.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raja S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

That the participants can be all involved and it becomes interactive. It also creates a good portal which seems user friendly.
The TABLES is amazing!!

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

That it has issues with mobile and Ipad support. I was expecting an app on IPad for Remo.p
2. The size of the speaker ppt and the speaker camera should be adjustable.
3. Once the session got disconnected, there is NO BUTTON to join the main session. I was toggling around tables, only to refresh my screen and connect to the session again.
4. The whiteboard works only if we share a image of the PDF. The PDF in itself doesnt embed, but forms a downloadable file icon.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Use it. But wait for ipad and mobile support. Most students are accessing using mobile devices.
THIS BRINGS HUMAN CONNECTION TO THE VIRTUAL SPACE.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to attend the aerosol society conference.
THIS SOLVES THE PROBLEM OF A CORRIDOR CONVERSATION. Human Connect is BAck!!

  ### 9. Excellent virtual networking!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I attended the Scottsdale, AZ Showcase this week and really liked the virtual ballroom. I could move around the ballroom to look for people. When I joined a table I could chat them as well as see and talk to them. I liked that you could also scroll through the chat list to look for people. I liked that there were different size tables, 2 person tables for 1-on-1 networking, as well as 4 and 6 person tables for group discussions.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Nothing. If I had questions, I just went to the help desk.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My attendees want a lot of social networking time to catch up with their friends. Remo is the way to do it.

  ### 10. Excellent software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petr A. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

Ability to run a conference and networking that are "like" in real world.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Lot's of opportunity to take the product even further. I would like to see the ability for all participants to have a giant face to face experience like in zoom, pre-assign people to tables, lock tables, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Try it. Run your first event on the trial and you will love it.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have converted most of our over 200 events per year to virtual thanks to Remo. It has brought us revenue from events and made us more efficient.

  ### 11. Remo is a game changer - other will follow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris L. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

Remo humanises on line conferencing /video

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

It needs a few tweeks like any product - simplify first time logins - maybe a few background features

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

get involved

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are bringing communities together , in the business world and in the third sector - making the on line experience a little more engaging

  ### 12. Excellent Networking Event

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ric H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The platform is easy to use and accessible. Attending a networking event in this way may even be better than face-to-face events as it takes away any of the overwhelm from entering a room full of people. It is great to see where people are and chose where you want to go.
I especially like the options to be at a table and network with people as well as there be presentations from the organisers.
Being able to click on people at the table and see their LinkedIn connections and link with them directly works exceptionally well.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

At the moment I am not seeing any downsides. I was using my MacBook laptop and getting used to the functiznlity moving things around the screen took a while, but got sorted and was easy after this.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can see how it will work well for us running training events and company away days virtually.

  ### 13. Abel Pacheco's Meet-up

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel W. | Adjunt Economics Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

It is really cool to be able to move throughout the room and choose networking based on tables and groups. I like the fact that the "seats" show a way to identify the people at the table. It is super simple to join a table, too. It is an overall super great networking platform.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

My camera turned off for me. The group said they could still see me, but I couldn't see myself. Also, I wasn't able to put up a virtual backdrop. I really really like being able to use a backdrop to cover up the fact that I am usually sitting in the middle of my bed for virtual events as our room is the quietest room in the house.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

This is an excellent platform for networking and has a true in-person kind of feel to it. Being able to move from table to table or group to group is really nice.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem being solved in the fact that face to face meet-ups, conferences, and meeting are few and far between with the current pandemic. Additionally, with Remo, we are able to search out new people that we have yet to meet instead of being randomly assigned to break-out rooms.

  ### 14. Remo is the future of online networking events

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

It is intuitive, you don't suffer from Zoom Gloom in which you are in another Zoom meeting, you can hop around from table to table which means you are truly networking!

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

The interface is a bit ugly. It needs to look cleaner . It looks very plain and one dimensional. If it could have a look of Super Mario World with 3d type feeling of the spaces, it would really make things easier on the eye.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are holding a technology networking event geared towards the hospitality technology industry. Interestingly, this platform is something that in ways competes with hotels ability to sell meeting space, so it is highly eye opening for them.

  ### 15. Feels like an in person interaction but some of the technology ie. the whiteboard needs polishing.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

That you can sit on tables and have group discussions with colleagues, also the ability to jump around these tables is a nice addition as it feels like an actual conference/ visit day. The floors option is also very handy as you can allocate each floor to a specific sub event ie. in my work we use the second floor as the interview rooms floor and the ground floor as the place where you can have more casual informal interactions and wait for your visit guide to pick you up for your virtual tour of campus. The ability to suddenly cut off all conversations and listen to a talk is also very handy as there is no risk of chatter interrupting the talk which is nice.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I feel that the whiteboard tool in the rooms needs improving, if you have a stylus (apple pen for example) it seems to work a bit better but if you are using a trackpad or mouse it seems to be a bit clunky and impractical to use say if you want to demonstrate a maths solution to an interviewee on it.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Go for it! It's very easy to use for big organisations in the now Covid world!

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to hold open days for the university in the same sort of social format as we would usually have (or the closest you can have whilst online), it allows for tour guides to give prospective students virtual tours of campus, lecturers to interview those students in a private virtual setting and allows for speakers to give talks and lectures to the whole of the cohort in attendance that day.

  ### 16. Great platform for networking and creating a virtual conference.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The tables and ability to sit and network with other people is great. The short tutorial when folks sign in was very helpful. Presenting and promoting guests to presenters was really easy and seamless. All our attendees had a good time and enjoyed the platform!

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

There was no way to save the chat afterwards, similar to the Q&A. It would also be great for the record feature to record the whole screen, rather than just the people talking, so you can see the chat happening in real time.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Definitely use this! We got a lot of compliments and it made us look very professional. The cost to use Remo versus other platforms is ideal, and you have complete creative control. Highly recommend.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We host an in-person Retreat every year, and Remo Conference helped us bring it online during COVID-19. It recreated some of the aspects that are important when meeting in-person, like networking. We may use this going forward to be able to reach a wider variety of people.

  ### 17. Hands down the best networking platform for 2020

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

There is no other platform like it. The ability to create a virtual networking room has been invaluable for our company and our clients. We have used it as a platform for everything from basic networking events to galas and game shows. The flexibility Remo gives us allows us to go to our clients and give them more options than just basic video conferencing and webinar platforms. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit we were scrambling to find a solution for all of our clients we produce in-person shows for. Remo has been a mainstay in our company as our go-to networking solution for clients.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Remo has been developed as a networking platform, and that is its obvious strong point. What it lacks is more robust presentation features and controls, especially for operators/hosts of events. If there was more of an ability to control who was presenting, assign people to tables, and some additional control over Remo events we would use it with even more of our clients.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are definitely solving the "zoom breakout room" problem of corporate networking. Remo's ability to move between networking groups seamlessly and easily is an incredible solution for us. Our clients are no longer bound to putting a bunch of people in a big Zoom room for networking and can use Remo as a platform for more traditional networking.

  ### 18. Working not so well on mobile!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** krystal C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

Individual rooms or tables are excellent ideas! It's a good practical for virtual office or meetings and creating a privacy areas. We definitely will increase the number of virtual meetings/office because of social distancing. Especially for the business point of view, the young generations are more easy to adapt to online environment. It's quite fun to play around, such as learning group in the classes and gathering in a restaurant.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

When my colleagues used Remo from mobiles, it did not work properly. They got kicked out and blank screen during in the meeting. We also found the share screen was too small to project the documents.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Please solve the mobile issues and the sizeable portion of users are using mobile or tablets instead. The share screen to project the documents is too small.

  ### 19. Highly recommended for online events with true networking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos V. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The possibilities it has for presentation, the way to help manage the event, and above all the networking it offers.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Not being able to assign people to each table, and I consider the price to be high, but it is manageable.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The lack of physical events is compensated with tools like REMO. It has allowed me to create the event and not lose a year of the event that I hold annually.

  ### 20. Provides real networking missing from other platforms

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hilary H. | Chief eXperience Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I like that people can move table to table and not only video chat but share a whiteboard surface to work with others at the table. It's unique

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I would really like to be able to assure clients that it works on iPad and other mobile devices. I know it is in beta for mobile and our techs have tried it on our events but it would be great to be able to assure customers.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have done business social events, virtual holiday party, a brand launch event. People burned out on zoom really responded to the new platform feel of Remo.

  ### 21. Smooth virtual conference solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jiří . | Technology Evangelist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The flexible virtual multi-room venue provides privacy and open space when needed.
Stable and easy-to-use channels - video, whiteboard, chat, sharing, etc.
Easy setup and quick tour for newcomers make sure participants share the basic information.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

As a participant, I am not sure how many options are available to the organizer in terms of branding and design. For our own use, I would like to have a broad range of personalization options.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

As a participant, you want to have your LinkedIn and social media links handy + do enter these into your profile before entering. This will increase your networking visibility.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I participated in a virtual conference. I could switch between private and open rooms, attending to separate discussions with ease. I had zero problems or glitches throughout the 80+ minutes event.

  ### 22. Remo has been a great strategic partner for our Eliances community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brion C. | SVP of Wealth Development - The nexus of technology, capital & real estate investment opportunities, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

Being able to pick who I want to meet with in a meeting vs Zoom which I don’t have control over breakout rooms. Also that once a user has their profile set up we can connect directly to their profiles on social media, go to their websites and also book a 1 on 1 followup on their calendar links

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I have not figured out how to select a virtual background

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Remo offers many features that make online events and networking more interactive than Zoom Highly recommended especially for networking events

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems and I have made more meaningful connections at Remo events vs other virtual platforms. Would be great if there was a searchable calendar of open events like there is on sites like Eventbrite

  ### 23. Very easy to use! I really enjoy the feature and ability to chat with just one table.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassidy S. | Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The ability to chat with just one table. The chat and video functions are great! It is also very useful for presenters to be able to call individuals back to the main presentation as well as their ability to "call" other presenters up on stage.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

There is somewhat of a lag when joining the tables.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

I recommend that users try it out before a conference, but it takes just a few minutes to get the hang of everything!

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of being able to move around and network during a virtual conference. With other platforms, you are assigned to a breakout room and seem to be stuck there unless the organizer re-organizes who is in what room.

  ### 24. Easy to use, great attendee experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle P. | Director, Programs , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

It allows people to network naturally within a virtual event.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

The color palette of the Remo rooms are a little cartoonish. Users would need to build a custom floor plan for a more professional look.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Include the Remo gear test link and FAQ when you communicate with your attendees, so they can check their system before joining your event.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remo is allowing us to have networking time before our programs, which we always had in-person, but couldn’t do with webinar platforms. We’re also using it for speed networking and exhibit hall.

  ### 25. Virtual Conference Attendee

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The virtual conference format for networking between tables based on set topics was pretty effective. The aerial view of participants and available seats provided a helpful overview for surveying networking opportunities.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Very few complaints overall. It is a surprisingly robust platform. The volume of notifications for navigating the interface was a bit excessive and distracting. Allow users to access the content if desired but don't make it mandatory.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

I would recommend Remo Conference if you're seeking a virtual interactive experience beyond a webinar format.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our professional industry organization decided to have this year's conference be virtual due to COVID. We were seeking a collaborative platform that could foster networking similar to in-person interactions (as best as possible).

  ### 26. Truly Social Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

Small chats at tables and automatic video/mic muting during presentations

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

It was unclear from the registration page that we were in the right location because we were not allowed to join the event early

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Presenter mode offers a more professional and dramatic event. The small table interactions stimulated conversation. The table hopping ability gave the virtual event a personal feeling.

  ### 27. So interactive & engaging for a virtual conference!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I love that the conference I was able to attend was able to set up the virtual space as they do in person. It really made an in person event go virtual in a seamless way. The features offered presentation mode to giving us the capability to meet one on one with our delegates. I loved the lounge feature as well where we could have happy hour! It really offered the ability to organically pull up with speakers and delegates in aa casual fashion, as you would be able to at an event.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

The only downside is that you are 100% reliant on technology working in order to have a seamless user-friendly experience. I didn't have an issue, but some other users did and that created some setbacks.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently looking into Remo for a company wide event that we would do in person, but with the current crisis, need to take virtual that being said, it also solves for a cost-effective alternative.

  ### 28. Remo is great as long you have good facilitators!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I love being able to see the entire conference from a birds-eye view and to move from table to table.
I like the feature of being about to customize the floor however you want with pictures and notes and videos.
The platform is pretty intuitive

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I've been to a few conferences where those who are using the platform don't really know how to use it best for their needs. The networking is cool but pulling people away from networking to jump into the session without warning is annoying. I wish there was a way to be in the room but not be at a table. The Q&A in a different window than the Chat is a good idea but takes a while for folks to learn. There have been a few outages that have disrupted our meetings.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

It works best if you're planning to use it for a few different events. It takes a bit for folks to get used to the platform.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Small breakout rooms for networking. Visually having choice around which room to go to, in other words, picking the room you want to be in. Helping to avoid zoom burnout

  ### 29. A virtual congress structure for events

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christophe D. | International IT Portfolio Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The structure with several small rooms to split event and subjects. The easiness to create profile and join

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Some features should be better explained ( how to vote for some events, for instance)

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Difficulty to have people from remote locations in one place.
Difficulty to split a team in several group when using conventional videoconference systems

  ### 30. nice way to socialize

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

seeing the tables with people and that it limits the number of people at any given table so you can actually chat w others. Being able to chat with specific people through the chat function was awesome

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

At the beginning all of our videos were in a strip form at the top and then I touched one and it featured it, but I couldn't get it to go back to not being featured, I liked that at the beginning I could see who was at the other tables in case I wanted to say hi :)

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

great option for community-building and discussion - much more like a virtual space (especially) since you actually see the tables :)

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving: missing social interactions with people, having the freedom to move around. As a frequent host, having to organize people "live" during a session is quite stressful, and Remo allows the participant to be the one who "self-organizes"

  ### 31. REMO is a great platform that mimic in person networking!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

REMO is great with the virtual tables and it allows people to hop from table to table.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

REMO needs to work on
1) Showing how many meetings are at each table
2) Saving chats for users
3) Be able to play video recordings without lag
4) Have more Zoom like features - like enable waiting room
5) Place people at a SPECIFIC table instead of a random one

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

If you are in need of a virtual networking site, REMO is here for you!

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to still host our networking sessions on REMO! The benefits of it -it still allow us to chat with our clients and leads.

  ### 32. An awesome virtual experience with an awesome conference

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** May King T. | Live Social Media Reporter and FOMO Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The visual aspects that makes it look like you're looking at a real floor plan is incredible. The tables being organised into virtual meeting places, opportunities for 1-2-1 meets and even a place for where you can spend of bit of timeout was also incredible.

The main stage and being able to bring in attendees onto the virtual stage was another feature I particularly liked too.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

There wasn't anything I disliked but a possible future feature? To be able to tag attendees in the chat, just like Facebook?

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There were initial audio problems but closing out and going back in seemed to do the trick.

  ### 33. User and potential subscriber

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

When I attended a virtual dinner via Remo I was so impressed with the socialization aspect of sitting at tables and interacting with people just like a real in-person event!

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I wish we could have more people per table as I'm used to 10 at a table at most events.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we are facing is replacing in-person events and this is the closest I have come to a virtual replacement. There is an added benefit to being "forced" into a table where you chat with others and can see each others faces, rather than the opportunity to sit quietly and lurk instead of participating.

  ### 34. Remo is a game changer.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

With such a large number of attendees, it was a challenging task to find a platform that would deliver an engaging experience for our attendees and partners alike. We were told by a colleague to check out Remo , and after our first demo, it was clear that there wasn’t anything else like it.

We finished the event with a wealth of knowledge and so many ideas on how to implement this virtual environment into future events. If you’re looking at a truly interactive experience for a virtual event, I can’t recommend Remo enough.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Just a few things with the functionality. I'd like if you could duplicate whiteboards in an easier way. It was tedious to duplicate at each table. Would love if you could only see who is in your building at one time. Searching the chat function is challenging.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing the 'in-person' experience as close as possible, through a virtual environment. It truly makes you feel like you are there.

  ### 35. Graphic Designer, Brand Strategy, Operations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The ability to design the floorplan to look on brand. Easy to use. Customer service gets back very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Limits on the number of people that can be on the floorplan. The clock/time setting tool. would like to see polling. Q+A feature is odd.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Excellent opportunity to really brand your event.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In most platforms, attendees have to navigate into presentations. In Remo, you can elect to pull everyone in at once so they don't miss anything.

  ### 36. Best Virtual Networking and Collaboration Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie-Claire R. | Building Trust Expert | Leadership teams, leadership and teamwork | Speaker | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

Remo is the best networking tool online. You can easily jump from table to table and meet new people. It's not awkward like face to face events. It's even good for breakout sessions.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

The only thing I dislike is that it's not integrated into Zoom, so it can be used as a replacement to breakouts.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

This is a great solution if you want people to meet and work with each other online.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recommend my corporate clients use Remo to better collaborate across their organisation and ensure employees get to meet everyone even though they might be working in different countries. It's a great option to get people talking to each other.

  ### 37. Remo at a Glance

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

It was great to be able to hop around to the tables and "see" people. That's what people seem to be missing the most these days.
The "stage" had good quality video and framing so for a panel it would work well.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

The ballroom set-up seemed a little crowded and busy when you first land there - not sure if it's possible but would be nice to have some flexibility on the set-up of the room...

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Play around with it as much as you can to see all the functionality - the FAQs are helpful but until you see it in action...you really won't know how it looks/feels.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a platform that will facilitate networking. This one hits it on the head! I also wanted to have a presentation mode that would allow for a chat - not just a Q&A.

  ### 38. Well that was fun!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Myles F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

Neat format - the switching between video presenters was very smooth, and loved the chat feature. Once I got the hang of how the Rooms and Floors worked, made the socializing piece enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

More pop-ups telling me what was going on might've helped. Now, I probably could've read some instructions, but having not done so, I was not fully aware what was going on, so it wasn't especially intuitive at the outset.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it was a really good format for a virtual Xmas party.

  ### 39. It is different than other platforms but I think it has a lot of potential.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I liked how it was more social with the tables for discussion. I am interested to see how that works in a large event.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

It is not as intuitive as I would like to join a table. I had to read a lot to figure that out. Could you send me a message immediately when I enter? Is there a way to search for someone that I know that is at the event?

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it makes it more of a social event and I think that is missing in most conference software platforms. I think it could be another good tool.

  ### 40. Its a great platform to use while having an event or a conference and don't want it too formal

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesus M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I like that I am able to see how the platform looks like before the event and also do a lot of practice runs

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I dislike that the table have limits on how many people can sit

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that ive run into have all been tech issues. People are having problems with their mics and cameras. Also the type of browser people use is an issue, especially for the older crowd.

  ### 41. Very innovative system!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The tables, allowing people to converse with each other. And how easy it was to join as a presenter.
The graphics were very pretty and the system was very intuitive. By far the best conference system I have used so far!

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

It is not very accessible for folks with disabilities. Additionally, during my talk, the system broke and would not allow the hosts to send people to their tables.

Lastly, it would be great to have a public "microphone" option to allow interaction with people verbally rather than in the chat only. Specially for Q&A's or interactive conversations.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Log in before you use it to familiarize yourself with it.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing participants to network and choose who to interact with. I think it is great and it gives he closest experience to an in person event or conference.

  ### 42. Mobile lacking

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The desktop experience was good, ability to participate on small groups as well as ability to easily move between single and multiple presenter views

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Mobile experience was terrible. Mobile crashes, is difficult to view multiple presenters, can not zoom to slides/screen sharing leading to inability to see all data.
Would like to see dedicated app, supporting tablet as well as TV devices such as AppleTV for large screen presentation in a shared space.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Allow time in the schedule to manage technical difficulties, especially early in the event.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Virtual conference, many users able to quickly and easily join a conference, view presentations, managing multiple presenters and supporting participant collaboration.

  ### 43. Probably the best solution for remote events !

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

It's not just about attending an event. Remo allows participants to network, meet other people, have great discussions, etc.
Just like in real world. Participants can move from one table to another one, from a floor to another one, etc. Great experience.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I've just had one challenge with Remo : as presentation, not possible to share the sound of my powerpoint.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During the last months, I've attended a lot of remote events. Those using Remo were amazing. Great speakers but also great discussions with other participants. Can move from a table to another one, network, etc.

  ### 44. Fantastic platform for conferences

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The setup is great. It looks like you are at a conference. There are different rooms with takes and chairs. You click on a room. You hear a knock to let people know that you are entering. Then you take a seat. You can move from room to room and floor to floor.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

It is very easy to navigate so there is nothing that I don't like.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

It is a fantastic tool that is invaluable during the pandemic.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it a great way to hold conferences. You can have small breakout groups during a larger meeting.

  ### 45. A Useful Tool with Limited Customizability

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I enjoy the concept and the integration of video calling elements with a virtual space. It defeats most virtual conference experiences because it offers in-person, face-to-face, realtime communication.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I find the color scheme too pplayful and the tutorials/how-tos somewhat confusing and convoluted. The user experience requires some work on my end to learn how to use Remo.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

You will need a lot of time to learn the platform and read various articles. It's not too user-friendly, but you can do it if you have time!

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meeting during the effects of COVID-19, finding meaningful ways to connect

  ### 46. Great energy, great flow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I liked the control and the effortless way of focusing from one speaker to the next. I also liked the ability to swap tables, chat with folks at tables.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

Not being able to access tables or the "elevator" during a presentation. I joined late, (I knew I would be late in coming from another meeting) and spent some frustrating moments trying to follow the directions to get to my assigned table. No avail. it was only during the last 5 minutes before the event closed I was able to navigate to the table.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are considering 2 end of year events

  ### 47. Great experience at spark

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulius G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

Interactive nature of the platform, gamified design

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I was using my phone to participate in the conference and I was automatically assigned a table which I didn't know happened. While trying to change tables it took me about 5mins to be able to do it and by the time I did some of the people who I wanted to connect went to another table. I think it did remind me of online poker room and in that setting you have to choose a table as you arrive in the lobby you are not automatically assigned one.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Networking in the conference

  ### 48. Excellent webinar platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

The networking tables feature is quite unique. The webinar style presentation abilities are actually quite good. Everything seems to work well.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

The screen share quality was not the highest resolution, at least not on my screen. This could have been an issue with my internet connection, but the screen share was not as crisp or as high resolution as I'm used to.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

Really good for webinars and large scale pitch events. Any large event, this platform is phenomenal, and should be an excellent choice.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Presenting at investor pitch events. I think this platform is perfect for pitch events.

  ### 49. Great Way To Connect Virtually

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal H. | Conference Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I love the fact that people can join tables and meet speak to people via video. The table set up really helps to get people in the mindset of networking.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

I dislike that we cannot have background music while people are at their tables. I think that would be a nice addition.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When people come to our conferences, they really look forward to networking with the other attendees and speakers. This helps us to still deliver that benefit to our attendees.

  ### 50. Better Video Conferencing for Actual Conferences

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Remo Conference?**

I like the setup where you can move between tables and floors.

**What do you dislike about Remo Conference?**

The controls have descriptions, but are not as intuitive and still take more time to learn to use than expected.

**Recommendations to others considering Remo Conference:**

It takes some getting used to, but until convention centers open up for conferences again, this is the best platform for them to happen digitally in my opinion.

**What problems is Remo Conference solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had to figure out for a while how to use the interface, but the benefit of more accurately social interactions in groups and mobility between groups was great.
